I saw in my local FB neighborhood group, about this must eat local food establishment. Did not disappoint. So incredibly good. Gal who greeted us was friendly. After placing order, paying. My little girl and I grabbed a table. Employee brought us delicious hot yes, the chef brought us a delicious appetizer. My little girl is so picky and devoured her teriyaki dinner. After enjoying the fresh, delicious appetizer...the diamond of my meal....the delicious fried chicken tender breasts and sauces. The 20 piece order was so huge. I had leftovers for next two days. They were fresh, delicious and so incredibly tasty. Honestly best dang chicken tenders I have had in this state. I will be back. This place is so good. Employees are friendly and engaging.

Wow!!! Oh my goodness... best. chicken. tenders. ever!!! I loved them. Slight Cajun seasoning and soy garlic sauce in the side to dip in. They were awesome. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I will be getting these again and again. Goodby McDonald's, KFC, And all you other chicken joints. Half order was huge. Chicken fried rice was good also. Filled with lots of flavor and veggies. The portions are great. Mom had regular teriyaki and it was large enough to feed 2 people. Hubby had spicy chicken and it usually isn't spicy enough for him , but this one packed a good enough punch he didn't have to add spice to it. This is under new management and they have cleaned up the interior and it has a new menu. Good job. We will be back frequently. Welcome to the neighborhood

I saw a posting on Facebook and we decided to try it. We don't normally eat chicken or meat, mostly veggies and periodically fish or seafood. Sometimes I get a craving for fried chicken, but not often. We decided to try this since it's just up the street from us. Glad we did! I ordered our food too go. I got the spicy Yangnyum Chicken, half order (10 pieces) and the Crispy Soy Garlic chicken, half order (10 pieces). They give the sauce on the side and you are expected to pour it over your chicken. Good thing I knew which was which! They also give a side salad of marinated daikon & jalapeño pepper in a nice vinegar sauce. Both chickens are deep fried and very tasty! We enjoyed both but the spicy Yangnyum was very sweet along with being spicy. The spicyness was not overwhelming, but the sweetness was for me. My husband loved it. I preferred the Crispy Soy Garlic. Next time I will have to make a pot of rice to go along with it! There will definitely be a next time!

Join me for a minute. Imagine you are visiting the area. You have a reservation for a whale watch session, but you have time to kill. And your primary residence just does not have teriyaki chicken that delivers the same way that PNW teriyaki chicken does. It's so few and far between. But, in this area, it's in abundance. And you're craving it. So you Yelp it. Searching for the ideal place and happen upon this little place in a tiny strip of buildings. Maybe a little uncertain, but you're hungry. So you take the opportunity and visit. You won't be disappointed. It was so good. I ate my entire plate. Flavor, perfection. Though if you get the spicy chicken teriyaki, be prepared to have your mouth on fire. It may take you a minute, but it will be okay. So good, love it. If I lived here this would be a staple.

Super big and juicy korean fried chicken! Very large pieces compared to other pieces. Next time I'll try their other flavors! Only thing I disliked was that the sauce was on the side rather on the chicken, in other words I wish there was more sauce. I'd definitely come back!

I really love myself some Korean fried chicken, probably better than Kentucky fried chicken. I'll start off by saying that this was some of the most crispy and crunchy pieces of chicken I have ever had, and at the same time was extremely juicy and tender inside. Everything was perfectly executed and it was all spot on. I could only dream of having crispy chicken that is ALSO juicy. We ordered the spicy yangnyum, garlic soy, and just some plain chicken. I really liked how they kept all the sauces in conatiners so that the chicken would stay crispy and not become soggy. My favorite was by far the garlic soy chicken because it had a really nice, intense, infused garlicy flavor, and also had a hint of sweetness, but it was more savory than sweet. It just coated the chicken perfectly and totally elevated what was already some amazing chicken. I would say the flavor of the chicken itself is actually kind of bland, but I mean that's why you get the different sauces. The spicy yangnyum chicken was still also really solid, and had a nice pack of spice to it, overall really solid. The big impression I had with this place is that they have some amazing chicken, I still can't stop thinking about how perfect they were, and I'm looking foward to the next time I can get some food here.

Walking into the restaurant on a Sunday night, I was surprised how empty it is. There weren't much take-out orders, either. The restaurant is sizable, slightly aging, but functional and approachable. The server answered my questions effortlessly; he knows the menu well. The TWELVE choices of banchan are visually impressive in volume; not surprisingly, a mix of winners and just-ok. Their foods in general lacked something; the flavors aren't all there. Looking at the banchan photo, I can see a lack of seasonings. The foods are plainer than many other Korean restaurants. The Food: Seafood Pancake, $18.99 - 3 Stars The seafood pancake isn't evenly cooked. From the photo, three slices are crispy brown, one and a half slices are pale. A bit more attention would be helpful. We took home most of these to recook. Seafood Soft Tofu Soup, $16.99 - 2.5 Stars The tofu is broken apart in chunks. The tofu is not as smooth and soft as what I commonly encounter. The flavor is a bit dull. Flounder Combo, $27.99 - 4 Stars This combo comes with a soft tofu soup. Mushroom beef is the choice. The flounder is the best single dish of the meal, likely seasoned, and perfectly fried. The mushroom beef soup is just ok, fairly bland.

My husband went with white wheat noodles and I chose the clear sweet potato noodles. It also came with rice, which was an unexpected but welcome addition. The banchan of kimchi radish and kimchi Napa cabbage were both excellent and refilled quickly without needing to ask twice. The soup is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting, the kind you immediately wish you had closer to home. Only wish is that they had a combination that included tendon, because that would be perfect. Definitely a spot I would come back to when we are in the area.

They had plenty of seating and we were able to fit our group of 6 into a booth. While they only have one grill per table, when the fire is turned on, it is really high so things cook so quickly! The mid tier (I believe $35) you can go serve yourself all of the meat, but the premium meats are brought out. We tried galbi, ribeye and scallops from the premium menu, which were all tasty (the galbi pieces were large and marinated well, ribeye was nice and red, and scallops while small, came in the shell). Most of the sides and meats are self service which is also nice. They have many different side dishes (including cheese corn!), different pickled veggies, garlic, lettuce, sauces, and the meats and some seafood like shrimp and squid were self serve including a nice cold meat refrigerator for the thin slices such as brisket and belly. They even have a hot bar that I didn't try with various fried foods. They also had oranges, and my favorite - a self serve soft serve ice cream station! Yum! There were also yogurt drinks at the end. It is a lovely place that I think it is mom and pop - we had a sweet lady as our server and she was nothing but smiles. Things can get busy so it took some time for our premium meats to come out but no worries as there were plenty of self serve things to eat while we were waiting. I have dined here before so the interiors isn't too different just small changes. Let's jump to the food- I ordered the galbitang and it came with 10 different banchan. Which is a nice surprise since some restaurants aren't as generous in the banchan. The galbitang was so flavorful for a "clear" soup and the meat was tender. It also included a good portion of meat. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often. When I went, it was just me then a couple arrived. There was a delay with their order so she provided some mandu on the house while their order was being prepared.
