I recently placed a catering order for a large tray of Chicken Mini's. I called and placed the order the day before I needed them, and scheduled a pick up time of 8:00am. The day arrives to pick up the order and my wife arrives at 8:05am and heads inside to the pick up area. She isn't greeted or confronted about picking up her order for a few minutes, but when she finally is addressed, the employee states that her order isn't scheduled for 8:00am but is for 8:15am. My wife explains that that's not the case but her claims are ignored. She hears the staff repeatedly say that the customer is there early for her 8:15 order, which is incorrect, but they state they are working on it. The time is now 8:25 and the order still has not been given to my wife. She is already running late to her meeting, and decides to get in line and pay for the catering order, and at the cashier, she explains to the employee that she's here to pay for her 8:00am catering order, and the employee states that the order is for 8:15am not 8:00am. My wife is beyond trying to explain to the employees that they are incorrect and that even if it was for 8:15, it was now 8:25 and she didn't have the order yet. Upon reviewing her receipt for the catering order, it clearly states that the order was to be ready by 8:00am... My wife didn't receive any apologies or anything as she finally got her order. This is not the customer service we've come to expect from this Chick-Fil-A location. They have always been prompt and very kind in our countless visits here. I have to say, this was not right for the employees to repeatedly tell my wife was wrong, yet she was correct the entire time. And the icing on the cake you ask? I get an email today with the following message: "Thank you for choosing us to serve your guests. Your order will be ready to be picked up or delivered at the right temperature, at the right time. In other words, the hot food will be hot, and the cold food will be cold. Remember, set-up and presentation are provided at no additional cost. See you soon!" I'm pretty sure that our order was NOT ready at the correct time. read more

Good quality quick food that you can quickly drive through and get. The options are great and I don't see any problems with the service the staff is great and cares about how they prepare your food. Waffle fries and and chicken nuggets are just amazing and they really go well with the Chick-fil-A sauce. Forgot one of our meals. Gave us the sides, sauces and drinks but forgot the actual sandwich. We didn't realize until we got home and didn't feel like driving back. Tried calling the number on the receipt 10 times to see if we could get a refund over the phone but no one ever answered. So we had to drive all the way back out there to get a refund. Didn't even care about the food. Just didn't want to be charged for it. And it wasn't even busy. This isn't the first time this has happened either. I've always liked Chick-Fil-A and try to go there for cleaner food. But this is where I was sold. Breakfast. I wanted a bit of egg and chicken in a burrito since I'm not a sausage patty fan. I was hoping that this place had a decent menu and was surprised at how busy it was at 0930! I thought it was serving lunch already. I went through the drive-thru, which moves quickly, and was impressed by the amount of breakfast choices there were. The items look smaller on the picture because when I got my bag, it was heavy. When I looked at the burrito, not bad! It was really yummy, salsa and handwipes are included, and it hit the spot. Super service, good for the price, fast, and a cleaner tasting food. If I could give a 1.5 I would have, but since there are a few good employees and they don't get orders wrong 100% of the time, I rounded up. Sadly this location has gone way down hill over the years, more specifically they took a huge nose dive following the reopening after having shut down for renovations. The old staff was good, I probably would have given them a 4, they weren't perfect, but the majority of the time they got the job done right, in a timely fashion, with a smile on their face and polite customer service. However, this new bunch, which not surprisingly often has new faces (meaning a lot of turnover), they are mostly young, but not fresh, the majority of them have really bad attitudes, do the bare minimum (if even that), they have messed up my order more often than they've gotten it right (even super simple ones), which is a big problem when your ordering drive thru, and they're usually slow with those messed up orders too. I like give benefit of the doubt for new people and in case there are people that are slow because they just aren't smart or skilled enough to do the job as quickly as others, but it's become evident that many of these employees just don't care and don't want to be there. When I just went there today, the girl that took my order was probably the worst I've dealt with this far, she didn't have a menu (and I actually needed one today, usually I don't, go figure) she had zero personality or customer service, just a bad attitude, like I was bothering her, that my being there was an inconvenience to her, after she read back the order, I'm not even sure if she said the amount (probably did), but then she shoved the car reader in my car window, didn't even ask cash or card or whether I wanted to pay with my app, and I even had cash visibly in my hand too. She quickly rushed off to talk with the other outdoor people, I think about work, but not sure, I was audibly saying things to them and they just ignored me, completely, 0 concept of good customer service. This location also extremely rarely gives out promotional rewards (unlike other locations I've been to), when they do they are usually cheap ones and often expire within a day or 2, if even! I overheard the owner say before that he basically doesn't understand or value personality and service with a smile, but rather just fill the orders quickly and correctly, but they don't even do that, so it's iffy orders, often slowly filled, usually without a smile and often with unapologetic attitude (that includes at least one of the managers too), and to top it off the quality of the food has gone down too (the fries are over cooked a lot now and never full). Thankfully there are a few employees that do smile and seem to care and don't roll their eyes when you ask them for something that is part of there job and why they're getting paid to be there and is sometimes to fix something they messed up, as if I'm being a nuisance and a jerk for wanting my order to be correct and not choosing to just live with a mistake they made, of which I do just let slide if it's minor, but I shouldn't be expected to be ok with any mistake or given attitude if I do politely as for it to be corrected, you're not doing us a favor, we're paying for a service and a product! Let's just say, the lines have been getting shorter and shorter at this location and it's definitely not because they are filling orders faster. read more

I do construction all over the DMV and will admit that I frequent Chick Fil A about 5 times per week. I am always in a different area each day and one thing that is great about chains like chick fil a is the consistency at each location. Every location has its quirks/pros/cons but this is the worst location in all of DC/MD/VA. Staff does not care, the line is constantly backed into the parking lot. For some reason you can't order in the store, but you can order online and pick up in the store. They also will not refill your drink. I think this is the only Chick fil a I have been to where the staff and location policies are the reason I had a bad experience. If at all possible, avoid this location and choose another. read more

I went here last night during Chick Fil-A Appreciation day. The drive thru line stretched out of the parking lot in three different directions. The line to the counter extended all the way outside and wrapped around to the drive through window. Even with such a long line, we witnessed a Chick Fil-A employee take the time to help an older lady carry her order out to her car! Nobody complained, we were all impressed that even during such a busy time, Chick Fil-A paid such close attention to the details of customer service. Even with the long line and packed dining room, the restaurant was still clean and well stocked. Considering how busy they were all day, we half expected them to run out of chicken! This is by-far, THE BEST Chick-fil-a I have ever been to. The staff is always friendly and nice. The food is always spot-on! I usually substitute the side-salad for the fries. I sometime order one of the salad entrees. In both cases, the salads are always full and perfect looking. None of that McDonalds bowel half-empty salad stuff here! On Tuesdays and Thursdays they have a kid's night where kids get a free 4 piece kid's meal for every adult combo meal purchased. On Tuesdays they usually offer a craft or presentation for the kids, and on Thursdays, they have a clown doing balloon animals. (You must go in to get the free meals. They are not offered in Drive-Threw.) I love the fact that the staff offers to bring your food to your table, and when slow, will even come around and offer to get you refills on your drinks. The bathrooms are SPOTLESS at all times. (Another sure sign that the management is paying attention and cares about the customers!) You have many choices for fast-food when driving down Liberia. They never fail to disappoint me, the second most nearest one is about 30 minutes away so I decided to have hope their fries would be good at least this one time. O How I Love Those Chicken Burgers Please note that I liked this place long before it was the center of the latest boring, unproductive political battle. The primary item here is chicken. Duh. It is a crispy chicken sandwich, and this place just does it perfect. They throw a couple of burger pickles in there that are a great combination with the chicken. They also have nuggets. Precious had a phase where she was into the nuggets for a while, but she hasn't had a hankerin' for a while. They have some fries too. They're nothing to sing songs about. But the chicken burger is awesome. Don't forget about the breakfast. The breakfast is the best. If you don't believe me, then drive by there at 8 a.m. on a Saturday. The drive thru line is 10+ cars, and I'm not joking. This was even before the big controversy. The primary item is a chicken biscuit. But what keeps me going to this place is the #7: the bagel breakfast. It's a bagel (no duh) with a piece of chicken, egg and cheese. It's a great combination, and you have to go check this out. It's delicious. They also have some party dishes. Precious went through a phase where she liked the chicken nuggets, and one time she got a platter of chicken nuggets for a party. I sometimes forget that Chick-fil-A is a fast food restaurant. I live near this particular branch so I eat here a lot. They have a parking lot though it gets pretty hectic and clumped up during the weekend. The staff is always kind and never moody like in some places and the service is relatively quick. They have a wide variety of Chicken centered foods as well as vegetarian options which I stay away from as a rule. I didn't give Chick-Fil-A a five star rating becuase they do sometimes get your order wrong, especially in the drive through. It seems like they are less tightly knit in the drive through section and it shows sometimes. But, this is over-shadowed by their absolutely delicious chicken and I definitely recommend coming here. read more

I went to Chick-fil-A with my grandmother and cousins about a week ago. We got there and our cashier, Ryan, was happy, nice and patient. My grandmother had forgotten a drink so he quickly got a small drink so she didn't have to pay for it. I love Chick-fil-A. I haven't been disappointed in one yet. This location is very close to my house, and I go there all the time. They do tend to get very busy, and I've found that sometimes it is faster to park the car and get your order to go rather than wait in line at the drive thru. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, and they're very good about getting people through the line as fast as possible. Sometimes, they will have people go outside with tablets to take drive thru orders, which does get people in and out faster. It's one of the cleanest fast food places I've ever seen. They often host "spirit nights" to support local schools. I think the only thing that would make it better is if they were open on Sunday. read more
