08/9/2026 I am from another state and since I've been here in Manhattan I've had the worst customer service with the Chic-Fil-A in Manhattan. The three times I've went to pick up my breakfast for myself and coworkers my order has always had something missing. The faith I once had in believing that everything was in my bag as I was hoping is gone. I will be checking my order bag at the checkout from now on. Had an experience the other day with a worker named Ed and I will NEVER go back to this place. He was extremely rude and condescending after asking me to personally give him my pin number for my debit card. I had never been asked that before and arrogantly told me that everyone that comes there uses a credit card as if I wouldn't know better. I requested a supervisor and Ed claimed there was no one higher than him there, only to find out there was and that Ed isn't even a manager. I can't bring myself to spend money there again after that experience. read more

Was working nearby so I figured I would just grab a quick bite. Usually Chick-fil-A are quick to get through and get your food. This one did not disappoint in that area. I ordered the cobb salad with creamy salsa. It was nice to eat a salad that wasn't full of the heart of iceburg lettuce. The tomatoes were nice and red with a slight firmness. There was plenty of topping and then the creamy salsa took it up a notch. To top it off one of the best lemonades around. read more

There are no complaints here! Living in Vegas the past 7 years, we had no Chick-fil-A. I grew up with it in Texas but of course once it is not available, it becomes a luxury and a special craving. I knew there was a CFA in the KSU Union, but tried it out a few weeks ago and found its pre-made food a little disappointing. The selections were limited. I found out CFA was opening today and was so excited. I saw all of the people camping out yesterday in the parking lot. I knew I wanted to go on opening day so I waited until 1 PM to grab lunch. There were so many people working on day 1 and I had no wait to order. I got the spicy chicken sandwich meal and sat down with a number - not sure if this will be a regular occurrence but food was delivered to my table. Because the restaurant was packed, I shared a booth with some other people. My meal came out lightening fast! It was hot and fresh and juicy. I really enjoyed the sandwich and waffle fries. Staff came around offering to refill our drinks, which was so nice. I met the owner on the way out. I was given a gift card for free breakfast so I will be back very soon. Came to this location tonight, an hour before closing and had an annoying and strange experience. I pulled up to order, was not greeted by the staff at the speaker per usual. As I am having a conversation on the phone waiting for the order taker I notice that they suddenly open the other lane and cars are ordering ahead of me. I say "hellooooo" and the guy finally acknowledges my presence...! When I get to the window to get my food the order taker, a young guy with glasses, the young lady taking my money, AND the MANAGER were all there staring at me, silently...wtheck?!! It's then that I realized that these boobs were listening to a private conversation I was having while waiting for them to take my order! BUT not this Chick-fil-A , I have given them more than enough chances for their reputation with me as a customer. The past 5 times I've gone through the drive thru either something was missing, or something was incorrect with my order. Stopped here for breakfast on the way back home, as we were visiting Manhattan from out of town. Due to COVID, we placed our order via drive thru, which consisted of two breakfast combos and a chicken biscuit. They asked us to pull over and park as they prepared the food. No worries. We waited 10 minutes and got our food and started the drive back home. All of us got sick from the breakfast and were confused as to why as the food should've been made fresh. read more

I had to give a review of this place just for the fact they go above and beyond for customer service. This location is consistently a great little fast food restaurant. They have to be trained to be this friendly and helpful. Always smiling, coming to check on you while you're eating, offering drink refills, and offering to take away your trash. BLUF: Best customer service ever! Drive thru gets extremely crowded during peak hours. Fast food done right. There was a Chick Fil A on my campus in Houston and that is where my addiction to CFA began. CFA's are usually hit or miss in the customer friendliness department in Texas but they are definitely on it here in Manhattan. Every single worker is extremely polite, which is nice for a "fast food" restaurant. It is nice to know that all the employees actually value the customer. We came here Saturday morning for breakfast and the drive thru line was crazy. But keep in mind, they do have 2 lines. I tried coming here for lunch last week and there was atleast 35 cars waiting in the drive thru. The inside was not crowded at all - walked right up and placed our order. The food came out quick and delicious as always. The chicken here is so gooood. Don't know how they do it or why others can't imitate it. My fiance got the breakfast burrito and I have to say, it looked and tasted like something you would have paid much more for at a sit-down establishment. I was very impressed. I also love the sweet tea here - the best you can get any where IMO. This is definitely the place to go if you're wanting quality fast food and tier 1 service. Keep in mind, if the drive thru line is long... just park and go inside, it'll be much quicker. Looks like i'll be driving across town more often! read more

Wow is all I can say. It's about time that a "fast food" place actually start serving and valuing the customer instead of treating them as an inconvenience. This is far from a typical fast food establishment, I would call it a restaurant with a drive thru, but just as fast. The staff is on point, very friendly and there to SERVE you. There were at least 15 cars in the drive thru when I arrived and I wasn't there anymore than 10 minutes. The chicken is incredible and be sure to stop and talk to the condiment master at the end of the drive thru lane once you pick up your order. He recommended 2 great sauces that I will never fully recover from (In a good way). Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce and Chick-fil-A sauce. This is your one stop shop for all things chicken. We have always had great experiences at this location. Unfortunately that all changed tonight. We came in about an hour and 15 minutes prior to closing and more than half the dining room was closed. There were multiple people in line waiting to be helped. Don't hurry become there was only one table empty and it was dirty. The customers were bumping into each other attempting to navigate through the single pathway that was available. So my tip is don't come in late with the idea of dining in. read more

David Hamel operates his business with two main focuses; leadership and people. I ordered a meal for dine-in and also another for carry-out (I was purchasing a meal for an employee of mine). Prior to even placing my order, he was helping a woman with her order, informing her of the Chick-Fil-A app to help her save, while also acknowledging the line of people waiting to place their own order. He didn't waiver his customer service for expedited service; he did both. After I placed my order, I received both my drinks and I took my seat in the lounge. He personally brought my order to me, sat down, and explained that he had communicated to his team that when I was finished with my meal, the other meal would be made so it doesn't get cold and to just inform the staff I was ready. Being a District Sales Manager for a major retailer, I inquired about some of his leadership practices and his focus on his operation in Manhattan, KS. He excused himself to ensure his staff was aware of what he was doing and where he was to maintain their high level of service. David gave me a few insights, recommended 2 books, and gave me one of his hiring manager's insights later on as well. As I finished my meal and conversation with David, Christina came by to take my empty tray and asked if I was ready for my to-go order. Not only did the staff know there was a to-go order to be made but who it was for. As I got to the counter to get my order David asked what the to-go orders drink was. I told him it was Dr. Pepper, he took the drink, dumped it out, and made a new one. I was made a priority in this location, amongst everyone else in the restaurant, and have yet to visit Store 03278 without David being there, approaching me and thanking me for coming in, and asking about my location in Manhattan I oversee. In retail, "the customer is always right." In this case, Chick-Fil-A didn't have to ask what was right, nor did I have to tell the staff what was right; they DO what is right. I am waiting for my meal and while I am I decided to write a review! Im super impressed with how they have it together! They have people outside taking orders, I assume to prevent issues and encourage clear communication. Then they get your name, and while you're not even to the window yet they bring out your drink and tell you (by name) your total. When you pull up to the window they tell you the nuggets are nearly done and asked me to pull to the left of another car and that Gideon will bring my meal. Like, they seriously always impress me. And they are always (I legit mean always) super friendly and always smiling. The bathroom inside had diapers for accidents you may have with your little babe, and a potty seat for the bigger babes to use the toilet. My children started begging to come here when it opened because of the indoor play area. So after a while I broke down and took them in. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food that they served. Chicken had good flavor and was always crispy on the bun. Veggies were fresh which doesn't always happen with fast food. The waffle fries are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle just like a good fry should be. Kids love the chicken nuggets and if they don't finish them Dad doesn't mind doing so . They also have soup available in the winter months and salad in the summer at this location which my wife really enjoys. Last never least is the milk shake they have in the summer which is a peach flavor. It is delicious if it didn't have so many calories I'd attempt to live on it for a while. The staff appears to enjoy their jobs and have a mindset to serve customers. This mindset is not labored but appears natural in the makeup of their employees. The training and ethos of the restaurant is on point. This may seem obvious, but a restaurants focus on efficiency, value, or profit margin miss that an engaging staff, good food, and service are what give the company it's true value. The engaging people and service offered at this restaurant is not seen widely in most fast food establishments. This ability to connect and serve the customer adds immeasurable value to the food which is very consistent and very good. No matter how busy they are, they do not take your patronage for granted.
