I don't always come to this location but today, it was very convenient. I chose to go inside. The restroom was very clean and I was greeted immediately. I witnessed the workers interacting and they were very cordial and helpful to each other. The young lady who assisted me was kind and jovial. She made eye contact and smiled. My spicy biscuit was delicious per usual. My hashbrowns were hot and crispy. I asked for peppermint syrup in my coffee for a little dazzle dazzle because I can. The staff that worked the evening of Friday, December 22, 2023 needs to go back through training. It seems like most of the staff work were just completely unaware of everything. I ordered my food through the app for pickup. When I walked in, I waited almost 30 minutes for my food to get ready (mind you I said I was there probably 5 minutes before I arrived). When I received my food, it was a catastrophe. First of all, it waited on their back counter for a while before they brought it out. When I checked my order, the put every single piece of food in a separate bag which was very wasteful and made it harder to check the food. I found a table even though the entire seating area had reserved signs. When I checked the bad, I received a kid's meal that I DID NOT order and on the other hand I didn't receive the kale side salad and grilled chicken nuggets. Even after I got home, I saw they gave my almonds instead of the chips for my chicken tortilla soup. I actually opened it and poured a little into my soup when I saw the disaster. The restaurant should accept parties if you can't manage your regular customer flow. Employees need to pay attention, listen and read which wasn't happening this day. I went there as I was in roughy to see a freind at hillcrest hospital , get in drive through line and there is no menus in vision. A very ignorant girl with GIANT EYE LASHES comes up to our car and NEVER EVEN LOOKS AT US, she faces away looking towards her co workers asked her what they had as I needed to see a menu but t she didn't answer and she just stood there. I said do you have chicken nuggets she said yes, so we thought safe do we got them , then my husband asked for fries she marked us down . I asked wgat dips she had as she asked us if we wanted NOTHING ! I had to ask everything . We forgot pop so as we passed a screen at the end that was a menu, I saw drinks and had forgotten to order . A woman in front of us had three inneractions with different workers and at the end she also forgot something and they Rand her up for icecream and took her debit. We got up to window and I asked if I could get two drinks I was told no. I asked why are you ringing that woman up at window but not us, she said my manager said this was last time . So we got nothing , I told her I was calling corporate but I'm also putting it here as the only difference was we were the only white people there. I was disappointed with my order. I walked to this chick-fil-a on 4-10-2024, cause I live some what close. I ordered a sandwich with American cheese on the sandwich, Mac &cheese, brownie, and fries. I love Chick-fil-A. I hate this Chick-fil-A. They are constantly getting my order wrong. Using the app and doing pickup takes forever. The sense of urgency and customer service just seems to not be as high at this location. I'd highly recommend either calling or reporting on the app if they ever get your order wrong, so that they can fix it. Maybe if this happens enough, they will start getting it right in the beginning. The food tends to be of decent quality, which is good. And don't even think about deciding which of the two lanes is faster because they don't call left lane right lane left right right lane, they asked for your order in no specific pattern. I'm writing a review for this because I see a lot of bad reviews. Obviously, it's a Chick-fil-a, no real surprise on the food. It is one of the only fast food restaurants I go to, the food is good and better quality then other fast food restaurants. This Chick-fil-a is newer, I think it opened a year or so ago. The dining room is nice (see picture) and the service was good, everybody was nice (as is the custom at Chick-fil-a). My only guess is that people are unhappy with the long lines and wait times, I don't see how this is a shock to people as every chick-fil-a is like this. The heavyset lady handing out orders at the drive through today at about 12:30pm was rude and argumentative. She was confused about which order was at the window and never asked me my name. When I told her my name she said something smart and basically threw my food at me. She didn't give me my drink and when I asked for it. Anyway, waiting in line from the entrance for 25 minutes while they are alternating one person taking orders. Zero sense of rush or urgency. Waited another 10 minutes for the food. Spicey Deluxe sandwich was poorly prepared. It fell apart quickly and the the chicken was two half's for some reason. Cool waffle fries. Other locations have someone walking around, offering to get you a refill, handout mints and a wet napkin. Well, this place doesn't do that, at least not today. I would not recommend this place. The is my 2nd and last time going to this chick fil a. The first time it was chaotic and it took an extremely long time to get my food. I know it's a newer and due to the location, I expected the wait. However, this last time I went it was not crowded at all inside. I walked right up and placed my order for a shake. I noticed there were about 6 people waiting. The manager( bald man) seemed discombobulated and just all over the place. The woman next to me told me she had been waiting for over 25 minutes for only grilled nuggets. The manager came over to her and offered her other items for the wait. I waited about 15 minutes and decided to leave without my shake. There was just way too much going on and no type of organization. It seems that they prioritize the drive through more than the inside. I'll just continue going to the Richmond location in the future and bypass this location. read more

Went here on a Monday morning at 10:30 to grab a quick drink from the drive through. Big mistake. Sat in line for just over 20 minutes, then Just as we get locked into the one open lane, they decided to open the second lane of the drive through and a couple more cars that were well behind us (the first two cars they motioned to move to the second lane were 3+ cars behind us). Annoying, but, ok... Finally get to order 2 teas with light ice. Wait another 11 minutes to get to the pick up window. We saw as we approached the pick up window that at least one other car ahead of us had only a drink order as well. So, after sitting through a 31 minute wait from a drive through where we were 5 cars deep on arrival, we get tea that was arguably the most watered down tea I've had in quite some time. To the point where I asked my wife if her drink was tea because it was not readily apparent that mine was, if you'd have said it was ice water, that would have been plausible without looking at the color. She said hers was also extremely watery. Usually, I quite like Chick-Fil-a tea, but this was an incredibly poor excuse for tea and the crazy wait (for which no one was even vaguely apologetic) made me know that this was the last stop at this location and I'll be sure to factor in this experience if I consider other locations as well. read more

For what it is worth, I am a Chick-fil-A fan boy. I will seek out this restaurant, when there are others that are much closer. However, this particular location has become a recurring disappointment. If I wanted to wait 35 minutes for fried chicken, I would go to Popeyes. I don't know if it's a staffing issue or what, but this place moves at a snails pace. The most irritating part of all; is how they built the drive thru. Because of cement curbs and barriers, once you're in line, and there's a car behind you... you are trapped. There have been multiple times the wait just got so out of hand that I needed to leave, but I couldn't escape. I'm not sure if they planned it that way, but shame on this store for choosing to go that route. What if there was an actual emergency and someone had to pull out. You couldn't do it. Worst Chick Fil A I've ever been to. Came around 7pm on a Sat. Staff was friendly but this location needs some major process and management overhauls. Initial online order was supposedly cancelled but then still charged my card. They rectified this. I had to order in person and from time of order to food being ready was 30minutes. A lot of people were waiting for long periods of time for their orders. They ran out of Chick Fil A sauce, brownies, Mac n cheese and drink carriers. Food came out with luke warm chicken nuggets that were like they had been cooked 1-2hrs prior and sat out. Fries were cold and soggy. One of the women's bathroom stalls was out of service. Went there for lunch with my wife. We had high expectations, since we don't eat out much and the Chick-fil-A that we had at other locations was really quite good. The restaurant was really pretty nice with a good vibe. The service was excellent and there were many innovations such as motion detecting trash receptacles. Now why a two star... the food was mediocre at best on this day. The fries were warm, not hot and the spicy chicken was not so spicy. The sandwich also was of questionable quality. The chicken fil-A was not so crispy and was way over breaded. Another thing that we absolutely did not like was the packaging for... everything. From plastic straws to Styrofoam cups, this food was WAY over packaged. The little ketchup packs were serious dispensers... with a large throwaway package and trashy detachable tabs. I think this is unacceptable. I don't mind using the little paper cups for my ketchup... a little messy, but it is worth not filling our landfills needlessly. The food is probably better depending on when you go in and how fresh-cooked it is. Ours was not as fresh-cooked as I would have liked. Third time visiting this establishment, so this is a baseline. Always a serious wait and one kiosk open at DINNER TIME! Very slow, the people, the orders taken, the response time 45 minutes is unacceptable for fast food. Every car that went through took 5 minutes. Horns were blowing.
