I've never been to a bad Culver's until today. While walking into the store an employee, delivering a drive thru meal, walked in the door after speeding ahead of me, no greeting, and did not hold the door. He was young, so I didn't expect much. My son and I approached the counter where at least 5 employees were having a conversation and joking around. Once again I didn't expect much because they were young; however, they all waited to finish their conversation before helping us with our order. Pretty bad customer service. Next disappointment- the unsweetened tea dispenser looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. There was a visible sludge growing out of the nozzle (see picture). I let an employee know that the dispenser was dirty and he did not apologize. He said we clean it every night with hot water. No way it's getting cleaned nightly, and if it is hot waters not working. I never got an apology- just an offer to get some unsweetened tea from drive thru. I passed and had lost my appetite. Lastly, still a slow night with lots of conversations between employees. Two were in the dining room talking and using foul language around my 10 year old son. I've been to several Culver's and I have always left pleased. In fact, I suggested Culver's as the best fast food burger restaurant in a contest at work. I still stand by my suggestion, but if this was my first Culver's experience I would never eat at another one. It was a slow night- please do better and clean your dirty restaurant. What can I say as a Culver's regular, the double butter burger with cheese is always on point. The curds always fried to perfect deliciousness along with the crispy fries. Even if this location was a different one than our normal one, it was still a delicious flavor experience. The staff were also super nice as experienced at all the Culver's I've been to. Up until we moved to Florida just shy of two years ago, we had never heard of Culver's. Today we made a conscious decision to eat there. Wow. Like WOW! Culver's was so much more than we expected. The place was so clean and inviting! From the colors, to the decor and the modern style of the architecture, we were immediately impressed. After taking a moment to study the menu, my wife and I both ordered a butter burger. I was satisfied with the cost and the wait time wasn't terrible. The staff were very friendly, also. The food is brought to the table and we were impressed with the quality of it all! The fries weren't covered in salt, the burgers weren't slipping out of the bun... In fact, the burger was incredible!! Just a week prior, I reviewed the burger at higher-end restaurant, Grills, on U.S. 1, claiming it was about as flavorful as a block of styrofoam and all the salt we shook off the fries was what we used to add taste to it. I went there for a milkshake after being at the Avenues. Ordered a strawberry shake. I don't believe peanut butter is an ingredient in a strawberry shake. Would be a real problem with someone with a peanut allergy. So disappointed they use jam or preserves to make the strawberry flavor. Thats so wrong on so many counts. Asked if they used jam as the strawberry ingredient the girl said no , but they do . So after two send backs, first peanut butter/ strawberry combo, then the strawberry jam episode, I got the vanilla. It was a shake what can I say. I'm giving a 3.5 star rating but I had to choose the 3 because my experience was not a 4. I want to say that customer service was great! No complaints there. I placed an order for a kids meal and two regular meals. I was all the way back at the hotel before I realized that they didn't give me a kids drink. Luckily I had a previous purchased juice that I could give to my son. Also, my codfish sandwich was either sitting for a while under a heater lamp or it was over cooked. It was very crispy. My son enjoyed his butter burger and fries. I would try them out again and just be more mindful of my previous experience. read more

When a flippant and uncaring drive-through employee becomes dangerous for your customers. We had the audacity to show up at 9:34:06 in search of ice cream. We sat and thought, are they closed? When we ordered a chocolate shake, we were brusquely interrupted and told there was no more chocolate or vanilla ice cream; only the flavor of the day was left. When asked if we could get that without the pecans because of a tree nut allergy, was assured yes. So, we ordered, and what was received was a half -melted scoop of caramel ice cream of which halfway through we discovered pecans had been mixed in. Draw your own conclusions. read more

I like Culver's food and since I work nearby and occasionally do the drive thru for lunch. I'm not bashing Culvers nor staff, they are always very pleasant! The only issue I would encounter is that when they ask people to pull ahead to wait for their order, people would pull up a bit (not all the way to around the corner) and then one is stuck behind them and can't reach the window to pay for your order. This happened today again and I had to leave the line and abandon my order. Perhaps have staff come out and advise those waiting to pull up all the way to keep the line from backing up. Hungry and looking for something quick to eat. Found Culvers via Yelp! Place was pretty empty, it was about 2:30pm. Straight to the counter and placed our order. We decided to eat outside since it was a nice day. In a few minutes, out came our burgers. Typical Culvers. A bit greasy and tasty. My wife thought it was a little on the burnt side. Since time wasn't our friend, we didn't say anything. The pretzel bites were quite good. My biggest beef is not with Culvers. Instead, it was with the landscaping crew working. I just love how they decided to blow the grass cuttings all over the cars that were anywhere near a curb, like mine. So a bit difficult to enjoy as you're listening to the roar of the motors and worrying about what they are doing to your car. Service was good. Food was decent. Environment would have been good except for the cutting crew. Not sure why they aren't cut in the morning before they open. read more

A fair place to get a decent burger in the Viera area This is a restaurant chain that, according to their website, was started in 1984 by the Culver family in Sauk City, Wisconsin serving ButterBurgers and Frozen custard. The chain now boasts 987 locations in the United States. This location is just off the East side of Lake Andrew Drive just north of the Avenue Viera shopping mall. It has a drive through and it's own parking lot. The entrance was clean and ordering was easy. You order at the counter, get a number for the table and they bring your food to you. The staff was nice and the prices are reasonable for the economy and location. I have been to this location twice over the years that it has been open. Let me be clear that I am a silent customer. If food does not come out like I ordered it, I rarely return it or ask for it to be correct. Both times that I have been there my order has been incorrect. The burger is very good but both times I have visited, I ordered with specific toppings and got different toppings. My wife's order was also incorrect so overall, not the best experience. I may try again in the future but offer that if you want a good burger this is the place for you but be ready to either accept an order that may be incorrect or be ready to try something new. read more

Definitely less than I was expecting, whenever you order a burger from a restaurant you expect to be able to taste the meat on the sandwich! On this sandwich the burger was pressed so thin all you could taste was bread, next were the fries. Yes I am aware fries are made from frozen but once cooked in the fryer they should not taste frozen still. The best thing about this establishment was the milk shake. I actually love Culver's burgers, however the manager is the absolute worst (I believe her name is Jennifer). She's a thief, incompetent, rude, and a liar to say the least. She kept a card, overcharged it, and refused to give a refund - it was not a mistake (which would have been ok because everyone makes those) it was the way she reacted and how poorly she handled the situation, to the extent that police needed to be involved and the refund was ultimately given because she was wrong the entire time. If I was the franchise owner, I would fire her immediately for the terrible image she presents and the shameful person that she is. I hope this receives proper attention because that type of unprofessional behavior should be unacceptable in any and all establishments. I will never be going back there. read more

My burger tasted great it's rich tasting but it was overly greasy and my bread was very burnt! Ordered food online as instructed (I was told they do not take telephone orders). I parked in the "Curbside" pickup area and notified restaurant that I had arrived via online link. I waited 15' without any food being brought out to the car. I went inside (defeats curbside pickup) and asked about my order. The order had been ready the entire time; however, the counter workers never brought it out. Needless to say the meal was not hot and the fries were soggy. Unfortunately a poor experience. The first thing that comes to mind on my visit today was the word "wow". I have been here a couple times over the month of June, and the managers they had were pretty bad, but today one of their managers who had been off work for a bit came in. I had never seen him before since I only started going a month ago, but today it was a different environment. Everything was cleaned, none of the employees were sitting on their phones, and the food was AMAZING! We took our number and told the order taker we would sit outside. 30 minutes later I asked one of the car delivery people what was taking so long. I was told that the kitchen was backed up. I am giving this place one star because the service is downright awful. Nicole (the cashier) gave us a table marker. My child was flipping the table marker upside down, and Nicole asked her not to touch it because they just got new ones she said. She had a very unprofessional attitude and shouldn't be in the service industry. There were gnats all over the wall where we were sitting. I would suggest a deep cleaning. My child received ice cream as part of her kids meal. We went up to order the ice cream, the cashier gave us a new table marker, and we waited 15 or 20 minutes and went back up to the counter. When we got there, we waited some more before they gave us her melted order. Sadly, my food was really good. My daughter's cheeseburger was burnt. Shout out to Shaq for exceptional customer service. Came here with my husband and senior mom. Shaq took our order and asked us if we were eligible for any discounts (senior discount-yup). He checked up on us and also offered to bring us water when Mom began coughing when something went down the wrong way. (Once again, much appreciated.) As we left, he held the door open for us. (Any mother would be proud!) Just a sweet guy who took extra care with customers. I don't expect that in the fast food industry, but it meant a lot. Thanks Shaq. PS. Awful. We were excited since we heard they have walleye (a fish we don't generally get in this area) and they do. So we ordered the Walleye dinner. When it was brought to our table by a very surly young man who obviously didn't want to be there, there was no plastic wear and no coleslaw. Then we looked into the plate and there was a good quarter inch of oil in the plate! It was gross and even in the portion of the plate with the french fries. It took a handful of napkins to soak up the grease and drain it off of the fish before it could be eaten. Everything was hot except the side of onion rings which were slightly warm. We were with friends who ordered right after us. Their food was not delivered until we were almost done eating...they weren't given an umber and checked back twice, their food finally arrived (also without coleslaw until they asked for it) everything was cold. We did have ice cream (frozen custard) and it was very good. This was our third visit and this location has always been disorganized and orders wrong we probably won't go back except for the custard. read more

Sorry Culver's but on Wed, 6/26 I made a special trip over from beach side just for a concrete mixer. BTW I love that make!! Today though I was disappointed. Vanilla CM with peanut butter cup pieces was served half melted and PB cup pieces were huge. Looking back I believe it was made and sat on the counter for a little bit before someone noticed and saw me sitting at the drive through. The server opened the window and asked me if I'd been checked out yet and I hadn't so he took my money and immediately handed over my CM. I have only had CMs twice at the Inverness store on the Florida West Coast and both times they were basically frozen solid (hence the concrete) and PB cup pieces were chopped up nicely throughout. May try Viera again and order inside so I can watch. Otherwise if there is something wrong with the frozen custard or mixer machines I will definitely decline the order. read more
