The Chick-fil-A on Fulton Street is one of the more interesting locations I've been to, mostly because you don't expect to find a rooftop terrace sitting above a Chick-fil-A in the middle of the Financial District. The food is what you expect from the brand. I usually keep it simple with a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and waffle fries. Quick, familiar, and an easy option when I'm downtown and don't want to spend a lot of time figuring out where to eat. What makes this location stand out for me is the space. It's a busy NYC location, but being able to take your food upstairs and sit outside on the rooftop makes it feel completely different from your typical fast-food stop. It's especially nice when the weather is good and you want somewhere to sit for a few minutes instead of immediately heading back out onto Fulton Street. The staff is generally friendly and they do a pretty good job of moving people through considering how busy this area gets. During lunch, though, expect crowds and finding a seat can take a little patience. The location is also incredibly convenient, right in the Financial District near Fulton Center and within walking distance of the World Trade Center area. Overall, a good Chick-fil-A made more memorable by the rooftop terrace. If I'm already downtown and want something quick and dependable, I'd stop in again. read more

Did not know the milk bottle had an aluminum seal until I opened it. I thought the cap was broken because it was loose and did not crack or separate from the other piece when I opened it. I got a kids meal and the toy is very educational and not really kid like for my 2 year old toddler daughter. The first time I got a kids meal, it came with a toy that is all about matchmaking. Then the next time the toy was about coloring, connecting the dots, and answering the blank questions. These toys are very educational. I wish the toys were more fun and cooler. Not so educational. The fries here never upset and fail me. I love their sriracha sauce and chick fil a sauce! It goes so well with the waffle fries! The waffle fries taste so good with that sauce! Spicy and sweet! Decided to go for salad today and chick fil a did not disappoint!! I ordered for pickup and it was ready by the time I got to the restaurant. The staff there is really nice and I was in and out in 2 minutes. The service here is usually pretty fast even during the rush hour lunch time. I haven't ate inside yet as I always took it to go but it does like spacious. As for the salad, there were plentiful amount of chicken bacon and egg. The nuggets are small (and come with two dips) and they are really good although very fried. The service is efficient and the upstairs seating at Fulton was clean and spacious with big windows. Located in the financial district, I always order carry out and the wait is always quick. So far never longer than 5 min since I click "I'm here". If you want to dine in, the place looks spacious and clean with ample seating upstairs. Haven't really had chick fil a before but pleasantly surprised each time. Had the brownies and it was warm, not too sweet yet still indulgent. The waffle fries was also really warm when i got it and great ratio of crunch to potato. It was really satisfying for me. I want to start by saying that Dio was a very polite and respectful young man while taking my order. However, it seemed like my order still wasn't entered correctly, and several items I wanted were unavailable. To make matters worse, Frank handed me the wrong bag, so I didn't receive the correct order. Then my coffee had to be remade four times before it was finally right. Overall, it was a frustrating experience with multiple mistakes that made the visit much longer than it should have been. I hope the team can improve communication and accuracy, because this location has the potential to provide much better service. After visiting this location several times, I honestly don't see the purpose of keeping it open. It feels like a limited version of Chick-fil-A, and it's disappointing. The menu is very restricted, so customers don't have the same options they're used to, including being able to customize items like removing pickles. One of Chick-fil-A's signature items is its waffle fries, and this location doesn't even serve them. The food also seemed prepackaged rather than fresh, which wasn't the quality I expected. To make matters worse, the prices are surprisingly high around $4 for a soda or even a bottled water is hard to justify. I've also noticed many customers leaving this location and walking to the Fulton Street restaurant because it offers a full menu and a much better experience. It makes me question whether this location is really serving customers' needs, I work in the mall so I see it happening everyday , people heading over to Fulton street. I also feel for the delivery staff who have to carry bags back and forth in the heat. I hope they're being treated fairly for the extra effort. I hope the owner Luke and management either expand this location to offer the full Chick-fil-A experience or reconsider whether it makes sense to keep it open in its current form! Tried the breakfast burrito meal this morning. I might have to abandon my habit of skipping breakfast (intermittent fasting) from now on. The question is: what's better, the chicken or the egg in the breakfast burrito? I ordered on the app the breakfast burrito with egg and grilled chicken and hash browns. There are crunchy bits of hash browns in the burrito. Very satisfying with ketchup and hot sauce. They left out the salsa but it could be my fault because I asked for hot sauce and ketchup online and you can max out the number of sauces. Still delicious. This location so far is one of the least impressive spots to me. I feel like overall, it is not like 42nd Grand Central because they do not handle crowds with such ease. Plenty of times here at Fulton Street, crowds are redic, redic but to be fair a lot of friends I know that work in that area do not like the average food choices around in this area in general. Chick Fil A does serve its purpose in that area to get a quick bite. Milkshakes in general are something you should get here. Salads are an option as well if you do not want the traditional chicken sandwich or spicy chicken sandwich. The place is huge, there is even a rooftop area which I have yet to see. This is a first for me. I've heard of chick-fil-A mainly because they have been in the news for being racist and homophobic. Later, I found out that people really like their sandwiches and decided to give then a try, inspite of their corporate beliefs. I came during lunch time, so of course there was a bit of a long line. Surprisingly it moved pretty quick. I ordered a deluxe sandwich and in less than a minute a guy was calling my name. Staff is super friendly and there's even a guy at the entrance who opens the door for you. I Love their condiments station, especially their ketchup. Place looked very clean too. If you used their mobile app, it will give you a code to enter into the check-in tablet in the pick-up area. Once your food is ready, an employee will bring out your food and call out your name. The food is always delicious. This location seemed to be very busy and a little unorganized during a lunch rush. I came on a Saturday afternoon around 4ish and to my surprise the line was almost hitting the door. No biggie, it's chick fil a. It's to be expected. There was employees coming to the line to take orders, which i assumed would make the line run quicker. surprisingly, it did not. As i waited in line for what seemed like forever, when i finally got to the register, she asked my name, which i told her, and she went to grab my order. After waiting at the register for what seemed like an eternity, my food was placed down, and the cashier ran off again to grab my drink. While my food sat by the wet ice that one of the employees just finished spilling all over the place while trying to refill ice bins. Neither that employee nor my cashier attempted to move my bag of food away from the ice that was now causing a puddle under and around my paper take away bag. The cashier finally came back after 5 mins to inform me that they were out of sweet tea for my half and half. Annoyed already, i asked for just lemonade, which took another 5 mins. The entire time employees are speaking amongst themselves laughing and paying little to no attention to the customer. (The joys of living in nyc) this location used to be better. The service needs to improve. Especially during a busy time like lunch rush. Also, it would be nice for everyone to get on the same page because i really wanted that half and half. Another great Chick-fil-A store that has fast service and great employees despite the crowd of people. Whether you order for pick up or order in-store, you get your food relatively quickly and at a warm temperature. Their customer service is superb. The male staff doing the pickup orders is super friendly and all smiles. Definitely makes the experience and the wait more enjoyable. read more
