I happen to see this spot and thought it looked interesting so we decided to go in and check it out , after looking at the menu we ended up order the cheeseburger grilled cheese as well as the Asian chicken sandwich. Now starting with the Cheeseburger melt it was good but my only complaint is the burger should be bigger or made square so there isn't so much bread around the burger but it did taste good. Needed to take my daughter chicken while she is inpatient at the hospital. Did not feel like cooking so she suggested Melt which was enroute to the hospital. I'm still thinking about this honey mustard bacon tender wrap. It was so delicious and pretty large for the price ($11). I have been coming to this location for years. The best thing they serve is the chicken fingers. I have been saying they are the best I have ever had. However, the last two times I have had it (this week and last week), the chicken itself is not the same. It is just kinda dry, where in the past it is usually juicy and tender. So juicy and tender, you can eat it cold left over from the fridge and it is good. I hope this is an aberration, but I have a feeling they lowered the quality of the chicken they are buying. Grilled cheese and fried chicken sounds like a great comfort food pairing if you ask me. I chose Melt Shop to cater a work lunch for about 10 people. I liked that they offer several combo meals. For example, you have the option to order one of their classic melts, a chicken sandwich or 3 tenders each with Chips and a cookie. They also have a la carte options. For our lunch, we ordered one order of classic chicken sandwiches (each order comes with ten sandwiches), 1 tray of chicken tenders, 2 orders of fries and chocolate chip cookies. This was more than enough to feed our group. The order arrived on time and was still warm when we received it. Overall, the price was pretty reasonable too on a per person basis. Compared to other chicken sandwiches I had, I thought this one was good. The chicken patty was a nice size and it was crispy. The bun was also toasted, which I liked, and the sandwich came with pickles and Mayo. It wasn't at the top of my list but certainly a nice local option. The fries weren't as crispy as I'd like but I would still order from here again.
