Have not been here in years since the Palm Harbor location is closer to our home. But today we were driving past on our way to Tampa, and we wanted lunch. We both got the chicken strips, but I got the fruit cup on the side and Husband got fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was also exemplary. The place is quieter than most restaurants. The booths, tables and chairs are sanitized regularly so everything is fresh and clean. Music plays softly in the distance. Us- we did, we got a combo with large fries and a coke,. Reply-no you upgraded to mac n cheese. us- no we added mac n cheese. Ok we order large fries can we get them. reply-you didn't pay for fries. us- this is the point that you acknowledge your mistake say you apologize and hand us some fries. reply- you'll have to pay full price for the fries. us- we don't feel this is right, we've paid an upcharge for mac n cheese when we didn't ask for it that way and now you want us to pay full price for fries too? How about we just refund the whole order and take it back and we eat somewhere else? And to my amazement they said ok hand it back. (this has been all Andrea's customer service wits at this point but here came Alex to her rescue.) Alex chimed in that it was time for us to leave. Couldn't believe my ears. This is someone that Chick fil a has administering customer service. I believe his exact words were "you can leave now" wow. not the Chick fil a I've patronized hundreds of times over the YEARS. This is my third time in a couple weeks eating at this Chick-fil-A location. So far, my order has always been correct. Today, I did only receive one barbecue sauce for 20 nuggets which was frustrating because I had to go back up to the counter. I don't think that's enough to ding them. Just popped in for a quick lunch while running chores. One person at register, he was pretty slow but friendly. Very unusual for a Chic Fil A, but there was only myself and another couple dining in and yet every single table was dirty. When I asked a worker for something to wipe my table, she handed me a wipe then offered to wipe it for me. I'm fine doing it, but also let her know there wasn't a single clean table. Rather than grabbing a cloth and cleaning the dirty tables she just went back to what she was going. Just seemed odd. I worry about the cleanliness behind the scenes now. Y'all I love me some CFA but even though this location is closest to me, I'd rather drive to the Countryside location. The Oldsmar location lacks the "CFA way," the service is not strong, they often get orders wrong, the customer service lacks, and they don't seem to care.... It's not bad compared to other fast food restaurants, it's just not comparable to CFA standards. I cannot count how many times I've ordered a Diet Coke, left the drive thru taken a sip and it's a Coke. Yuck! I grew up in Atlanta, my grandparents were close personal friends of the Cathy's, my adult children worked at CFA both over 3 years.... This location makes me cringe. Recently, in the drive-through, they gave me the wrong order. I circled back around and instead of getting in line I hollered at the boy who took my order saying that I got the wrong order. He should have run in and switch it out for me, instead he told me I had to park and go in. I explained that I could not because I had my dog in the car. He told me that's the only way I could get the right food. That's not Chick-fil-A customer service! I explained again, I cannot leave my dog in the car in 94° and he said again that's the only way you're going to get your food. I was baffled! So I kept circling around until I got to the pick up window. After the car beside me picked up their food, I hollered to the girl handing out food telling her I got my wrong order, she knew immediately the mistake she had made with me, apologized and asked me to pull forward and park and she would bring out the right food. I love Chick-fil-A and unfortunately this location is the one that is closest to my home. I wish it were any other Chick-fil-A in the area because this location repeatedly manages to mess up my order in many ways. Tonight they miscounted my nuggets and didn't include one of the fries I paid for. it is really frustrating that my chicken nuggets can't be properly counted for and food and sauces are almost always missing from the bag. It's more often that things are wrong than correct at this location. I also work late nights and when I get off, Chick-fil-A is a place I can pick up food on my way home that's semi healthy. This would be convenient although, this Chick-fil-A location never has any of the side options available late at night because they end up either not making anymore for the rest of the night or throw it out because they wanna close early. They are frequently rude and are ticked off if you come in within the hour of them closing. Their attitude, service, and available menu items reflect the how poorly run this location is. This appears to be the only Chick-fil-A in the country that consistently gets orders wrong. On my first visit, I requested grilled nuggets but was served fried ones. Hoping for a better experience, I returned this evening only to be disappointed once more. I ordered a Southwest Salad and received a Market Salad with the Southwest Salad's toppings and dressing. Don't be put off by the long line of cars, they are incredibly efficient. My husband and son love chick-fil-a. I'm a fan too, but never a big enough one to drive to pick it up. The closest chick-fil-a is about a 15 minute drive, which is about 10 minutes too long for me to get fast food. My husband called the other day and asked if I wanted anything because, like always, him and the toddler were picking up chick-fil-a. I asked for a small, vanilla iced coffee not thinking much of it. Yes, they have coffee. This was surprising to almost everyone I spoke with. Fast forward and after eating most of my son's fries and chicken nuggets (which is why I never have to order anything), I was drinking my iced coffee and realized it was delicious. They have it without the vanilla flavor, but I really liked the added spin. It's a bit more expensive (like $1) than other fast food coffee, but I think it is worth it. The next day I was craving this coffee so I decided that I would drive myself to get it. It was 2:30 p.m. so who is getting food then anyways? Apparently the world. Ok, I exaggerate, but the line of cars was wrapped twice around the building. I called my husband, enraged, that he didn't warn me that the line would be so long. I just drove 15 minutes to sit in a line to get an iced coffee? My husband assured me that the line actually moves really quickly. There were two people walking down the line taking orders. One was taking payment and the other you paid when you got closer. There were also people walking to deliver the orders to cars. It was incredible to see. I love organization and efficiency and this was really impressive. I go to Dunkin Donuts where there are four cars in front and it probably takes longer than it took to make it fifteen cars deep. Don't be deterred by the long line. The only reason I'm docking a star is the second coffee was a lot weaker than the first one. It tasted a bit watered down. I'm glad or else I'd be driving 15 minutes for iced coffee. read more

Stopped by for nuggets and fries on 3/27/23 and couldn't have been more disappointed. It seems like most of the chick-fil-a franchises have given up on providing quality food. This was the LAST straw for us, after several really bad food services over the past several months. Our nuggets were extremely thin and overcooked, almost like chicken chips. Virtually zero meaty nuggets, and anything close to a nugget was overcooked. We ordered 3 packs of nuggets and everything was sub-par. I would guess that CFA is cutting corners now to save money at the expense of giving the quality they used to be known for. Also ordered a large fries and the fry box was only filled 1/2 way. Unbelievable. Also, when we pulled into the drive through lane there were 6 employees just chatting, while the car in front of us was ordering the 5 other employees chatted and took their time to finally get to us. During this pandemic we've been so worried about really eating anywhere but home. We decided to see what system the Oldsmar Chick-fil-A had in place after a few weeks and we were immediately feeling a lot better about eating out. Every staff member is wearing gloves, they have masks on, they have a contact-less pay system and pick-up system. Ever since we allow ourselves a once-a-week treat to eat out from Chick-fil-A and have even grabbed a couple gallons of tea. We've driven around a seen what some of the other restaurants had to offer and it just did not seem as clean or mindful of our current situation. Regardless of the pandemic, the food is also always consistently good. We like to call it real food fast because you don't feel like you are eating fast food because it is somewhat healthy! The chicken is always tender and juicy, waffle fries crisp and DON'T get me started on that sweet delicious tea. I'm pretty sure Chick-fil-A sweet tea has become my life blood. Stopped in last night after a long day of travel. The first thing I noticed was that the entrance looked filthy. The sidewalk and front doors were not clean. My husband and I ordered two eight-count grilled nugget meals. One came with five nuggets, undiscovered until we got home of course. (The employee did specifically tell me that they ran out of small bowls, so the portions would look smaller, but contained the correct number of nuggets) while waiting, I was looking around the restaurant and noticed that the rest of it was dirty as well. Overflowing garbage cans, dirty counters, drinks dripped all over the credit card machine. The glass dividers between tables are gross as are the windows. I would hate to see the BOH if this is what the FOH looks like. read more

I can say with confidence because I always come here because it is the closest Chick-fil-A to me that even with the new additional lane this place is so slow compared to other chickfilas I have been to. It takes forever and they always forget something in my bad whether that be sauce or straws. My wife has been a diehard fan of Chick-fil-A for years. I've come to this franchise perhaps 3 times. I'm more of a Popeye's/Burger King kind of a chicken guy. Anyway, she suggested Chick-fil-A so here we came. She always orders the Tenders, but today we were told by the curbside ordertaker that "Corporate" had discontinued the regular Tenders. Only the Spicey Tenders were available Because she is so heat (spice) intolerant, she chose the grilled chicken sandwich, but she has great difficulty swallowing sandwiches (bread products). She was VERY disappointed but endured. I, on the other hand, ordered the Spicey Strips. We both enjoyed the extra crispy waffle potatoes & root beer. She disliked her sandwich mainly because her sites were set on Tenders, not a bland, basic grilled chicken sandwich. Now we come to the Spicey Strips. The chicken interior was tender w/ a light dusting of breading, but the heat was so intense as to totally mask the flavor of the chicken. Hell, if we're going to offer this, why not just substitute a small bottle of Crystal Hot Sauce. Customers wouldn't know the difference between biting into a flavorful piece of chicken breast meat or bologna. Such heat does nothing to enhance the flavor of the product. I love CFA and I normally go to the Countryside location as it's closer to me and they always get it right! Today I was in the area of the newly remodeled parking lot, Oldsmar location and Vanessa took our order. She was friendly but not paying attention at all and unknown to us she messed up taking our order. She never read it back to us either. Wrong size drink and missing a fry! Got to the window and when I questioned the drink size we were handed the young girl only offered to update the order after I had already paid. I did not want to hold up the line for that. I also had to ask her for straws and the CFA sauce that I told Vanessa we wanted. We drive off and realized we are missing a fry (not charged for) and no napkins to be found. I know all of this is not the CFA way. Get it together Oldsmar location. I will stick to the Countryside location where they do it the CFA way every time! read more

I just moved here and this is one of 3 Chick Fil A's near my house. The other two were good, but this one missed the mark. First, I noticed the drive thru line was a bit chaotic. I had to circle around a few times to get in the line because it was one continuous circle so if it was back up it ran right into the drive thru window making it impossible to get it. I have never seen that at a Chick Fil A. Next, I clearly ordered my usual meal and when I got to the window it was wrong. They were pretty quick in fixing the issue, but when I presented a possible fix so that it didn't happen again I was told I should always have them read back my order to make sure it's right. I believe that is their job not mine. I clearly ordered what I always do and they clearly got it wrong. Lastly, we got home and not only were there not crackers with my chicken soup, but the food didn't taste very well. I won't be returning to this location. I'll stick with the other two locations near my house. I've been to Chick locations all across the country and this ties the one in North Carolina for the worst I've been to. read more

We intended on visiting this Chick-fil-a for a quick drive-thru breakfast but alas, the juice box never made it into our bag, so we had to come inside. We were greeted pleasantly and given our precious juice box promptly upon explaining our misfortune. Then, there it was, like it was granted directly out of my toddlers dream journal, a play place! Now that she had come so far she would never leave having not known the joy of climbing around and sliding down this exciting new plastic paradise. Needless to say this place is kid friendly and the food is dependable (as long as you enjoy chicken). The coffee is just ok, but they do have a nice condiments area inside with flavored creamers, which was a pleasant surprise almost equal to my child's delight in this adventure. The play area also has some type of noise contains glass around it which is great for all the nonparenting patrons trying to enjoy their peaceful meal. read more

Chick-Fil-A is awesome. Unfortunately I don't get to go as much as I like, because it seems I crave it the most on Sundays, and every time I have to remind myself that they're closed. Usually it goes something like this: Christoph: Where would you like to go for lunch? Me: Mmm, I'd really like some chicken. How about Chick-Fil-A? It's close to home. We can grab it and come back. Christoph: Babe...-sighs- It's closed on Sundays. You do this every weekend. Apparently I have short-term memory loss when it comes to their schedule. During those times where I happen to crave their food any -other- day of the week, I am always satisfied. I've tried most of their food and have never had anything to complain about. And their service is top notch, too. One night I went when I was hugely pregnant and the cashier offered to carry my tray to the table for me. I was ever so grateful. Believe it or not, one of my favorite menu items is their sausage breakfast burrito. Ask for a salsa packet and you'll be good to go. The coffee that comes with the breakfast meal isn't that great, so I usually go for orange juice instead. As far as lunch, I'm a fan of the original Chick-Fil-A sandwich. Hand breaded chicken fried to golden perfection on a warm, fluffy bun... This sandwich makes all other wannabes hang their heads in shame. OH! And you haven't had the full experience til you get a hold of one of their milkshakes. I go for the strawberry milkshake every time. The thick, creamy sweetness of the ice cream and strawberries tastes more like a handcrafted shake than almost any other that I've had. We made the mistake of stopping at this restaurant. We ordered a #1 and a 8 pc. grilled chicken nugget with a power side salad. After waiting for 10 minutes (there was no one else in line) the cashier looked up and saw us not looking so happy. He walked over to the counter where our order had been sitting bagged and ready to go for awhile. He didn't apologize, but simply said, "Here's your order!" And that's not the worst of it! We got our food and left. Within a couple of hours of eating my husband's stomach started churning along with burping. We realized his order came with more than he bargained for--food poisoning. I have never been to such a slow, uncaring, unmotivated Chick-First-A in my life! After reading the other reviews, we wish we had read them before we ate here! I'm posting to hopefully encourage this franchise to live up to the standard the Chick-Fil-A company has established.
