September 1st, 2018 I walked into North Orange FSU (#01892) around 9:50 pm, I used my rewards to order a Grilled Chicken Sandwhich (calendar) and the 8 piece chicken nuggets (regular rewards). On the side ordered a drink and fries with my selected sauces. About 20 to 25 minutes had past and my friend that ordered after me, got his food first. I asked if my order was coming out or what was going on, my order had been giving to another person. I gave them my receipt so they could see my order and try to fix the issue. They said i would have to wait another 10 minutes to receive my order and i told them it was fine. While walking back an employee had the audacity to comment "This is what happens when you guys walk in late". After hearing that I just asked to cancel my order, just to find out I wouldn't be able to get my rewards back for later use. I did get my money back to the card but just wasted my rewards for no apparent reason . One of the employees named Franky was trying to fix my issue more than the manager on the floor that night. Overall extremely unsatisfied. Never has this happened to me in any other fast-food restaurant and that says a lot because this company is known for their outstanding service and politeness. I do understand that I walked in there on a Saturday night at 9:50 pm and knew i was late, when the closing time was 10:00 pm and they have to finish their closing procedures. Unfortunately we decided to go through the drive thru at Chick fila North Orange. We headed home without checking our order. I was extremely disappointed when I opened up my chicken biscuit and the biscuit was clearly over cooked and dry and the hashbrown container was closer to half way filled. Yes yelpers, you are right all along, as I thought you would be. I've always been intrigued by this place, not so much because it was fast food, but because of all the rave reviews of the place. Let me tell you, my curiosity and hunger were satisfied today when my father and I went to lunch here today. If there are any doubters out there, this place was able to compete with the In-N-Out that was right next to it, and gave them a run for who's the busier fast food place. Love the chicken sandwich, we got the crispy ones, but they serve a grilled version too, We got the deluxe version, which included lettuce, tomato and cheese. It's like the same shoe but it's shiny, with a bell, and a bow to top it off. We've been eating awful unhealthy food lately, so we opted for the coleslaw instead of the criss-cut fries. That was pretty damn good. I disagree with people who say the chicken wasn't anything special. The thing was tender, and juicy and crispy. The condiments were numerous and it was out for people to just take as they please. I liked the Honey BBQ sauce. That was like the sugar cube to my absinthe. There were many other things on the menu that I didn't get to try. My stomach is right on the level of my rib cage and thus, cannot expand bigger to the size of Takeru Kobayashi's, the hot dog eating champ. There's desserts, shakes, salads, other sauces, other side orders and mouthwatering breakfast items, that they only serve till 1030. The two things I have a gripe about this place: 1) They're closed on Sundays. Why? I asked someone there. If you wanna know the answer, go ask them and find out. You won't get it from me. Oh, and 2) they're closed at 10 PM, I think. How are you gonna compete with In-N-Out if you close at that time? Grrr. I reserve the 5th star till I taste more of your wares. They are ver polite, but always get my orders wrong. If I purchase salads they forget to add the dressings. If you order chicken nuggets they will forget the sauces. A classic Chicken Sandwich is simply divine, Waffle potato fries, not for sharing, they're mine! Lemonade from scratch so refreshing and cool, the thought of visiting makes me drool! Sadly, the Krispy Kreme that once stood here saw its demise when carbs become a diet faux pas a few years back. A Chick-fil-A was a worthy replacement to the dying donut brand and a welcome sight! Kind of disappointed. I'm starving and have to be at work by 7am. It's 6:20 and I decided to go to Chicfila and wait in the drive thru until 6:30 (which is when they open). Even though I could've gone to jack in the box or McDonald's, eaten sooner and gotten to work earlier, I decided to wait for Chicfila because it would be better. When I got my chicken biscuit, the filet was not crunchy and was rubbery. I'm sure the staff was annoyed that I was waiting in the drive thru until they opened but that's not cool. I love this place sooo much, I swear I would eat there everyday if it was reasonable. And this is coming from someone who prefers to avoid fast food in general. The location in Orange is the only one I have been to besides the one near South Coast (just once), and let me tell you, this one has INFINITELY better service. It's always a nice place to sit down and nom, and chances are you won't even have to get up to get your own refill. My go-to is the Deluxe Chicken sandwich with provolone and no pickles and an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. ALWAYS hits the spot. Fell in love the first time I saw that clean, bright green leaf lettuce. I've always said that this is the only fast food place where the food actually looks exactly as good and fresh in real life as it does on the posters and advertisements. Almost all of Chick fil-A's sandwiches (and entire menu, actually) are under 500 calories, and if you want an even healthier option, the Chargrilled Chicken sandwich is just 300 hundred calories. THREE HUNDRED. For a fast food restaurant, you really can't get any better than that. And honestly, if you haven't tried the waffle fries with polynesian sauce, do it, please. Now. "It's okay, honestly I didn't care for it" ...when I told my daughter what I thought about her beloved Chik-fil-A, her mouth dropped like I said something blasphemous. But it's true! The chicken nuggets were nothing special. Sorry Chik-fil-A fans. The nuggets l tried where good size white chicken meat dipped in batter. Texture was thick, but as far as taste, not much, just peppery. Dare I say it, like KFC's. The dipping sauces you had to request and they didn't taste any different from other fast food places either. Oh well so much for the food. This locations Chik-fil-A is pretty spacious and the place was spotless when we came. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. I have no regrets trying it. Well, um.... not sure... its just ok, sure.... yeah that's it. This was my first time here. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and 8 piece nuggets. The sandwich was pretty basic with no type of sauce whatsoever, and c'mon, everyone loves a little sauce ;) The nuggets were fairly wimpy and more soggy than crispy. For a fast food place that specializes in chicken and chicken only, the chicken was not that great. The restaurant was amazing aesthetically-speaking. Keep in mind I only went through the drive thru. Chick-fil-A was the perfect way to end my visit in Orange. Actually it would have been perfect any time any day. Don't associate this chain with fast food because their items are made with top-quality ingredients. I went with my usual Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich, which tasted like real meat rather than a fake compressed patty, and the waffle fries, which tasted like real potatoes. But a little-known secret is the lemonade. It's freshly squeezed everyday! I'm not sure why Chick-fil-A doesn't advertise this more. While many customers drive through, I like to take a moment and sit in the restaurant. The ambiance is quite relaxing - classy wall decorations, funny cow slogans, servers who pull out your chair for you and refill your drinks. Most of all, I've never seen servers in a "fast food" store smile so much. Trust me - smiles are hard to fake in the restaurant business. For moms, Chick-fil-A is a great option. I noticed several young mothers ordering relatively healthy kids' meals and then letting the kids play in the playground outside. There was even a hand-sanitizer dispenser by the door to make hygiene easy. Nice to see some new soups - I'll have to try those next time! read more

This is my favorite location by far (I guess that says a lot about me =/ ) Like other locations, the hospitality is on point but it seems like this one goes one step beyond if you will (one time I fucked up my own order and they gave me what I really wanted...no questions asked). I have brought many Chick Fil A Virgins here and they have all been amazed by the service and the quality of the food. The food is way awesome. I usually either get the nuggets or the spicy chicken sandwich with a chocolate shake. I will say this is the only location that gets my shake right when I ask them to "hold the whip cream and the cherry, please." They have been offering recently free "snacks" on mondays starting 6/1 like how they were doing free breakfast on fridays, however I do not know when this promotion ends. I admit it, I have a sog phobia. If anything is slightly damp or mushy (that should not be), I generally lose my appetite. On our way to LA the other day, we pulled into the drive-thru to grab a couple of sandwiches before we hit the road. As I always do, I ordered the Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich and asked for it to be "DRY." My simple request obviously confused the genius with the headset. She proceeded to ask me if "DRY" meant that I didn't want any lettuce or tomato. I explained to her that I didn't want any sauce, and that I wanted the sandwich "DRY." She repeated back to me again, and I quote, "our sandwiches aren't dry ma'am." I seriously had to hold back from strangling her through the window. My husband was then convinced that my "DRY" burger would be nice and damp from their spit. I think Chick-Fil-A should perhaps use their Sundays to have mandatory common-sense training. Holy crap! This was my first ever time in a Chick-fil-A! I was very pleasantly surprised. The obviously make an effort to dress up the place, with flowers on the tables and soft instrumental-only christian music playing. More, the location was very clean and spacious. One thing I didn't like about the physical space was the moving booths. For whatever reason, the booths are not affixed to the floor and slide around whenever you get up or move to suddenly...annoying and noisy. The food was what I understand is typically of the chain - very good chicken sandwiches (on nothing special buns which are kind of a waste of calories). I was also bummed that the packets of house ranch was just eh. But! I was very very very excited that they offer diet dr pepper on TAP!! Overall, what you come to this chair for - chicken and waffle fries - were on point. Bonus: this location mails out BOGO coupons! YUM! I can't believe it took us this long to try Chik-fil-A. We stopped in for lunch last week and noticed right away that the place was packed. Good sign! We were greeted by 2 people before we even made it to the counter and I noticed that the restaurant was really, really clean. Hubby and I both had the chicken salad sandwich, which was absolutely delicious! White meat chicken, chopped eggs, mayo and I think onion and/or celery on wheat bread with a perfect lettuce leaf and super red ripe tomato slices. He had a garden salad but I tried the cole slaw and did everything but lick the bowl clean after I was done, lol. It tasted like something that was made in my grandma's kitchen, not in a fast food restaurant. We went back for dinner tonight and got the same sandwiches, waffle fries and an order of chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce. Soooo good! We also brought a basic chicken sandwich home to the kid and he said it was delicious. The people working the drive thru were SO polite and friendly and our order was exactly right, except for a missed order of fries, but we noticed it before we drove away, so no problem there. This year has been a hard year for us in Southern California.... Disneyland raised their prices way beyond affordability, gas prices have fallen so I can no longer say that Starbucks is cheaper than gas, Kobe is retiring from the Lakers, and the El Niño has yet to come.... Yet we receive more bad news... The cashier Ryan will be leaving on Tuesday from this location. With almost 2 years of impeccable service, I have never know a fast food cashier as wonderful as Ryan. As you may know, I frequent fast foods quite frequently and you meet a lot of great people... Ryan was one of the best. I wish him the best at In-N-Out, which is conveniently across the street.
