The ambiance is great, very nice inside. Italian decor and gives you that restaurant feel when it's not a true restaurant. All windows have bushes so it gives you that privacy, including the patio. You order and pay first, then grab a table. There are bus staff which you can ask for utensils, boxes, etc. but you can also walk up and grab them yourselves. Olive oil has mixed herbs which is nice touch and focaccia bread is soft and chewy. Calamari is good but not crunchy, and provided with ranch and marinara sauce. The Spinach Ravioli with chicken was probably my favorite so far. It's not basked in oil nor is it too tough to chew. It's the perfect texture, and the chicken was seasoned well enough. The lasagna was loaded, hot, and had many layers of cheese between the pasta. Both of these pictures don't do justice to the actual amount of food that was packed into these bowls. I was also very lucky to have had a lot of bread which comes with the meal. The cashier and servers were very nice and are always generous with the oil for the bread and the cheese for the pastas. We normally go to the one on 17th and Tustin. We LOVE tutto and this location is a little closer to us. We sat outside and it was very clean and peaceful. Possible negative to sitting outside, we didn't get the normal bread and oil until we were served our food because no one saw us outside, but that was okay. We didn't mind, if you mind then maybe let them know you're going to be sitting outside. We ordered the turkey bacon sandwich that came with avocado, pesto, and I think mozzarella. It was delicious! I had a Caesar salad on the side. My options were salad, fries, or chips. My husband is kind of picky so he got the safe bet of chicken Alfredo with broccoli. He cleaned his plate. This is a review on holding any sort of event here. DONT. We reached out about reserving some space for 30-40 people for a celebration of life. We basically were told...sure...will have bread and water. But here's the rub...during our event we were told we needed to squish together so they could fit in another party. So our guests had to move so this other party could be accommodated. Mind you...some of their party wandering into our event and looking at our photos of our departed friend...really? So when Tutta Fresca said we could reserve a certain area for our celebration of life event they actually could not. There was no care or consideration but rather shove another party onto our area because I guess our guests weren't bringing in enough money? Here's the thing-I know businesses have to make a living but don't tell us you can accommodate us and then decide...oh sorry...you don't matter. Loved this spot for a late lunch! Very convenient you can order at the counter and sit anywhere, they have a drive thru as well. Starting with the free bread which was very soft and comes with balsamic/olive oil to dip. The tomato bisque is nice and a bit chunky. We ordered the chicken marsala and gnocchi al carne for our entrees. Both were super flavorful and satisfying portions. I do wish the sauce on the gnocchi was a bit thicker. What we ordered: -Gnocchi Al Carne: This was okay. The little meat there was was tender and sauce wasn't very flavorful, it just felt very oily. My personal favorite is the Chipotle Chicken Pasta. I can eat that everyday and never get sick of it, I swear. The chicken always comes out so perfect and the sauce isnt so thick that I will get full right away. The bread is also so soft in a way I haven't experienced before. It's fluffy! I had a solo dinner here recently because I was craving Tutto Fresco's lemon chicken piccata and tomato bisque soup. I tried this dish a few months ago with my best friend and he's heard me talk about it every day since, so I had to go back! Their lemon chicken piccata is divine. The chicken is seasoned perfectly, and every caper's placement seems intentional. 10/10 and underrated dish by far. Their tomato bisque was creamy, thicc in all the right places, and perfect for dipping house bread in. Now, onto the topic of their house bread specifically because it deserves its own special call-out. If Yelp had an option to search restaurants based on whether they offered free bread, Tutto Fresco would dominate that space. Their soft, yet crispy bread pairs incredibly with their olive oil and balsamic vinegar offering. A major perk of dining alone is lowkey not having to share your bread, LMAO.. I had so much leftover bread that I was able to bring some home to finish with my leftovers the next day. The staff were very polite and accommodating, making sure they visited my table frequently enough for me to feel comfortable, but not an excessive amount where it felt overwhelming. Went into Tutto fresco for an early dinner on Sunday. We noticed that the TV is that used to have the menu were no longer working. We had to get a paper menu and then order. We finished our order and got our drinks and sat down. The bread and vinegar and oil came right out. Our food followed shortly. The food here is always good and warm. The restaurant is always clean and the staff are always friendly. The bread with the oil and vinegar is really good 10/10. The pepperoni and sausage pizza is my go to with jalapeño added 10/10. The crust is not too thick and they use real cheese not like the fast food pizza chains (which I like but this is way better).The seafood Pescatore is a 10/10 says the wife. We came to Tutto Fresco to celebrate my hubby's birthday. There were 8 of us, we know it would be tough to get a large table. So we came at 11:30 am, to our surprise, they were not busy at all during lunch time! We were able to get a long table to fit 8 of us. We have to go up to the counter to order our food which was good for a large party, so everyone could pay for their own food. We ordered Pescatore Pasta, Sausage and Pepperoni pizza, Truffle Shrimp Pasta, Chicken Parmigiana, Pear and Prosciutto and Goat Cheese Salad, Antipasto Salad, Malone and Garlic Cheese Bread. Their portions are very generous. Everything we ordered were delicious, but the best of all was their Spumoni. This got to be the best Spumoni I ever had!!! Our server was very attentive and it was a really relaxing luncheon. Everyone enjoyed the luncheon! I would give it a Five star if they have any really creative and outstanding dishes. To start out with, the entrance was beautiful with vibrant yellow lights covering the trees. The server and the person working where you order were very nice. Very disappointing experience at Tutto Fresco. We planned a memorial dinner for a party of 35-40 on the patio Monday night. My co-planners had called various times and were unable to get a solid answer on whether or not we could get a reservation. I went into the restaurant on Saturday and spoke with the manager Daisy who looked through her book and stated they were able to accommodate our party on the larger patio. We arrived on Monday to set up for the memorial and observed several other parties look into the patio for a place to sit. I observed a lady in a blue jacket with long dark hair arrive shortly after we did and proceed with her party to the smaller patio on the other side of the entry way. People started arriving for our memorial and mingled about the large patio. A line was forming outside the door and every table in the dining room was full. Approximately 45 minutes after I had observed the lady in the blue jacket, a server approached us about a couple of empty tables on our patio. She stated that a larger party wanted the smaller patio and they were going to have to move a party of maybe 20-25 people on the patio with our memorial. The very minimal service staff proceeded to move the lady in the blue jackets party and their half eaten meals to our patio. As a former server I would never move an already served table all the way across the restaurant. It appears the goal is to get out as many plates as possible, the quality of experience is clearly not a priority. I hope the lady in the blue jacket also complains. To have her entire party upended and dragged across the restaurant is not proper restaurant etiquette by any means. When the manager tells me the maximum on the patio Is 42 and you add an addition 20 to our 30+ that seems like a little bit of a hazard. Not to mention every seat in the restaurant filled, the back door block by a customers seat and a line out the door to the parking lot. The restaurant was so full that the servers had to walk out into the larger patio, cross the line of waiting patrons just to get to the smaller patio. I'm sure I will receive a message from the manager stating they will use this feedback to better their service for large parties, but if you haven't figured out how to properly manage a restaurant since 1991, I don't think there's any hope of figuring it out now. read more
