Let me tell you, getting seated was a mess, the high chair took forever, and asking for plates and utensils felt like filing a formal request. Not sure what we tipped for but here we are. Indoor decor gives nonna's house which is cute. Outdoor patio is nice but the flies are a little out of control. You've been warned! Food is good but not great. Skip the spinach dip, calamari, and desserts. Cajun seafood pasta had more seafood than pasta which is honestly a win, pescatore was great value, lobster ravioli was decent. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather under the fire bistro lights. You walk up and order at the counter then find a table. We were able to call ahead and reserve our table for our party of 8. Which was perfect! The hostess was so sweet and kind! The food was so delicious! A great spot to get a good meal that's not too expensive. The spinach artichoke dip is definitely a must when you go! The ambiance is great, very nice inside. Italian decor and gives you that restaurant feel when it's not a true restaurant. All windows have bushes so it gives you that privacy, including the patio. You order and pay first, then grab a table. There are bus staff which you can ask for utensils, boxes, etc. but you can also walk up and grab them yourselves. Olive oil has mixed herbs which is nice touch and focaccia bread is soft and chewy. Calamari is good but not crunchy, and provided with ranch and marinara sauce. Loved this spot for a late lunch! Very convenient you can order at the counter and sit anywhere, they have a drive thru as well. Starting with the free bread which was very soft and comes with balsamic/olive oil to dip. The tomato bisque is nice and a bit chunky. DINE-IN: My visit reflects a dine-in experience. I visited around 6 pm on a Friday, and we definitely beat the rush because soon after, there were a ton of folks behind us. This place seems like the spot to visit with a group because you order, pay, and find your seat. This takes out the whole, someone pay and we Venmo that one person ordeal. I ordered mozzarella sticks for the table and a pepperoni pizza. My friend had the Cajun chicken pasta. Pizza was good and it's a personal size, but I definitely had leftover. The mozzarella sticks were okay and my friend thought her pasta was just okay. The bread they give you when you sit down comes with olive oil and vinegar, and it was pretty good. I think it's moderately priced but the people seem to love it because I'm telling you that place was PACKED! I would like to say this place is a hidden gem.....but everyone knows about it as they should! The service is amazing. It's fast casual dining with a drive thru. The lasagna was loaded, hot, and had many layers of cheese between the pasta. Both of these pictures don't do justice to the actual amount of food that was packed into these bowls. What we ordered: -Gnocchi Al Carne: This was okay. The little meat there was was tender and sauce wasn't very flavorful, it just felt very oily. Gnocchi also felt very rubbery, like the ones you get from the grocery. 3/5 -Fontaine: Very oily as well. A little bit more flavorful than the gnocchi. We normally go to the one on 17th and Tustin. We LOVE tutto and this location is a little closer to us. We sat outside and it was very clean and peaceful. Possible negative to sitting outside, we didn't get the normal bread and oil until we were served our food because no one saw us outside, but that was okay. We didn't mind, if you mind then maybe let them know you're going to be sitting outside. We ordered the turkey bacon sandwich that came with avocado, pesto, and I think mozzarella. It was delicious! I had a solo dinner here recently because I was craving Tutto Fresco's lemon chicken piccata and tomato bisque soup. I tried this dish a few months ago with my best friend and he's heard me talk about it every day since, so I had to go back! Their lemon chicken piccata is divine. Thls dish truly puts the angel in angel hair, and I can't help but sing its praises. The chicken is seasoned perfectly, and every caper's placement seems intentional. 10/10 and underrated dish by far. Their tomato bisque was creamy, thicc in all the right places, and perfect for dipping house bread in. Now, onto the topic of their house bread specifically because it deserves its own special call-out. If Yelp had an option to search restaurants based on whether they offered free bread, Tutto Fresco would dominate that space. Their soft, yet crispy bread pairs incredibly with their olive oil and balsamic vinegar offering. A major perk of dining alone is lowkey not having to share your bread, LMAO.. I had so much leftover bread that I was able to bring some home to finish with my leftovers the next day. The staff were very polite and accommodating, making sure they visited my table frequently enough for me to feel comfortable, but not an excessive amount where it felt overwhelming. Their restaurant absolutely has a strong family ambiance and I felt like I was having dinner at an Italian relative's house (lol). They also have a drive-through window for takeout orders, which is an interesting offering for pasta. I've never used it, but can see it being convenient for quick lunch orders if I lived closer. They can accommodate large parties, both inside and outside. Just an internal "heads up" - there is an option to leave a tip at the register. Also, at the end of your meal, you get another chance. I usually split the tip - 10% at the register and 10% at the end of the meal. The usual process is for the waiter to leave a small tray with Mint Chocolates. The ingredients tasted very fresh and they also brought some desserts which looked delicious but I did not partake. We ordered at the counter inquired about what drinks were on happy hour. As listed above the drinks happy hour is Monday-Friday 5-7. The cashier told us happy hour did not happen on Friday. I referenced the sign and then she changed her excuse and said it ran from 3-6pm. When I again referenced the sign she acted dumb and went and asked two other people when happy hour occurred and no one could answer. After stating I would not order a drink we ordered our food. She then changed her tune and said she would give us happy hour pricing. Well she charged my husband full price on his beer and only gave my drink a discount. She then proceeded to try to convince us that no one has ever referenced that happy hour time on the sign since they open. I find that very hard to believe. Needless to say it did not start out our first experience of the restaurant on a high note. Hoping that the food would redeem the experience it did not.
