I've come to this location off and on over the years. The experience has always been suitable. The customer service is typically top notch, and the food always has consistent flavor. On this particular occasion however, my meal didn't taste fresh at all. I'd venture as far as to say it tasted like it had been microwaved, or sitting under a heat lamp for too long. I get the same dish every single time - Tour of Italy, and breaded shrimp or calamari, so I'm familiar with what taste I'd expect. I occasionally venture out to other Olive Garden locations too where I never note the poor quality I experienced during this dining venture. I wasn't the only one to share my lack of quality opinion. The company I was with sampled some of my dish and felt it tasted "old". On another note, the salad and breadsticks were enjoyable. And the breaded shrimp and peppers plate also followed suit. I did present to this location for a late lunch, but early dinner (3:30/4 pm); so it's very plausible I just hit an awkward time window where things weren't as fresh as they typically are. read more

Olive Garden is always satisfying when you want a bunch of carbs. In terms of chain restaurants, they have good pasta with generous sizes. Life changing? Nah. But it is satisfying. If you're prone to Chicken Ick, the chicken here may wig you out a bit. I had a hard time finishing mine because the texture felt soft, very similar to how frozen chicken is if you cook it at a high heat. Our server was nice, but we were checked on way too frequently. Every five minutes, we had someone checking on us. I felt like I was giving more attention to the employees than my friends. The energy seemed rushed. Another server was bringing our food, and a manager came over and rudely cut her off to ask how our speed of service was. Which explains why everything felt rushed. The restaurant wasn't busy, so it came across as pushy and rude. Long story short, servers were great, managers came across as rude. ALSO The sangria states on the menu it serves four, and the three of us demolished it easily. We argued we each could have had our own pitcher. Highly recommend the berry sangria. read more

So, I've gone to this location a few times this year and it's been a good dining experience each time. The servers are usually very attentive and the restaurant space is well-maintained. It's located in the Village Mall center so, there's ample parking, too. The food tastes great! Recently, I did a Create Your Own pasta with the rigatoni in a mushroom cream sauce with broccoli or Italian sausage. The salad and breadsticks are also the best as I'm sure you're familiar. However, I have to mention, Landen was unbelievable at waiting on our table. He must have asked us at least 10 times during our dinner if we needed refills on anything, how is everything tasting, can I get you anything else, etc. Dude had the biggest most genuine smile the entire time too. At some point I even joked saying: "dude, clearly you're looking for a promotion! You're insanely good at this!" And he laughed and said something along the lines of "Just doing my job." I come to this location about once a month, and overall am pretty pleased with the experience. The best aspect of this restaurant is the service. Whoever hires and trains the waitstaff is doing a great job. These kids are courteous, attentive and accommodating. Couldn't ask for more. The food is consistent, always a good meal with their unlimited breadsticks and soup or salad. If I am having soup, the pasta fagioli is my go to dish. For entrees, chicken parmigiana and the "build your own pastas" are my favorites. My one complaint is that many times the coffee is warm, not hot. I definitely prefer a hot cup of coffee during and after a meal. read more

The hostess, Gen, at the front should be aware that customers can still see and hear what is happening, even when staff members step around the corner. Her body language, including eye rolling, and comments about customers were both visible and audible. Returning to the podium and having a younger employee respond to us did not change the situation. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and we will not be returning to this location. Is this why this location never has a wait, and Santa Ana does? I always come to this Olive Garden because it's close to my house. This day I came after work and I used their handy dandy app to order my food to be picked up curbside. I drove to the restaurant and waited in my car. I was approached by one of the employees and she stated that the restaurant had lost power and that they had just regained power so the food was not going to be ready at the promised time. I told her that was okay. I then called the restaurant and asked if I could get something complimentary for my inconvenience. The manager offered me a free soda. The food came out about 10 minutes later so it wasn't much of a wait at all. I drove home. Grab the Olive Garden paper bag and guess what? The soup had seeped through the bag and the bag gave out with all my food flying to my garage floor. The soup wasn't packed well. Thankfully the other food items were perfectly fine. The soup was splattered all over my garage. I took the food into the house and called Olive Garden. I spoke to the manager again and told him what happened. He asked, "how can I make this right for you? " I told him I just only wanted to replace my soup. He said he would send me a gift card via email. He did just that. I appreciate him keeping his word and being willing to rectify the issue. 5 stars for the manager in how he handled the situation. We are going to another Italian restaurant and it was packed so grandkids wanted to go to Olive Garden. We were seated pretty quick as we were a party of five. This was on a Thursday night and it was pretty crowded. Our server was Kevin and he was very attentive made sure we have water, soda, more bread, etc. On the menu, they have smaller portions. Since we didn't want leftovers, this worked out for four of us as the younger one had a kids menu. I had an Italian margarita and it was pretty good. Three of the group got spaghetti and meatballs, I got chicken, parmigiana, and the youngest got pasta with shrimp and grapes.
