The flavors were good, but the bowl wasn't filled all the way, so I felt a little skimped on the portion, especially for the price. Wouldn't order it again. Now, the real reason I'm writing this review: the horchata. It is hands down the best non-dairy, vegan horchata I've ever had. The ones at places like Gracias Madre and Borreguitas are more watery. This one has that perfect creamy consistency I crave when I think of horchata. If they could just boost the cinnamon flavor a bit more, it would be absolute perfection. It's really more of a handful of raw tuna, cucumbers, and furikake on plain rice. I did like that they have the sauce on the side which is great if you have an allergy. I typically absolutely LOVE Green Tomato Grill, it's one of my favorite healthy food places to eat, the service is wonderful and everyone is so nice, and I love all of the plants around the place. My favorite Wrap is the Crispy tofu ranch wrap - it is THE BEST I just tried the Matcha Latte though, and it is NOT my cup of tea... I think GTG should choose ONE of the milks that are in it (Oat milk, Almond milk, OR Coconut milk) NOT all three. The combination of the three milks just makes it a bit funky tasting. They came in just a few minutes later, but I was told they had to be physically present at the exact moment I ordered, which felt unreasonable given they were literally walking in. If your looking for a healthy choice then I would recommend this place. I had the salmon fish tacos, teriyaki ginger bowl. Although very tasty the fish was not very fresh. Had allot of cabbage and toppings which took away from the salmon but the overall taste was quite nice. The teriyaki was good but I would have liked to see chicken breast instead of thigh. The staff were friendly and the restaurant looked clean. I did see a staff member come out of the kitchen wearing gloves and answer the phone with the gloves on, then head back into the kitchen. You have to love the crushed ice you get for the drinks. Not many places serve crushed ice and this was a nice treat with the fresh watermelon tea.
