Everything tasted great, and the service was friendly from start to finish. As someone with celiac disease, eating out can be stressful, but I appreciated that there were plenty of gluten-free options available. They have so much variety of wraps, salads, burgers and bowls of high quality ingredients and at incredible prices. Service was super fast we ordered inside at the counter. Got our food super fast even though they had a lot of online orders and people inside. Ambiance was simple and relaxed like a fast food place. You can also order through uber eats, price a little bit higher but still super reasonable. We ordered to eat in the Hawaiian Ahi Poke and to go the Caesar Salad with Chicken. Bowls are big! I was craving something light and healthy. So, I did a quick search via Yelp for a salad spot and immediately drooled over the salads at Green Tomato Grill! Arrived around lunch time at 12:30pm and was immediately hit with how good it smelled in here. It could have partially been because I was super hungry, but either way I was ready for something yummy. This is your standard fast casual spot. You order up front, grab a number, and the crew drops it off for you. Simple enough. I will say though, the team here were incredibly kind and pleasant. Always smiling and definitely made me feel welcome. From the cashier to the person who dropped my food, everyone was super sweet. I'm a huge lover of customer service, and that's the kind of thing that'll keep me coming back. Food was great! I ordered the Miso salad and it was delicious. Fresh spring mix with chicken and other fixings. Since it was my first time at Green Tomato Grill, I was offered a free side and chose the tomato soup. I have a laundry list of allergies and even when a place is gluten and dairy free it is hard to find a place that will accommodate my other allergies like sunflower, soy, fish and the list goes on and on. Carly walked me through the menu and helped me choose things that were safe while also getting just as excited as me when we realized how much I could have! Carly, Brandon, and Jenna deserve a raise and promotion! They are so customer service oriented and handled our large group with ease and got all our food out together while also making sure everything was perfect! I will return just because of the customer service, let alone the food, which is to die for even if you don't have allergies! I was looking for something that was fast, decent quality and on the healthier side. So I opted to get the Paleo Burger Bowl. My overall impression was that it was just okay. It's not that the bowl was of poor quality, but it just tasted very bland. Granted, it could've just been the nature of the bowl I ordered. Food & drinks: I spread out each food item throughout the week. Even after leaving them in the fridge for a couple days, it still tasted bomb! 1. Watermelon Mint Lemonade - I got this drink last time, and I really enjoyed it. Still refreshing and minty as I remembered. 2. Pineapple Berry Lemonade - I also really enjoyed this drink. It was fruity and refreshing. Perfect for the summer days. 3. Matcha Latte - I thought this drink was okay. I personally prefer a strong matcha taste. This was mixed with oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk, & organic agave. Definitely creamy from all the milks, but it didn't feel too heavy. 4. BBQ Shrimp Melt - Wow these were bigger than expected lol. There was a generous amount of shrimps filled with vegetables. The grilled flatbread made it more fulfilling. First off, I absolutely love the Greek mezze bowl. It is so delicious and I added an extra side of dressing just for the fun of it. Everything in the bowl is so healthy and yummy. I buy that one everytime I go there. Their iced tea is yummy too! It is very fresh and not old tasting like it has been there overnight. The flavors were good, but the bowl wasn't filled all the way, so I felt a little skimped on the portion, especially for the price. Wouldn't order it again. Now, the real reason I'm writing this review: the horchata. It is hands down the best non-dairy, vegan horchata I've ever had. The ones at places like Gracias Madre and Borreguitas are more watery. This one has that perfect creamy consistency I crave when I think of horchata. If they could just boost the cinnamon flavor a bit more, it would be absolute perfection. The parking lot here is very easy to park in. They have a pretty large menu with many gluten free options. And there's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. You order and pay at the counter and they deliver to your table if you're dining in. I got the ahi tuna poke bowl which isn't like traditional poke at all. It's really more of a handful of raw tuna, cucumbers, and furikake on plain rice. I did like that they have the sauce on the side which is great if you have an allergy. They also provide temari sauce for a gluten free option. The food was ok but I can't say I was impressed. Be careful if you use a credit card! In March 2026, till 1 was double charging people. The cashier had me re-run my card. She was not at fault, it didn't appear to go through. When I received the bank statement in April, I went in and talked to the shift lead, Bernice. She couldn't help but notified owner, Kyle Markt, and said he would contact me. He didn't. I called him and he said the machine was a problem and he needed to "check into it". He stated probably only "1 in 3" actually reported it. He says he would get back to me. Again, he didn't-even when I sent additional email. My whole family would dine here. I told him I was a faithful customer. Apparently, he didn't care. So much for being ethical and valuing your customer.When your machine is knowingly taking too much money, isn't that stealing???? read more
