Much better experience this time! I got the salmon bowl instead of tofu. Last time the tofu was raw. Maybe they didn't know the tofu was supposed to be cooked? I don't know lol I'm just happy my salmon was cooked haha The salmon bowl with rice and avocado on top. The avocado was good and plenty! I love avocado. This was a little on the mushy side underneath. But that is okay. I'd rather avocado be slightly mushy and super hard where you can't even eat it lol Service was quick. Jessica and David are the ones we usually always see and they are so positive and you can tell they actually enjoy their job. It's nice to see people that enjoy doing what they do and making the most out of it. The food is always fresh and hot and correct. The inside dining area is always clean. The fridge is always fully stocked. And you never see anyone sitting down and relaxing on their phone. They are always working and doing something which is nice to see. WABA CATERING So so so good, definitely consider this for your next party! My sons first birthday party was this weekend and we invited 62 people (40 adults, 22 kids). I called and spoke to the Manager, David and he HANDLED EVERYTHING. Honestly I just trusted him with telling me what would be enough and he nailed it. He personally delivered the food and packed all the extra sauces and green onions for us. He was perfectly on time and the food was BOMB. Quite a hit and we have a lot of chicken left over for meal prep this week (SCORE!) Each tray serves 12 so we ordered 4 trays of protein: 1 grilled chicken, 1 ribeye, 2 spicy chicken. 2 trays of rice 2 trays of veggies 80 dumplings. We chose Waba because our little man likes it and it was healthier than the tacos we had at my other kids birthday party and we will absolutely be recommending this location and this food to anyone who will listen. I've been here three times already and really tried, but the meat is really dry, small, and choppy. I've had the chicken, steak, and salmon from here. I don't really go to Waba and really wanted to like it but it's just not good at this location. However, the customer service is great! The service was honestly what kept me coming back three times. Ultimately, the food is what determined the customers coming back and they need to retrain whoever is cooking or making the food. read more

I grabbed some dinner here at this location. I commute from Home to work. I had an hour drive so I thought that I would get dinner then use the restroom before I got on the road. The women's restroom is disgusting! If I didn't have a long drive. I wouldn't have used the restroom. So filthy it looked like they don't clean the restroom. I was just there last night to pick up a family meal and I feel like I had to make time to leave a review on this specific location because they truly deserve one.. I have a closer location in Anaheim off state college but the service there is horrendous. I take the time to drive down here because the staff here is great, they always greet with a smile and they are quick and efficient. I feel welcomed when I come here and I prefer to drive to give them my business. The Asian gentleman is always working hard and always quick with orders, im sure he's the owner because from the back of the kitchen he's always greeting guest. Not a lot of people do that. I like that the staff takes their time to greet their guest and that is the reason why I prefer to give this location my business. I've also been here during closing time, and I don't feel pressured to eat my food quickly and every time I come, this place is clean, welcoming, ambience they also take their time to make sure the orders are correct and they ask you if you would like condiments and they never give you any problems about the quantity of sauces . I've never had any issues with my orders and I always leave contents and also the serving portions are definitely more than other locations.THANK YOU! read more

The food was decent. The service was great. The main problem is the restrooms. They have a Gender Neutral restroom and a Women's restroom. This is not good. If you have a women's or a men's restroom, you are required to have the other gender restroom. Having a Gender Neutral And one/or the other doesn't work and, in fact, illegal. Either change the gender neutral to a men's (best option) or change the women's restroom to a gender neutral. I reported this violation before I posted the review. read more

Went in for a grilled salmon bowl. The line was short and moved fat up to the counter. I ordered and got my drink cup. I got a soda at the machine that did need a little cleaning. I also got a few small cups of teriyaki sauce. I went to an open table. I did wait a short while for my order. Kind of longer than most times I have ate at Waba Grill. The food came out and looked good. The fish was hot and the avocado was fresh. I did not get as many vegies as usual this time. Not sure why. Maybe they like skimping on them here. Whatever the case the fish was still good. The place was fairly clean just needed a little touch up. The service was a bit slow this trip. The price is in line with chain stores. Not a bad deal here. The tables could be looked at more to insure they are clean for customers. 4 stars for this visit. They were almost to a 5 but the skimping on vegies and kind of slow service got them to the 4. Waba was a lunch time favorite of mine in the past, when I did a Yelp search and saw I could get free delivery I was sold. In my sick stupor, I ordered the wrong thing for my husband.
