This is a nice, casual place for a healthy meal. We came for lunch and it was fairly busy but we managed to get a table. They have outdoor seating in the back as well. We got a rice bowl, pita wrap, and za'atar fries. Rice Bowl- I absolutely love that you can build your own! I got my bowl with chicken shwarma which was tender, juicy and beautifully seasoned. You get to choose a variety of toppings and two sauces. I got tzatziki and hummus which tied all the flavors together. The tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled beets and cabbage I chose as toppings were all fresh and added brightness to the meal. Pita Wrap- This is a hefty and filling wrap! We got ours with chicken shwarma and it was loaded with your choice of ingredients and sauce. The meat was out of this world in taste. Every bite is truly a delight! Za'atar Fries- I could snack on these all day. The fries were perfectly crispy and served hot and fresh. Baba G's redeemed itself. When they first opened, the gourmet Lebanese food prices of Byblos stayed but the aesthetic took on a more fast casual approach and the portions were small. While it's still quite pricey ($18.50 for a chicken shawarma salad bowl) the portions are way bigger than they used to be. However, and most importantly - the food is just really good. Meats are cooked great, the burger is crazy good and the fries are seasoned perfectly. Staff has only ever been good as well. I normally stick to the salad bowl and leave stuffed. The key thing here is that this isn't Greek or Persian - it's Lebanese. And the flavors and spices of Lebanon are unique and for me preferred over other Mediterranean restaurants. It'd be a perfect 5 stars if only there were a lunch special or just slightly lower prices. Lots of other Mediterranean spots are easily 30% cheaper - but I get it. The Orange Circle has big rents and the oils and ingredients are premium. Still looking forward to coming back and strongly recommend. read more

I think the biggest mistake the original owner of Baba G did is getting into partnership with Busscat. The food is not as good as before abd it doesn't show the originality of the mom and pop restaurant anymore. Now when is Busscat is up for sale , I won't be surprised to see Baba G next on the list. read more

I absolutely LOVE Baba G and will keep coming back as much as I can. The food never disappoints and the service is impeccable. First, I highly recommend the fries - so crispy and yummy. They give so much and yet I need seconds. And the bowls!!!! Literally two meals in one. The beef or chicken protein is sooo good (sometimes I just have to get both). Plus, make sure to have the beets as one of your toppings! You won't be disappointed. Last, the workers are super awesome and helpful, too. Stumbled upon this restaurant in the circle and WOW the food was so fresh and flavorful. The phone clearly did not eat first for the photo. My husband ordered the burger and that had great flavor but the BYO bowl is definitely the way to go. The spicy humus was one of my favorite things. Huge portions, fast service, fair price, lots of indoor seating and patio seating. The place gives off a family friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be making this place a staple in our rotation. BabaG is a build your bowl Mediterranean concept, similar to CAVA. Ordering is done at the front register, and after a short while they prepare your bowl and bring it out to your table. Unlike CAVA toppings are not unlimited, you are only limited to 4 here before they charge extra and you can't specify extra toppings like CAVA. BYO Salad Bowl ($18) - This came with a base of green lettuce, wish there was more variety in the greens like CAVA. I went with the chicken shawarma as my protein. Unfortunately it wasn't very tender and over cooked and dry in quite a few pieces. For my 4 toppings I went with cucumber, sumac onion, olives and crunchy garbanzo beans. Didn't care for the crunchy garbanzo beans, they were a little too hard. For my dips/sauces (limited to only 2) I went with hummus and baba ghanoush. Both were good. Overall the bowl was overpriced and costs 50% more than CAVA's bowl. CAVA offers unlimited toppings and more dips/sauces. I also thought the chicken shawarma could have been better. They don't offer reservations, but we had no problem finding seating for 6 on a Thursday at 12:30 for lunch. I got a bowl with rice and lettuce as the base, with chicken breast, hummus, baba ganoush, and an assortment of pickles. All the ingredients seemed very fresh. Chicken was on the dry side but when combined with the rice and toppings, it wasn't very noticeable. I visited Baba G's on a Tuesday around 5 pm. I parked in a lot about a five-minute walk away. There were only a couple of other people inside when we arrived but more started coming in as we were getting ready to leave. There's plenty of seating, both inside & out in the back. I ordered the chicken shawarma salad bowl with crunchy garbanzo, pickled cabbage, cucumber, sumac onion, za'atar labneh, & tahini sauce, while my sister got a chicken shawarma rice bowl (I didn't catch which toppings she chose). I thought the chicken was well-seasoned, & I liked how nicely it paired with all the toppings I had. My sister brought us to eat here because they do not use seed oils to cook their food. This is a pretty great selling point, as I am sure most places, if you ask them, use seed oils to cook the food. I had been craving Mediterranean food for a while now, so I felt really open to the idea of coming to eat here. I must say it did not satisfy my craving so much, but it was still good. What I liked about this place was the fact that you do not need to wait for seating or anything like that. You just order food at the counter then sit and wait for it to be ready. The workers were nice enough to bring the food to us at the tables we were sitting despite it being busy. Other than this, the food was alright but not exceptional. I had a grilled wrap with chicken shawarma and some other things thrown in and though it was of a fair size and filling, I would not say it was anything special. I'm a bit torn on this place. On one hand, the Mediterranean flavors were genuinely really good. On the other hand, it's pretty pricy for the portion and presentation. Our food looked like the end of a batch, we got tiny pieces of protein and what looked like the final scoop left in the tray. It looked nothing like the appetizing pictures online, which was disappointing. Next time I'll speak up to see if they can correct it..that's on me, but we were just too starving at the time to care. My husband had the loaded fries, and I ordered half rice and half salad,both were delicious and very satisfying. If you like Cava, you'll love Baba G! My wife and I were regular visitors at Byblos, so we were a bit skeptical of the transition to this fast casual version. Now, I think I like it even more. The create your own bowl option is the way to go. The chicken shawarma and koobideh are perfectly cooked/seasoned and super tender. After picking a protein, you get to choose 4 toppings and add 2 sauces for $18. Bowl was pretty massive, so I took half home for later. Service was exceptional too. I've been to Baba G twice now, and both times I left disappointed. The food is just okay it tastes like something from a cafeteria. There's really no difference between this place and any other average spot; it's just plain food with no flavor that stands out. The service is fine, and the place is clean, but for what you get, the prices don't make sense. Each time I've come here, it's been around $65 for three people, and honestly, the value just isn't there. If I'm spending that kind of money, I'd rather go to Panini Kabob the food quality is way better, and the price is about the same. The only thing Baba G really has going for it is the location but the downside the parking is terrible, but when I go out to eat, I want to actually taste the food, not just eat something because it's there. read more

If they don't start making changes I'm pretty sure they'll be closed in six months. I do like the fact that they have a sign that says that they don't use seed oil so my only question is what do they use? I'm someone that would eat here probably 2 to 3 times a week if I knew what oil they're using. This business is a case of being your own worse enemy with the confusing menu and small portions.
