I happened to be in the area and it showed up on my yelp, so I figured I would give it a shot. First impression, wonderful. It was clean and comfortable. The menu is pretty straightforward, there are a few choices of chicken salad. How many times can you make a new chicken salad you might say? Well, they kept it simple, which I like. I was really hungry, and I wanted to try everything and do a big, fun review. Maybe even make a video. Maybe next time. So I went with the BLT chicken salad on wheat. A cup of potato soup on the side. I did turn down the red velvet cake, but it looked great. Everyone was very friendly, I got a strawberry lemonade and my number and sat down. Still 5 stars for me! Stopped in on a Saturday and this place was busy! I was happy to see so many people since my last review I noted it's usually empty. They still have the same delicious options with some new seasonal items. Today's order was a trio with loaded potato soup, scoop of fruity Fran and my all time favorite, grape salad. Food came out in a timely manner even with a full restaurant. I added a drink and noticed they didn't have the Watermelon tea which made me a little sad but the regular tea is good too. I ordered the Fancy Nancy since I love grapes and nuts in my chicken salad. I was pretty disappointed once I took my first bite. It just tastes like chicken and mayo, not many grapes or nuts. Didn't have a sweet flavor profile like I was expecting. Very bland chicken salad unfortunately. Also it's all shredded so no chunks of chicken, it's just mush. The croissant the sandwich was on was good. The pasta salad was also very sad. Mushy over cooked pasta and barely any flavor. This meal also came with a Sugar Cookie. I personally don't like sugar cookies but I think if you like them you would like this one. To drink I got the Strawberry Lemonade, it was way too sweet! It had good flavor but I couldn't drink it. Everything tastes so fresh and the chicken salads have good flavor-- not heavy on mayo like some can be and also they don't all have celery! The drive through was easy to navigate! The cashier who took our order was a sweetheart and navigated us through their menu as it was our friend time there. The first time I've ordered delivery in forever/ I ordered delivery from them because the location was close to me. Within 30 minutes. I found out they double charged me. So I called to try and fix the issue and the manager didn't know what he was doing and then blamed me like it was my fault and told me that I had to fix the problem. so then I called back and asked to talk to the general manager after he told her that I didn't want to talk to him I wanted to talk to her, and was told that I couldn't talk to her because she was busy doing an inspection and that she would return my call.-last time I checked. One of our new favorite spots in Oviedo!!! If the food wasn't a good enough reason to love this place then the service should be. I have never once had a bad experience with the staff here. (and I have probably been to this location over 10 times now) They are so kind and ALWAYS offer a sample if you are unsure of your order. I can't tell you what I order because it always changes. I have tried pretty much everything but I love trying out the monthly flavors because they are constantly changing. This month they had a spicier option and I LOVED it. So delicious! Join their points club! You can get free food and items just for eating there. (I have my eye on the tumbler... haha) Also, if you do the survey at the bottom of your receipt you get $1 off your next meal. Brocolli salad is my go-to side of choice every time (no bacon, please). Mac and cheese is yummy and my son approves. They have great choices for kids meals and lots for kids to love. My three year old gets the PBJ with mac and cheese as a side. Talk about a preschoolers dream meal! He always asks to go to "Salad Chick." They have high chairs for your baby and seating is usually open and never too crowded. Drive thru is great when you are in a hurry but no samples there (sad). All in all this is one of my favorite spots! read more

It was a cold morning In Orlando and we had just finished eating breakfast. When we exited our breakfast establishment, we saw Chicken Salad Chick, in the plaza. The poster in the window displayed an alluring picture of a nice chicken salad sandwich with a bowl of soup. It was then that I decided that I must return for lunch. Return I did. I ordered a Chicken Salad Sandwich with potato soup. I chose to have the sandwich on a croissant. The chicken salad was good and tasted fresh but there was too little of it on the sandwich. The soup was very good. It was creamy, full of bacon bits and shredded Cheddar Cheese, and was a perfect side for the 40 degree outside temperature. Overall I would say that it was a solid lunch and I would eat there again but I'm not in a mad rush to return. read more

I stopped in for takeout for dinner. I had the Classic Salad with Miss Tamara's Tarragon Dijon chicken salad on top. It was a light tasty way to try the chicken salad. It also came with a small version of their cookie, a pickle and the dressing in a side container. I also picked up 2 small containers from their Quick Chick case so I could try some of the other flavors. It is not your traditional chunk chicken salad but you can find traditional flavors as well as hot and spicy versions. The restaurant is airy and clean with booth and table options available and a self serve beverage station. I waited for my togo order on a bench close to the ordering counter and was offered water while I waited. The staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

This little spot inside the outlet mall is heaven sent. Instead of the ordinary food court options, this place gives you a fresh new take on mall food. They offer a great variety of tasty salad options. The ingredients were very fresh and tasty. I would definitely dine here when out shopping. OLD REVIEW: So believe me, I understand the irony of going to a place called chicken salad chick and not ordering the chicken, but the review stands... So.... meh? I bought a bowl of potato soup and a small coke. I internally winced when it came to $7.50. This better be good I thought, and it was. It came with cheddar and bacon bits on top, but if this was the bowl I'd hate to see what size the cup was. I'm curious what the actual ounces were? It's hard for me to not compare "bang for your buck" w fast food, or anywhere for that matter. For that price I could have gotten a full combo at Chick-fil-A. Or a large sub at subway w 60g of protein and all the veggies I want. But here I paid $5 for a 1/3 of a potato and some creamy broth. If you don't care about that stuff then I'll say this, the establishment was clean and peaceful, and the staff were very nice. The food did taste good, I just can't justify paying for these portions when others offer so much more for the price. read more
