    Lomo salteado

Peruvian Chicken is a small little restaurant in a plaza with really good Peruvian food. With the name as Peruvian Chicken, you have to get the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides. Out of all the meals my friends and I got, it was the most economical at about $17. A word of warning, it is large enough to feed two people. Both the Lomo salteado & the skirt steak had very good flavor and the white rice was buttery. Our waitress was helpful with explaining the menu and attentive with water refills.

We enjoyed our meal here, we'd definitely come back! The seasoning was great and the sauces were amazing. The teqeños were supposed to come with 5 but only came with 4 and the cilantro rice was just okay. Regardless the service was great, our waiter was open to explaining everything to us while also coming to check on us multiple times. The restaurant itself is small and cozy. I liked how intimate it is. They displayed numerous images of their culture which was really cool!!

Rice, chicken (barely any), diced scalluons, etc.

I wanted to try a differrnt place for lunch. They had an all-inclusive with lunch. This was to-go. Chicken with rice, etc. There was BARELY any chicken! I don't drink soda, and have water at home. I asked them to make the portion a bit larger, but noticed it was kind of small. Then I asked him what drink is included. I wanted to try the Inca Kola, but he said no. Then, I walked out.... Annoyed with spending $15 on this. The side (potato) simply makes you feel "full". All I can say is, I wish them luck and I won't be bwck.

Highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Peruvian food and Peruvian Chicken. As a Peruvian, I am very picky with the places I recommend but the chicken here is some of the best I have tried. The cilantro rice was perfection, the fries and yuca fries all good. The dipping sauces were all fantastic and true to Peruvian flavors. Smells amazing since the moment you walk in and service was great. So excited to have this place so close to home!

1/4 rotisserie chicken with two sides - about 12 dollars

I went with my colleague on a Thursday evening. I first thought this was a counter service restaurant, but I was surprised that we were seated at a table immediately. I did the 1/4 rotisserie chicken (about 12 dollars), which included two sides. I chose the salad and cilantro rice. It came pretty quickly. The portions were quite nice. The chicken could have been a bit more tender as it was a bit difficult cutting with a fork, but it had a nice rotisserie flavor and enjoyable with the sauces. The salad had fresh lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and other veggies, but I wish they had more dressings other than the one provided in the table. The vinaigrette dressing tasted mild and had not much of a flavor. The cilantro rice was much better side as it was flavorful, and I enjoyed the other two sauces provided in the table. There was one sauced that I really enjoyed with the ride and chicken (pink one I believe) as it provided a great kick and flavor. The service was quick and good, but it did get busier later in the evening. The restaurant is quite small with just a few tables, and I saw some desserts and drinks in a fridge. There was Spanish music in the background, which was a nice touch. The restaurant is located in a strip area not too far from the Walmart. Parking was pretty easy and I was able to park close to the restaurant. For 12 bucks on the rotisserie chicken with the 2 sides, I must say it was a very good deal. I wish the chicken was a bit more tender, and the salad dressing a bit more flavorful, I stilled enjoyed everything. Even if we ordered and paid at the counter, this will still be a good experience, especially with the food coming pretty quickly. It is like almost getting fast food in a table service restaurant, with reasonable prices as well. I will visit again for good Peruvian rotisserie chicken.

I went there with my girlfriend who actually lives in Peru. She had rotisserie chicken which came with 2 sides. She opted for sweet potato fries and a salad. Don't know what kind of salad but I saw avocados in it. I had the arroz chaufa de pollo. That's fried rice with chicken. I asked for mine without vegetables because I still eat like a little kid. Don't let the photo fool you, there was plenty of chicken in there. This place is super close to my house and I will be back. Oh, it was clean as well.

I'll start with getting to the location. Traffic can be pretty rough if you're on the side road of the plaza. You'd then be forced to do a U-turn, or go onto the main road to then make a left turn. However, finding the location is very easy. Parking is easy in the plaza, however I can absolutely see it filling up very quickly during peak hours. Service was as good as you'd expect. They take your order at the front and give you a buzzing device that'll alert you when your food is ready at the counter. The place was also pretty clean and had a large amount of seating available. Finally, the food. I ordered the half-chicken with a side of rice and fried yuca. The half chicken consisted of a wing, breast, leg, and thigh. It was very delicious and flavorful. The breast was just slightly dry, but definitely good still. The rice and fried yuca were great too, as expected. Overall, the wait for the food was very quick. It was delicious, filling, and at a very good price. I'd absolutely come back if was was in the mood for Latin food and wanted something quick and easy.

Service was wonderful, our server was friendly and answered all of our silly questions and didn't laugh at us when we butchered the words of the ingredients in dishes. She checked on us often and provided suggestions to make sure we got plates we would enjoy. The cocktail menu.....wow! It was so beautiful visually and the drinks came out looking just like the photos! They tasted great too! It's apparent that time and care went into every decision on this menu. As for food, we started with the croquettes. They came four to an order and it was the perfect amount of food to hold us over until our entrees came. Our entrees came out and we were both surprised by the portions! I got the Chaufa Charapa and it came in a beautiful stone bowl. The portion was huge, it just kept going and going! My friend got salmon and it was the biggest piece of salmon i've seen served at a restaurant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had leftovers to take home. Overall we were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Pisco Peruvian and can't wait to return!

This visit was no exception -- the food was genuinely excellent. That said, the business model is starting to feel aggressive. Every interaction is an upsell opportunity, and you quickly realize you're on high alert the entire meal, almost battling the server at every turn just to avoid quietly running up the bill. It starts the moment you sit down: "Is bottled water okay?" -- which, of course, is an upcharge. When we ordered Pisco Sours, instead of just bringing the standard version, the server recommended the Peruvian one, about $5 more. For starters, my wife wanted a chicken dish, but the server suggested a beef dish, mentioning it could be made with chicken instead. The catch: there was no price reduction for swapping to chicken, leaving us paying $12 more than the original chicken dish would have cost. I had the Lomo Saltado, which was fantastic, and asked for fries instead of the yellow potatoes. I don't mind an upcharge -- but it would have been nice to be told upfront. A simple "there's a small upcharge for that" would have been fine. They also take photos of you at the table, which is pleasant enough on its own, but by then you're conditioned to wonder what it's going to cost. When the check arrived, an 18% gratuity had already been added, with the option to tip more on top. We declined to add extra. The food really is excellent, and we may go back for that reason alone. But be prepared to stay on your toes -- every choice seems designed to nudge the bill higher, and you'll spend the meal defending your wallet rather than relaxing into it.

Since it took over a failed Burger King, I wasn't expecting much, but the food seemed more elevated than the atmosphere. Not that it's a bad thing, but the food looks better than it is which brought it down a notch or two. Some of the dishes seem out of place at a counter service place. The spicy garlic fish with shrimp dish was good, but again, not really much spice and was just kinda there. It wasn't bad, but not great. That's the theme. I did like the condiment bar as they had lots of fixin's which invoked the Roy Rogers days of the Fixin's Bar. It was a good way to add some flavor to the dishes. Who else had Fixin's? Fuddruckers was the best at that with that Jalapeño cheese sauce! Viet-Nomz has all that Thai basil and cilantro. Yum! More places need fixin's! We ordered delivery on another occasion and I will say the ribs were pretty good and pretty meaty. That was probably the best thing there. The empanadas were big, but more shell than filling. I'd call them air biscuits more than an empanada. There are lots of choices from chickens to plantains to soups to steak to fajitas to fried rice to pork to shrimp to fish to calamari to yuca to corn to other stuff as well. It seems like a lot to maintain here which may be why it was all just there. After two tries, I doubt that I'd go back as I think there are better options for the price. The Ceviche alone is WAY overpriced and I doubt they're using Royal Red shrimp for it. However, if I did end up back here, I'd probably try a few more things, or just get ribs again.
