I don't do fast food very much anymore, but I stopped here over the weekend to show Chick-Fil-A some love for standing by their morals. I was in the area to visit another store, and made sure to stop here for lunch! The employees here are very friendly and helpful, as they are at every CFA I've been to. If you're unfamiliar with their menu, they have breakfast from open to 10:30 - the awesome CFA biscuit, and bacon-egg-cheese, and others. My favorite items on the rest of their menu is the regular CFA sandwich and the spicy chicken wrap...I get them with fruit cups instead of fries, and their great sweet tea. Yum! This is a treat, not a regular thing for me, but I'm glad to support them. This location is at the corner of Tatum and Cactus, on the SEC, in the same area as the Wal-Mart and Michael's. read more

I love the Chic fil A app and use it often. This location has a huge drive through wait and I have been waiting for 20 mins and still have not gotten my food. This is ridiculous. The Deer Valley store I realize has a separate line for app purchases but you cannot compare the 2 when it comes to obvious in organization. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I do not usually yelp and the last time I did it was for this location. I ordered four Chick-fil-A sandwiches all with extra pickles and a large fry. All burgers came with less than the regular amount of pickles only three on each. Just very frustrating to ask for a special order each time and it not be done. Ugh, I hate writing this review. I saw employees wearing masks as chin guards 'noses sticking out of the top of the masks' as they are coming from the back food area. I love their food, service and location. I am more sad than angry at this point. I truly love the food and they are the gold standard of service, but this was just scary in the pandemic times. I like Chick-Fil-A. They deserve props for inventing the chicken sandwich, for the cute cow commercials and for maintaining their religious principles. That said, I don't really care for this location. It's cramped, with a lot of tables and a children's play area crammed into a very small space. Also, no way to refill your soda on your own. Chick-Fil-A overall is a bit expensive for what it is, perhaps in part a consequence of its closed on Sunday policy. I tried their grilled chicken nuggets a la carte on my recent visit. How disappointing. They came out soggy, sealed in a plastic container, where they had apparently been for quite some time. Gross! Gross! Gross! Definitely no resemblance to the promotional photographs! When I mentioned how disgusting they were to another family member, they immediately asked, "Did you go at lunchtime?" "They make bigger quantities in advance at lunchtime and the food then is never as good." Hmm. Makes some sense, I guess. Still, over five bucks for six tiny slime covered grilled nuggets and the smallest small sized soft drink I've seen in years, leaves me less than enthusiastic in any case. I make a mobile order I join in line NO ONE comes to my car there are 2 people tqking orders. It's not really even busy maybe 4 cars in front of me. I get to the window and of course because this is THE slowest chick fil a in the nation they have my park and wait becauseNO one acknowledgedi was here i even tried the speaker box. Because my order of 2 meals is considered BIG not only did I wait the 20 min in the drive through an additional 10 minutes in a parking space AFTER I was parked( mind you during that time i could not get the attentionof an order taker outside). I had to see wtf was my food. Last time I got no straws. Twice I had to go INSIDE to get my food when I did curbside and once I got the wrong order. Why do I keep coming back to this one. Why is this location ,12301 N Tatum Blvd, the WORST location in the nation?!?Please get new owners/management in there as they are ruining your brand! Very unpleasant, uncooked English muffins and cheese isn't even melted on the breakfast sandwich. (This has been the case on numerous visits.). I knew better than to go to this location, but my husband ordered on his app and chose this location since I was in the area. I pulled up to the driveway and told the clerk outside that I had an online order. He said the payment didn't go through.. This is very strange as we order breakfast from the Mayo Blvd location 3-5 times a week and have never had an issue! Why would the app process the order and let you select "I'm at the restaurant" if it didn't go through. He said there would be no way to refund if it processes twice. So I drove to the window and spoke to the "?manager?" blonde lady. She kept saying it hasn't been paid for. I showed her the screenshot from my husband's app showing it took $ off his app.. She Made me pay for it again, handing me a receipt and said if there was a problem come back. Well there is a problem. The $ was taken from his app as well as my cc. This is not about the $8, this is about taking care of your customers. Not driving them away. I left a message 4 days ago, no calls back. I did a mobile order and it was wrong, I ordered 2 orders of chicken nuggets got only one, ordered crackers for my chicken noddle soup and no crackers, ordered chick-fil-a sauce 2 per order of nuggets and only got a total of 2. Thank God I checked the order before leaving the drive thru or I would've had to go back. When I finally got to the window to pay I politely told the woman who rang me up (coincidentally wearing a name badge that said "customer service") that had I known how long it would take to get my order I never would've gotten in line. I love Chick-fil-A, but I hate this location! The employees are terribly rude and will try their hardest to avoid doing things. When our food came so did my husband's shake, but it didn't come with a straw. When he asked the old lady who brought out the food if she brought one out, she said no and told him he can get one himself from the front. She didn't say it kindly either. She was short, didn't make eye contact, and started walking away as she answered him. Why bring me my food if you aren't going to bring me the supplies to eat my food? I've never been to a Chick-fil-A where I felt like such an imposition to the workers and it wasn't even a busy time of day. I'd rather she sat down and called our number at the counter so I could have gotten a straw when I went up to get more order rather than when I'm comfortably seated. Halfway through my meal I run out of lemonade -because it's 90% ice- so I went up to the front for more and it took several minutes to get assistance. The line was non-existent, but they were socializing, yelling to each other to coordinate their breaks, or just avoiding eye contact. I finally was able to maintain eye contact with someone and he filled up my cup without saying anything to me other than "sugar?". I took it that he was asking if I want the regular lemonade versus diet, so I said "Yes, please", then thanked him when he put the filled cup on the counter. As we were getting ready to leave I wanted some more lemonade - again these "drinks" are mainly ice so I wasn't getting much lemonade and I'm a breastfeeding mom so I need a lot of liquid anyways. His eyes got huge and he stared at me like I just asked for 20 packs of sauce with my order. I made a joke and said "I know, I might as well have bought a gallon jug, right?" because I'm friendly and thought he was trying to be funny, but he just kept staring at me like I was asking way too much of him. Finally he snatched the drink from my hand, filled the cup, and brought it back to me. I put out my hand and rather than giving me the cup, he set it down away from me and turned his back to me so quickly that I couldn't even thank him for refilling my cup. I have never had a restaurant experience where I am significantly more polite to the servers than they are to me. This is not Chick-fil-A, this is a chicken version of [insert cheap fast food restaurant here]. I live 5 minutes away from this location, but I'd rather go down to the Camelback location just to avoid this one. Or I'll just go to In N Out right across the street because I don't want to take the chance that I'm going to get that much attitude when I'm trying to grab a quick meal. read more

While it's not the place to go for anything healthy the salads are very good and generous in size. I had the grilled chicken sandwich that had a funky taste. The lettuce covered it like it was hiding the piece of chicken. Almost as a warning "why are you eating the grilled chicken" It just is not the place to order this item. It was rubbery and tasted like it was 100% rib meet. Chick-fil-a is comfort fast food for me. I love the original chicken sandwich; I add 1 pack of honey mustard. I grab a second honey mustard packet for dipping my delicious waffle fries - which, unfortunately, they sometimes skimp on, in my opinion. I have to tell you, though, I witnessed the talent of the best balloon artist I've ever seen at this location! (He's not there every week, but you'll find him there on some Wednesday afternoons for the whole "kids eat free" thing.) I was so mesmerized, as I waited in line to order and then for my food, that I hardly noticed the wait and the fact that the place was overrun with little ones didn't detract from my experience! This one however is the exception especially when it comes to cleanliness and organization. So I was doing the no carb thing for awhile and my very first carb loaded meal was at Chik-Fil-A. One would think that after not eating carbs for a couple months, anything would taste divine---- WRONG. Chi-Fil-A used to be in malls when I was younger and they would hand out free samples of the yummy fried deliciousness on little toothpicks when you walked by. This then would make me turn to my mother and beg, plead, cry to eat at Chik-Fil-A. It was really good then. This was my memory when I went to the Tatum location. What I got was a super fried chicken fillet that needed salt-- gasp! Who actually adds salt to fried chicken? Well, this one tasted bland., so I HAD to. My bun was soggy and my fries were cold. Is this really the carbs I was craving all this time? No. I should have gone to have sushi. the 2 stars are because I WANT it to be more that 1 star. I give it another go ahead, a few weeks later-- at this point I have eaten so many carbs my pant buttons are popping off and AGAIN! cold fries and soggy bun. WTF??!! Ok, yes I am writing a review for a fast food restaurant. I realize that seems a bit strange and quite possibly extremely unnecessary. I mean, fast food is fast food right? Everyone knows what their getting into and what kind of food to expect, right? While this is true I felt it was worth writing a little snippet for the always refreshing Chick-Fil-A. It's nice to have a fast food experience where the food tastes fresh and actually like real chicken. The nuggets are yummy, flavorful but not overbreaded. My parents enjoyed their chicken sandwiches and agreed that the food is fresh tasting and not too heavy. We also enjoyed the sweet tea which is a classic Chick-fil-A staple. One important thing to note was that this location was super busy when we walked in right at noon but soon after we ordered our food was ready in a flash. And for those of you who have never been to CFA before? The icing on the cake is the wonderful assortment of dipping sauces to suit whatever flavor mood you are in at the moment. Or you can do what I do and open one of each and dip to your hearts desire. Who doesn't love variety?! read more
