Thank you for being open later than most places in the area. I am always interested in a good burger. This one is always a go too and a favorite. The service that I experienced was friendly and very quick. My family and I did not dine in. However, I do appreciate all of the condiments and accompaniments for my meal having been provided to me in our bags without our having to request anything at all. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to express how much I love the whole grilled onion, and therefore asking for extra on my burger. The gentleman who took my order was not only very kind, but he was super attentive and made sure that our order was correct before its final submission. The amount of time that was spent in the drive-through area was minimal. It is so nice that they have their operations down. We got our food. Oh man. In and Out never disappoints. This location was awesome. Came here for a quick lunch! And while the line was long and the inside was crowded, there was an employee name Zack who was helping serve food outside where we were waiting for our order to be served. He went in and out (no pun intended) to deliver orders so guests wouldn't have to be anxious about missing their order being called. He was kind, generous and super helpful. He even brought us back ketchup and sauce. Wonderful! This was your typical In-N-Out, but less busy the one that I went to in LA was three times more busy and the food taste better there I wasn't impressed with this version of In-N-Out in Arizona. It gave me the same vibe as the Vegas In-N-Out just wasn't that impressive. we had to jazz it up with sauce and hot sauce and spices and stuff so it wasn't memorable but if it's your first time wanting to visit check it out. There's plenty of parking. Seating is also limited so you just can't have to wait around to see if there's an open table, but I've been to a better in and out so far LA is winning read more

This In-N-Out Burger is located in The Promenade. Wow what a crowd outside and inside the building. The drive-through line was incredible. I opted to go inside. I was about seventh in line with more people coming as the minutes ticked away. Service was very fast and staff are efficient. Very clean in here and very popular. Prices are super cheap. Food is hot and made to order. I wanted an order of fries and those came up quickly. You get a lot of fries in your basket. I couldn't eat them all. The fries were fresh and hot. They have their own parking lot, but I would suggest using the shared parking elsewhere. It's a bit crazy inside and out. Finding seating can be a challenge especially during the meal times. read more

Representing 2024 in alphabet series is I is for In-N-Out Burger. I visited Phoenix in January 2024 as well as various other times since moving away in 2011. One of my friends and her husband met up with me for In-N-Out on Saturday, January 27, 2024, a west coast treat I try to have when I visit. The history of this In-N-Out Burger goes WAY back to 2000. I was a junior at Horizon High School, and the first In-N-Out in the Valley opened here at this location in November 2000. It was kind of cool that the first one in the Valley was within Horizon High's district. When this opened, there was only one in Arizona in Lake Havasu City on the western edge of the state bordering California where In-N-Out started in 1948, which had opened about 6 months earlier. I remember people waited 3+ hours when they first opened here on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. We eventually went but when it wasn't such a long wait. While it was cool to have one in the Valley, no food is worth a 3 hour wait, and I had In-N-Out prior with my parents at least once when visiting LA in the late 90's. In-N-Out was always known for their fresh cut potatoes for the fries, and they never disappointed. But not just the fries, the burger is amongst the best for a fast food burger. McDonald's, Wendy's, & Burger King don't even compare to In-N-Out. For Burger King, I call it a McWhopper to make fun of them. The closest we have to In-N-Out for fast food burger in Maryland, where I live, is Habit Burger. They are excellent and close par with In-N-Out, and coincidentally, they are California based as well. New York-based Shake Shack is more common eating option as it's convenient and Habit Burger rarely is, and while Shake Shack is very good, it's no In-N-Out. My January 2024 visit to the original Valley location was no exception. I greatly enjoyed my double burger and fries. I don't do American cheese on my burger, so a plain burger is fine with lettuce, tomato, & their "secret sauce", which is essentially a 1000 Island dressing. Shakes are pretty good too at In-N-Out, but it's been a long time as I got a shake there. Flavors are standard vanilla, chocolate, & strawberry. Further, staff was nice here, and they are efficient getting people through the line & food out in spite of a busy lunch rush on a Saturday. Next time I'm in the Valley, I'll try to get In-N-Out again and one of the now many locations that are there. read more

First time being on the west coast so I had to try in n out. This location was very packed and busy so be aware. It took a little bit before I could get my food which was expected with how many people were ordering. I got the cheeseburger and fries animal style on a recommendation from a friend. However, I tried this time to redeem a value gift card that In N Out sent me last time for messing up my order and the cashier and manager both told me the gift card was inactive. I paid for my meal and contacted In N Out customer service who informed me that the restaurant needed to scan the card a special way to different it as a value gift card and not a regular gift card. This seems like something corporate should ensure frontline workers understand. Customer service did make it right and send me another value gift card, which I appreciated. The service here is typically fast and friendly. If you walk up to the counter in need of something, an employee always comes quickly to ask what you need, no matter if they're the one manning the cashier, drive through, burger station, etc. The employees seem to equally share the responsibility of serving customers efficiently. This location is also typically one of the cleaner In N Outs in the valley, but during busy periods it can get quite chaotic with trash cans overflowing, ketchup dispensers empty, and tables very dirty from past customers. read more

AMAZING! I was here last week (I Come in with my family often) I have NEVER gotten service as good as this. Every time i come in the cashier seems like they are irritated and disrespectful. My cashier this day was a young girl with name tag Ari. She was extremely sweet, definitely loves her job, and patient. Once our meal was ready, we were missing two shakes. a young man said he would grab them for us, but he never came back. Ari came back to the counter, and we told her we were waiting and she got them right away for us. She gave my kids some fun packs and was very helpful. I even saw her once again in the dining room during my meal, and she offered to clear our table and made sure we were taken care of. Of course, I had to stop here during my visit to the West Coast. It's been years since I've had In-N-Out Burger, and I was really excited to see one near where we stayed. They gave me Chick-fil-A vibes because the line was very very long, but there were also people outside with tablets, ready to take your order. The employee who took our order was so friendly and patient with us as he quickly realized that we were not from the area, and we needed a little time to figure out what to order. He gave us a nice rundown of the menu and offered some suggestions. I ordered the combo with the burger, fries, and 7-Up. 7-Up? I couldn't believe that was on the menu, you always see Sprite - but he explained the history behind that decision, and that In-N-Out Burger always serves 7-Up instead of Sprite. My burger was good; the fries were a little light skinned for my taste lol. They needed some more color or a harder fry or something. The beef patty was so thin you could hardly see it with the half a head of lettuce and tomato they put on top of it. They seem to be forcing people to get the Double. I walked in and the young lady on register in the right-most, against the wall was not the warmest but also, got noticeably impatient with me about what I was asking to have on my grilled cheese sandwiches and I said "no tomatoes" twice to her. I got the sandwiches and left-- there were tomatoes on them. I had no time to return to tell them. Not the most pleasant worker there. She is young with distinct hazel, light brown eyes that are noticeable and darkish hair (I don't know her name). In-n-out is fine. I'm not a big burger fan, but I sometimes come even people really want to go get. I do like the company policies (Christian, pro-Constitution), so I don't mind supporting them. The service this evening was impeccable. They didn't even call our number. The guy brought our food to the table. I really like the touch free soda dispensers. They even have a separate one for water! As far as burgers go, if I'm going to eat a burger, it'll likely be this or the red headed one. But this was my second burger this year (the other was in January), and both have been in-n-out, same store. And I'm actually come to this store for years, since college in the early 2000s. The lines aren't nearly as long as they used to be all the time. But they sure can get long quickly. read more

I have been to so many in-n-out locations I can't count. This was by far the busiest. No less then 50 cars in drive through and the line out the door. Yet they were so efficient and happy. When we got there we were #80, and when we left they had gone past 100 started at 1 and back to the 50's. Our party of 7 got our food in a matter of minutes and it was great. Workers kept it clean and brought the kids stickers. They deserve an award. read more
