Beyond sausage pesto pasta and walnut salad
    April L.

Went here for a late lunch and had the best experience! Our server, I believe Carlisle, was awesome. He was so helpful and had great recommendations. Loved that they had such a variety of lunch combos and many veggie/vegan selections. Will definitely be back when I'm in town again.

    Yummy salad

I live in scottsdale and I rarely explore restaurants in the area this restaurant is located. My friend lives nearby, and yesterday she suggested we stop here. I was really surprised at all the options including vegan, but I liked that the items were organic. I tried the Cobb salad? (I think that's what it's called) and I loved that it had pistachio, corn and lots of items. The salad was delicious. I was eyeballing everyone else's dinner and the pizza looked fabulous. So I will have to return and especially with my kids because they are pizza fanatics.

    GF Spicy southwestern chipotle: $23

First time coming to this location. Love coming here for HH, they have it daily from 3pm-6pm. My favorite thing to get is their GF cheese bread. It wasn't fluffy and moist like their other locations, was a little bummed about that. Almost tasted like it was over baked. I also LOVE their pizzas, I got their HH pizza with Portugese sausage. It was perfect from the ratio of the sauce to cheese, not to mention how great their crust was. My BF ordered their GF pasta, the spicy southwestern chipotle. I'm just not a fan of their GF pastas but my BF didn't mind it.

Lunch special Italian White Bean soup and slice of Puttanesca pizza
    Joyce S.

Lunch specials are a good deal: slice of pizza, soup, beverage. Puttanesca pizza was superb! Great combo of ingredients including artichoke and olives, with flavors blending perfectly on a thin crust that did not make me miss gluten at all! The soups we had were Tomato Basil and Italian White Bean w/ Kale. Both tasted bright and fresh, but both were a little heavy on the tomato which overpowered the other ingredients and could have been a little less thick. My tea was too watery but my friend's was fine. The service was attentive and the server answered all our questions thoroughly. The restrooms were clean and the toilet seat had a handy handle the likes of which I've never seen before. This is a very handy location for attending events at Theater Artists Studio so I'll definitely return for the surprisingly delicious pizza!

Vegan meatball pasta with rich tomato sauce

What glutton free??? How is that possible. Hard to believe a whole menu of gluten-free items. I have hit paid dirt. The selection of vegan dishes and meat dishes was overwhelming. The vegan meatballs tomato pasta was fabulous. So rich and satisfying. Friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices.

I've lived in the area for nearly a decade and only recently started coming to Picazzo's! I always forget it's an option, but happy to be making it a regular now. Picazzo's offers modern-Italian fare with a few fusion options on their menu. Everything is exceptionally fresh and is able to cater to vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly diets. They have an full plant-based vegan menu that nearly mirrors the regular menu. While their menu is vast, we have our favorites. My wife and I love to share the Mother Earth salad (the candied walnuts are SO good) and the Elote pizza on a GF crust. Their GF is crust is truly one of the best I've ever had! Their pastas, also all GF, are delicious. My favorite is the "meetball" marinara. Service is always friendly and attentive. Even when it is packed, we rarely have to wait very long to be seated. They do offer outdoor seating, and now that it's cooler, I am excited for that option. The spcae inside is a bit squishy at times, but the atmosphere is laid back and family friendly. I highly recommend Picazzo's if you want Italian, but you want to keep it on the healthier and lighter side!

    Meatballs bolognese
    Sabrina C.

Highly recommend this place! Their servers are on top of it, they are attentive and friendly. They always ask if there is any food allergy they should be aware of which I think is thoughtful and proactive. The food is so fresh, I don't think we have ever ordered something that was not tasty here and we have been a couple times now! I always like to start with a spinach artichoke dip, it's so tasty and comes with fresh veggies and their delicious bread. The pizza does not disappoint! The Bianca, one of my favorites, is a creamy pasta full of flavor, and comes in a big portion too so you may even have leftovers! Meatball bolognese is another great dish! If you don know what drink to order, their Sangrias are great!

Food was so good no leftovers

Wonderful service! 10/10 took great care of us & family from out of town were very impressed with service Absolutely love Picazzo's! The pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Whether you're dining in or taking out, it's always a great experience. Highly recommend! Accidentally got us a diff soup but we got to keep both and now I have two fav soups there! Never disappoint esp this location

Meaty Meaty pizza with Alfredo sauce. Delicious!
    Tisha R.

In today for take out for our team lunch. Everyone decided on pizza. Since my coworker and I came to pick up the food we added Baked wings with carrots and ranch dressing. Yum! The associate who took our order, Javier, is very personable. He's quiet yet friendly. Very engaging conversation before the next guests arrived to be seated. I selected a Meaty Meaty pizza with Alfredo sauce. My other coworkers ordered: a Naples Margherita with olive oil & garlic and added ham, a Meaty Meaty and a Hot Honey Fig & Salami. The wings were baked a little too long. Everyone loved their pizza. I enjoyed mine. Half came home for dinner and my husband had a couple slices. He loved it and even commented it was better than a local pizzeria. We need one in Surprise.

All of the food brought flavor worth the hype. This is the kind of spot you want to bring your out of town guests to. Experience it, I know I will again. How is this possible? And the reports kept coming. Bronx native Chris Bianco had done the impossible, expanding authentic pizzas beyond the Mississippi River. The accolades and awards were endless, the critics raved, and even documentaries were produced. So we all started putting this place on our bucket list. I finally made the pilgrimage in 2026 to this mecca, this icon, this uber-famous destination. And it was worth the hype! The most beautiful red sauce complements the perfectly stretchy fresh mozzarella. Since I opted for the Sonny Boy, I was treated to high quality slices of salami and whole olives. The crust is thin, charred in various spots, slightly crispy on the bottom but still properly chewy. It is a thing to behold, ranking right up there with the best pizzas I've had in Italy and the states! I wish the olives were halved and not whole so they wouldn't roll off my pizza. But I didn't care. I even violated my germaphobic code for the first time in decades and snatched an olive off the table, it was that good! Because of its location inside Heritage and Science Park, there is a mandatory $10 parking charge for valeting plus a recommended tip. There is no validating inside the restaurant. But the surprise surcharge was also worth it!

It had been a minute, but my friends and I made the Cibo lunch scene the other day. Now, when Italian-Americans order lunch, it's a given, EVERYTHING ordered is for the table. The pizza was as good as any Neapolitan-style pizza in town, including that dude named "Chris". The arancini was slightly over-fried, but I actually dug the crunch. Salad, fresh. Staff, energetic and fun. Fellas, take your date. You'll be a hero. Some places are restaurants. Some become part of a city's story. Cibo feels a lot like the latter.

We were seated and immediately after sitting down I literally couldn't hear anything anyone was saying at my table. Most the customers were crammed into the front right room and it was impossible to hear anyone at my table with loud women surrounding us enjoying lunch (which is fine) but break up the crowd a little.. I immediately stood up and asked to be moved so we could atleast hear each other. The young teen who Sat us was very helpful and moved us to a different table in the back right. When I tried to order the appetizer, I said "Yes, (looking at the waitress) we'd like to split a Caprese ( glances at my daughter to confirm in a questioning voice hesitating at the end) The waitresses said, "ok, I'll come back in a few when you figure it out" obviously not willing to wait a few seconds for a confirmation. We just sat there going Wow?!? That was wild, we also had our pizza orders ready but ended up waiting till she wandered back our way. The entire time we felt like we were keeping her from her kids? Grandkids? We definitely put her out, drinks were not offered beyond the first, I had to ask for a second one. The pizzas came, but not mine. I was informed it was wrong and they had to remake it. After my pizza finally came I realized it was still rather doughy and undercooked. We moved on as my daughters were done eating thier pizza and one of them grabbed boxes and we boxed them and waited to order crepes. We finally got our crepes and mine didn't look gf and was missing the allergy flag. We waited a few and I finally got up and went to the front room, the 2 teen girls (servers? They were serving) were messing around in the front room and almost ran into me when I FINALLY went up front to say My food had been messed up after it was dropped, no one checked back. They kept messing around and then stopped and looked at me asking if I needed help. I said YES please. She went into the side room to the front left and the waitress got up from the table where she was sitting with the other kids (that were at the drink fountain when we'd walked in.) She asked what she could help me with... I told her my gf pizza was not cooked all the way; I'd thrown it into a box (that we'd actually went to get) and I'll reheat it properly later and eat it, but the crepe I was concerned as there was not an allergy flag and it looked JUST like my daughters texture wise. I'm familiar with the crepes and I REALLY didn't think it was gf. She said she would not do anything about the pizza since I didn't mention it prior but the crepe was indeed gluten free. A little stunned I again said I would take the pizza home and reheat, I didn't ask for anything in regards to the pizza as they reheat well... and I would not eat the crepe, I truly didn't think it was gf! She said they'd remake it. I replied no thank you. (I'd already sat once while my party ate, for the gf pizza to be remade... I wasn't doing that again. With an attitude she told me she'd remove it from the bill! One bite was cut out and STILL on the fork, it should but have been an issue. I love Cibo and the food is amazing and it's worth the drive to come from Surprise for a treat, but that was a bit much...I'll be back, but I'll definitely ask for a different server!

The girl at the register seemed very knowledgeable about all the pizzas and gave us lots of details and recommendations which we appreciated. First we got the green, di Parma, and the Phoenix. The green has pistachios and fresh arugula on it, I thought the overall flavor was too sweet and the pistachios weren't crush enough. The Phoenix was good, very honey forward and overall the flavor didn't stick out to me. The di Parma was a cheese pizza with procuttio and ricotta, overall a little plain to me. I think they all would've tasted better hot, but I understand that's not super realistic for a slice shop. For our second order we got the vodka sauce slice, which was for sure my favorite.
