I then waited 15 minutes in line to be told that because her phone is not here with me, the system did not send the food to the kitchen. So then I waited another 15 minutes for the food. While it may be lawful in Maryland for a business to refuse cash payment, it is most certainly unethical, and it most certainly hurts the most vulnerable populations. Unfortunately, I chose to visit Chick-fil-a in Prince Frederick, MD today. All I had to pay with was cash. I had already been in line, there were no signs stating cash would not be accepted, there was no effort to make abundantly clear that if one does not have credit, that they are not welcome and would be refused service. No where on or around the building, nor on your website, is this information shared - only once it is time to pay. I was informed that I could not pay with cash. I let the staff know that I only had cash to pay. A manager was called out and told me it is "corporate policy" (which can't be entirely accurate, as there absolutely are states and cities where cash refusal is illegal, though unfortunately not in MD) but here I had already made the trip, waited in line, placed ! my order - and I expressed that I felt this was wrong in a matter-of-fact way. No scene, no yelling, etc. The meal was provided, though still my payment was refused. Afterward, the manager emailed my employer (I was in a work vehicle) with information about what she calls a confrontation in which she blatantly lies about what took place. You call and young lady who answered the phone thought it was FUNNY....called back spoke to Manager on Duty acted like she didn't care either. Call if service at this location is grossly lacking. Although all restrictions have been lifted in the region, they still do not have their dining Room opened to customers. They go to the extent of refusing entry twisting your citizen to use the facilities. Instead they direct them to go to another business if they need to use the restroom. I understand this location just opened up and all but geezzz, 4 out of the 5 times I've been there has it been a big thumbs down. Learned from my first time doing a mobile order to place my order 10 mins (actually sat your already there)even before I even actually get there. Still ended up waiting more than 30 mins after I got there to finally ask about my order (they were somewhat busy), come to find out it was still not being prepared. Not happened once but twice. Today I decide to stop in to get a large ice cream cone. While handing me the ice cream the employee asked if it was ok (the size) cause if not he can make another one. Obviously he knew that what he gave me wasn't their normal large ice cream cone but instead of remaking it or whatever he decided to ask me, but I understand I could've asked him to make a new one but with my previous issues I was just like whatever. I understand this location is new but sheesh! I used the app to order and went through the drive-thru, big mistake. I sat in the drive-thru for 25 mins no exaggeration. I finally got to the window and got my food and wasn't pleased. My fries were bland and so was my lemonade. This Chick-fil-A still needs time to get itself together. Right after grand openings (a previous job of mine), Chick-fil-As' have to figure out how to run the operation themselves without corporate experts. It's difficult running a multimillion dollar business when there's a line from open to close and expectations are high. Nonetheless, at this time Chick-fil-A in Prince Frederick is a 2 star. They are frequently out of products. Tonight we skipped dessert at Brick (highly recommended restaurant, by the way) to come through Chick-fil-A's drive-thru. We were immediately informed that any ice cream dessert was unavailable due to being out of stock. That includes frosted beverages, milkshakes, etc. leaving just the chocolate chunk cookie. We left without purchasing anything. Another reviewer noted that the restaurant was out of Chick-fil-A sauce and ketchup. They ran out of lids during another visit. The list goes on... Secondly, because the restaurant is new, service will be very slow. We have visited three times dining in, one mobile order with pickup inside, and once in the drive-thru. The line will move slowly inside, and we estimated that if you mark your mobile order as "here" by the Weis or Wawa depending on how you come in, your order will be ready for you by the time you get inside. Estimated about 10-15 minutes per order (for those curious, besides breading and boxing the chicken, it cooks for 4.5 minutes; so running about 3 cycles behind during peak periods). Drive-thru greeting took 20 seconds, which is not up to Chick-fil-A standards. This was approximately an 8pm visit, and we were the only car in line. A second car pulled up in the right-hand speaker box and was greeted right away by a guy. Our girl took another 5-10 seconds and then greeted us, and as it happened, turning us away due to being out of product. The kids enjoyed utilizing the play area, but the space behind is extremely cluttered. The parking lot and drive-thru entrance is excellent. Chick-fil-A has gotten much smarter about optimizing their spaces. My final concern is sort of generally Chick-fil-A-oriented. The operator of this Chick-fil-A is experienced (from Texas, I think), and many Chick-fil-A operators sort of put things together, hire a General Manager, and then come in once or twice a week. They are required by Chick-fil-A not to take up another job and they make quite a good living from it. I hope Todd finds ways to have a positive impact on the Calvert County community and isn't in it for the easy money. read more

Our first time at this location we pre ordered our food platters for a party. From the time the app told us the food was ready for pick up until we actually received our order was another 45 minutes standing there!!! I actually sent corporate/GM? an email stating our disappointment on the service on this day and literally received nothing back!! Three stars because we actually got our order and because we have had better service since, but nothing like most other locations. Well lets see, the food was a mess but good, that is the good part. We drove up to this location straight to the order board, we started our order 1 bacon egg and cheese meal with a diet dr. Pepper and 1 sausage egg and cheese meal with a diet coke, not complicated but we had to repeat the order multiple times, while the car that pulled up after we started ordering at the order board next to us got their order completed and pulled towards the window, we could see the inside was not that busy. We pulled up to the window 2 drinks pushed out to us, we asked which one was which "they are marked" pardon me they weren't, next here comes the bag and the girl walks away from the window, as we now have to check if the order is complete, no one behind us so there was no hurry and a manager in the window also ignoring all the goings on, we said you have a nice day too, and the window gets slammed shut.
