This was my first time eating here, and it was an amazing experience! My brother had been before and assured me it would be great--and it didn't disappoint. We initially planned to get our food to go, but the outstanding hospitality of the manager, Wilson, convinced us to stay and dine in. His excellent customer service and engaging conversation truly enhanced the experience. I just recently started ordering from Firehouse Subs and although most times the sub is good, the sandwich is never made to my specifications. The register service was very good, he was very helpful and patient and fine with putting in my numbers for points . I was torn between the hero which I have had before and in my opinion is one of firehouses better sandwiches but I thought I would try something different and went with the Italian , I would probably not get this sandwich again the bread to meat ratio is off the pepperoni and salami are sliced paper thin and should probably be doubled up on this sandwich as is the sandwich is doughy but the ingredients are fresh from now on I would just stick to the hero. When I'm in the Waldorf area, I often stop by this location and get my usual, the medium Firehouse Meatball combo with chips and a bottled drink. I order on the app and it's typically ready by the time I arrive although I sometimes have to wait while they prepare my sandwich. I'm usually in and out and am always satisfied with my meal. Something I noticed during my last visit and didn't at first...the bottled sodas are not 20 oz! (Well it wasn't during my last visit) They are 16.9 oz bottles. I wasn't even aware that was a thing but happened to notice one day as I was looking at my drink. It's not a huge deal as I shouldn't be drinking that much soda anyway but it was jarring because I was expecting the typical 20 oz bottle. Decided to get a salad to have for lunch during my work day and settled on the Hook & Ladder. The food was picked up the night before by my mom so I didn't see it until pulling it out for lunch the next day. It was full of toppings such as cucumber, cheese, peppers and tomato. Underneath a MOUNTAIN of meat and very little lettuce that was mostly stems. First and last time getting a salad from this place. I love firehouse subs and I loved this location. The servers are so nice and the location is well kept. As a franchise, firehouse subs is reasonably priced. But this establishment is polite and well kept. There was ample parking as well as seating. Kudos to one of the employees, the name said Jonathan on our receipt. He was very social and engaging. My fiance and I went on a weeknight and there was no line and the service was quick. He orders the Engineer and I ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch on wheat. We both agreed the TBR was better than the Engineer. I'm not sure if all the locations have this, but they had a cute kids corner. My only issue was my failure to notice the display of available sauces. I wish I saw this sooner to be able to try them with my sub. Otherwise, everything was on point. Can't wait for my next visit. I placed an online order and when i went to pick it up, the staff had not made the order. They were actually breaking down the equipment early and said they were only serving cold sandwiches. I explained that i had placed and online order and they just looked at each other in a daze. When i repeated my order, they acknowledged that they had received it. I explained that if they didn't want to or couldn't make it, i would accept a refund, however, apparently only the general manager can give refunds (he wasn't there). So i waited 15 minutes for them to fill my order, then i started getting excuses " we don't have this bread," "we don't have pickles," "we don't have lettuce." So it was decided that i would just come back the next day to get a refund. I was asked what time i was coming back, i explained that i had to work, so it would be closer to 4 or 5 pm. I came back the next day, they immediately tried to offer to make me the sandwiches. I explained that i no longer wanted the sandwiches, just a refund. I was the told that out of the four people working behind the counter, no one could give me a refund. They call the manager and he told me i had two choices, let them make the sandwich or come back the next day for a refund. I explained that this was unacceptable, as this was the second day that i was here to get a refund. He again explained, with no apologies, that those were my two choices. Also, the manger never explained that he leaves everyday at 4 pm. Long story short, i ended up calling corporate who agreed that it should have been handled differently and explained that someone above the manager would be contacting me. I still have not received a call, email, or smoke signal from anyone. I eventually had to contest the charge via my bank. After five days, i finally got my money back. This is the most ghetto sub shop I've ever been to. Do not suggest going. It is apparently under new management and has new untrained employees. read more

This is by far the slowest establishment I have ever gone to to get a sub. I put in a online order and then still waited for 20 mins for my sub. This is crazy. The staff looks at you like your not speaking English and are spinning circles in the center of the kitchen. Then after 30 mins I went back to the register and they said they put my order on the rack. Smh read more

Realizing it was New Years Eve, I called around noon to see what time they were closing, and was told 8 PM. When we placed an online order just after 5 PM , we received a phone call about 5 minutes later informing us they actually closed at 5. I was told by the FH manager they were very busy with online and call in orders and I would have to wait 8 to 10 minutes to place and order. I wasn't sure what to think of this place, I had never been to a firehouse subs before. The decoration is inviting, they had several employees behind the counter, and it smelled good. I immediately noticed while looking at the menu that they didn't have fries. How do you not sell fries when you're a sub place ?! I'm not a chip person when it comes to dinner. I came with my husband who "wasn't hungry" and he didn't want to eat because he was going to the gym. So while deciding on what to order, he suggested I get the turkey bacon ranch. I was tied between a few sandwiches, but I ended up getting that. The combo (drink and chips) comes out to about $10. The food took a while to come out for just a sandwich. There was a lot of people behind the counter and it wasn't all that busy. But I guess since they're new they'll probably get it together soon. Overall I really enjoyed my sandwich and my husband who wasn't hungry ate the other half when I offered him a bite so he must have enjoyed it as well! We also asked for a sample of the brisket because I'm picky when it comes to that, but I prefer the brisket meat from Asados grill over theirs. My family comes to this location A LOT!.....today I was super disappointed. We placed our order online like we always do. I get there and still had to wait a good 10mins because our food hadn't even been made yet. So ok cool I'll let it slide I get it lunch time busy ok cool....we get home my son's sandwich has no sauce on it all literally just bacon and chicken umm where are the other fixings?!? I husband opens his sandwich and barely any meat at all and also missing fixings....I will say we've usually always gone around dinner time. But I didn't think lunch time would be any different. My husband and I ate here tonight and it was our first ever visit to a Firehouse Subs. I must say we were very pleasantly surprised! It was a Wednesday night about 8:00 and they were pretty busy. Several people took carry out orders and there were quite a few other diners inside with us. My husband got a medium (8 in.) Meatball Sub and I got a a medium New York Steamer. We both thought the subs were delicious! One of the main things that stood out to us was how soft and fresh the bread was...it really made the sub! I thought there was a good portion of meat on the sub and they weren't stingy on the toppings either. We added a combo (2.39) to get a bag of chips and a drink. They have those Coca-cola Freestyle machines which I am not a fan of at all! The Coke just doesn't taste the same coming out of those as it does a regular fountain machine. I think I'm in the minority for not liking these but I just don't care for them! They did have Sweet Tea in a separate dispenser which was decent so I chose that instead. All in all it was a good visit and I definitely look forward to coming back again. There were a couple different subs that looked pretty tasty that I'd like to try! read more

I used yelps grub hub delivery to order two subs. The steak and cheese and the brisket sandwich! The subs were delish! The bread was soft and hot, the meat was hot and toppings were fresh! I was surprised that everything tasted so fresh as if I were eating in the establishment. The delivery person was quick, nice and it was very easy to place my order. My order arrived in less than 40 minutes and I live in a rural area. I will definitely be ordering from the Waldorf Firehouse subs. I ordered delivery and the order took over 2 hrs to arrive and then it had a sub missing. When I called to ask about the sub, the person on the phone was very rude. She told me that they would send another sub but I had to wait, they had two more orders ahead of mine. I ordered a pickup order from them on a Sunday not realizing that they were not open. I go into the store the next day at 12:30 to inquire about the order. A very rude woman behind the counter tells me that it's sitting on the wall for pickup since they opened in the morning. When I inquired about a fresh meal or why wasn't I contacted her attitude was rude and unprofessional. She refused to make a new One or apologize for the over site of my bag being the only one on the self all morning.
