I've been frequenting the Ramsey chick fil a drive thru a lot recently. Today parts of my order were incorrect. The way they handled it was in true chick fil a fashion, but with everything that's going on right now, I didn't expect them to go above and beyond the way the way they typically do. The manager thanked me for my kindness and gave me coupons and extra food items in my bag. No one should have to thank anyone for their kindness in times like these, but chick fil a values their customers like no other. I did the online ordering hoping it would be fast and easy. It wasn't. I was in my car for 30 minutes. There should be a separate line for those who ordered ahead. The girl taking orders was very pleasant, so that was a plus. My family does love their original sandwiches as well as the spicy ones. I rated it a 4 based on the amount of time we needed to wait, which isn't easy with hungry kids in the car. read more

Went opening day - and for such a busy day, it took less than 20 minutes to park, stand in line, order, and receive food! For the first day (which was also VERY busy), I'd say that's very impressive! My only wish was that there was more indoor seating & a play area for kids. I'm interested to see how the large outdoor space works out, given the cold winters & humid summers. The double drive thru should alleviate some of the congestion, though that will probably continue to be a concern until the "new restaurant" commotion dies down. The staff is friendly and competent. They always get the order right. They do need more staff in the drive-thru though.

Chicken Sandwich and lemonade always the best. The French fries sometimes not cooked well.

We ordered some delivery to our office. I'm not disputing the food tastes ok, but the prices for the food I ordered is a bit ridiculous. $4+ for 6pc nugget & small waffle fries at $2+. The fried nuggets were paltry. Each piece not even a inch in size. If placed end to end it could possibly measure up to ONE very thin chicken finger. The fries were decent. If you're looking for a new Chick-fil-A stay away from here definitely not the place to come Teterboro is more organized food is a lot better. I know this is fast food but unless you want looks like two day old sandwich mix with burnt rubbery garbage and uncooked fries come here especially with the attitude and unprofessionalism it certainly goes well with the restaurant. And that's coming from a manager standpoint from both the interception of paying and working with them with the rewards. I must admit that the chicken is awesome. Very satisfied with what I paid for and what I consumed. I am confident you will enjoy your meal. HOWEVER, a problem lurks but it has nothing to do with the chicken. The major issue is the location and customer volume. The restaurant itself is very small and cannot seat more than perhaps 15 people. The demand is so great that the traffic spills out onto Route 17 which can be heavy volume at times and it is an accident waiting to happen. The indoor restaurant itself should be much bigger and the parking itself is very limited. Poor overall planning but very good food. Overall, pick your poison! read more

Stopped here on my lunch break to pick up my online order, there was a huge line in the highway. I pulled over and asked the parking lot attendant where to go and he was beyond rude and gave me an attitude. I ended up canceling my order. This was one of the weirdest experiences of my life. We went through the drive thru and there were so many workers outside doing the job of normal drive thru automation. Actual people in the FREEZING cold took our order and then other people ran back and forth telling the other workers who were outside who's order was next. Then instead of pulling up to the window and picking up our food people handed it the two feet between us and the window. It was so strange. I get the idea of providing more jobs but also it was legitimately freezing and was a DRIVE THRU. We've kind of perfected the very simple technology of placing an order in your car and then driving up and receiving it. It seemed completely unnecessary and even inhumane to the workers. I get you're trying to make it seem like it's customer forward but also take care of your employees. Also the fries could have been cooked longer. They were quite flaccid. Just all in all. Very very weird. The food was fine... as is chick-fil-a. It's always fine.... Essentially, every chick-fil-a is the same. No matter what location you visit, the food is prepared identically. What sets this location apart from every other location is their ability to churn out massive amounts of food via 2 drive thru lanes. Every time i visit, i am pleasantly surprised how quickly my order is prepared and without mistake. The food is 5 out of 5 like almost all Chick-fil-As. But the building/seating is so terrible. Why would you design a restaurant with little to no indoor seating in the middle of New Jersey? They have plenty of outdoor sitting, but it'll probably be useful for about 3 months out of the year. Seating is so cramped, might as well be sitting at 1 picnic table with everyone in the restaurant. The line also wraps around next to the seats, so everyone is huddled around you as you eat. They need to consider putting some type of walls or windows around the outdoor area to extend the interior seating or this place will just always be hell to eat at. Stick to the drive thru or go to Paramus Park, at least they have an entire food court to eat in at. read more

Was it busy? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. Went for lunch today at 11:30, and went through the drive-thru. Was about 5 cars in-front of me, and they had young adults taking orders as opposed to ordering through a speaker system. Ordered the two strip kids meal and it was hot and fresh. The strips were flavorful and delicious. They had a great crunch and all white meat. The dipping sauce was the original sauce, and the fries were crispy and still hot. Typical Chick-fil-a food - served fresh. However this place is VERY small and don't plan to eat here in cold weather. Only 4 tables with 12 seats, and 10 bar height stools in a combo seating/waiting area. Some additional seats outside. If you sit inside the people waiting in line are literally right next to you. I ALMOST VOMITED ON THE WAY IN. Disgusting. The floor was so greasy I thought I was in a skating rink. The food made MY stomach SICK. I wish I could throw up on command because I don't want whatever they call "chicken". The place looks like it's about to fall apart and I would not be sad if it did. The only service I got was this mood teenager and I think she hated the place as much as I did. The food looks like it came from a port a potty. We go here often when we don't have time to cook at home. Our girls love the nuggets, waffle fries and frosted lemonade drinks. Today we went through the drive through. This was the first time my wife and I ordered salads...the lemon kale Caesar salad with grilled chicken to get specific. What we got was 1 salad and about 1/2 of a salad. No dressing for either, no chicken for either, no lemon wedges for either. We did get roasted almonds (not part of this salad - part of a different salad on the menu). Unfortunately we just saw that we had the salads and didn't check for the ingredients that were missing until we got home. Too far to drive all the way back. I'd say next time we'll check for the correct ingredients....but there probably won't be a next time. Incredibly disappointed. read more

I have been very disappointed with this location! Specifically the employees that put together the order. My family and I have now been there twice and each time they have forgotten something. We live in New York and it is a treat to be able to pick this up on the way home, so you could imagine the disappointment when we arrive home to food missing. Food is fine but this is the most poorly designed Chic-fil-A I've been in. The "restaurant" has literally 4 tables to sit at. In addition there are about 10 stools where you can either sit against the wall or at one long table. Lots of outdoor seating but that's not too useful when it's 20 degrees out. If you are going to dangerously going to place a busy restaurant and it's dangerous entry and exit on a state route exit on/off ramp, then maybe you shouldn't be taking endless amounts of orders and you should cap the number you take. I tried to come grab my online order today and was waived on without explanation by a mid 60s/70s y/o man (how can you make someone like this work during covid, shame on you) as he yelled at me that I couldn't enter the pickup line and I couldn't stop. I'm outraged with the service here. I got here at 7:20 and it is now 8:10 and I just got asked for my order. There were about 15 cars behind me that went in a different line and now I am the last person out of both lines. I will not get my meal for probably another 20 minutes. They need to figure out how to work their drive thru lines because they're not doing it correctly. First responder....waited over an hour to place my order..... after receiving food I asked the your man that gave me my order if everything ordered was in my bag , he responded yes.... when I arrived home with dinner for the family I was short one sandwich..... I was SO disappointed in this Chic fil A. I lived in Georgia for 8 years,and have been to many Chick Fil A's down there,including the original. I also have one that I go to often in Manhattan. Every single 1 of them epitomizes customer service and is always a lovely experience. The New one in Ramsey doesn't even come close. I went there for breakfast the other day. I sat in the drive-through line for 15 minutes. By the time I got to order, they told me that breakfast was now over and they would not honor my request even though I had been in line before they stopped serving breakfast. They said they had to left over chicken biscuits from breakfast and I could have those if I wanted to buy them. I was so angry. I will certainly never go back there again and give them any of my money. You would think as a new Franchise, they would at least do their best at the beginning. Apparently not. So let's start by saying the food is always great at chic fil a . The problem with this establishment is the lack of organization. It's confusing getting in, luckily there is a worker directing traffic. Once I get my order and pay the 2 lines form into 1. That when it gets worse. You would think that the people in the front of line would get there food first so it would move the traffic but it's not. There are people behind me getting food which is pointless because they are just going to sit there waiting because the line isn't moving. So I finally found the secret of getting their food: ordering through the mobile app. Started using it, and it was all good until last Saturday. I did my usual mobile take out order, drove from my house to this location (30 minutes). By the time I arrived, I was told to continue driving in a loop (2 empty parking spaces were in sight) before anyone received tickets. I pulled over, spoke to a staff member who reminded me of this unprecedented time and that there was a bigger issue at hands. I thanked him for that (was going to remind him that issues abt parking, drive through existed before the unprecedented times namely covid-19 but decided to not do so), and requested to speak to the manager. The manager was very apologetic and professional, nonetheless, she recommended that I cancelled my order. If they were not able to fulfill the order fir whatever reasons, wouldn't it be more prudent to DECLINE the order placement to begin with? It sounds to me that corporate needs to look into the mobile application development to resolve this issue. Great geographical location, though not adequate space. After pleading with the store manager, she finally fulfilled my order. So this saga ended up well and I'm thankful for their help. read more
