Not such a great experience at this location on this day. I know the airport locations have limited footprint so it's really difficult with the high demand. The sweet ice tea was not sweet and did not have much ice so was quite warm. The Chick-fil-A sandwich was good. We could not get fries as the fryer for the waffle fries was not a dedicated one (so not GF) like they have at the normal standalone Chick-fil-A's. Back in the very end of May, my family were flying back home from a trip. My mother has mobility issues so the airport staff drove us all to our terminal. On the drive we passed Chick-Fil-A, and i decided once we got off to make the long walk back to get them food. The service was ridiculously quick. Person in front of me made a huge order! It was a 5 min wait for to make order 12 min total for food... and they worked on an order of 60 nuggets before me! Thats crazy! So i was super happy on my long way back. When i got there i got the disappointment that they got the order partially wrong. My mother's and brother's food was correct, mine was not. I decided it was not worth the long trek back. Food was pretty good, service not too bad, however you may or may not end up with what you ordered. As I was waiting for my food I chatted up some regulars who worked out at this airport location. They warned me that orders are constantly wrong or messed up somehow. As we waited, sure enough another customers entire order was lost and he had to reorder. So as I walked away with my food, I did make sure I had the right amount of items but it wasn't until I was long gone that I realized my order was wrong. I had ordered two breakfast egg sandwiches, one with cheese and one without. However, one of the sandwiches was a chicken breakfast sandwich, it was still good but not what I ordered. Super long line when I stopped in. My heart nearly stopped when a lady in front ordered 10 orders of chicken strips/nuggets and abother load of deconstructed sandwiches. Staff didn't seem phased. They were friendly with everyone in line, which moved very quickly and efficiently. No hiccup in the service. The sandwich I ordered was piping hot, tasty and juicy. I didn't get fries or a drink. This is the Chick-fil-A location inside the third level of hell that is the Minnesota-St. Paul Airport(see review). This is another standard CFA location. Since we were having such a great time on our layover(sarcasm alert), we decided to grab some chicken sandwiches. All the employees were very kind and helpful. Even though there was a line both times I was here, they moved through it fairly quickly. I guess the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is the price. Yes, I know it is inside an airport. I don't care. Two drinks and two sandwiches should not have to cost a person nearly $14. I paid it though. I love being able to grab some Chick-Fil-A between flights. On a recent cross country journey from NYC to San Diego, Delta (of course) routed me through MSP. I had a 6:00 am flight out of JFK and so a tired, disoriented and coffee-less Bill stumbled out of the plane a few hours later, cranky and hungry. But what to my wondering eyes did appear, this Chick-Fil-A! They were still serving breakfast and for a moment I was disappointed, but then I saw they had spicy chicken biscuits with little hash browns and I was sold! Like everyone else, I love chick fil A. The spicy chicken sandwiches is the best ever. I've tasted the chicken nuggets and the waffle fries . But my go to is alway the plain spicy chicken sandwich. So, since I was in a super big rush today running from one airport terminal to the other in St. Paul Minneapolis, chick fil A was there for me. I had about 30 minutes and wanted to sit and savor my crispy, spicy sandwich. Unfortunately all of the order stalls were down so we had a wait in one long line to order. This took about 15 minutes and then another 10 just to get my food. I had just enough time to get to my gate. I'm so sorry to all my fellow flier for eating that sandwich on the plane. I just couldn't help it. I was hungry. Hopefully on my way back home the order stalls will be fixed so the next person sitting next to me doesn't have to smell my food. read more

Located in the C concourse in MSP, it's the one spot here where there is consistently a line. That said, THEY ARE REALLY FAST HERE! We ordered for us and the kiddos and the food was up before I'd paid. Extra stars for the efficiency here! So, it's a smaller airport location and thus has a modified menu(I'll add a pic of the menu to my review). So don't go excepting everything. However, I love Chick-fill-a so I'll take what I can get. It's very popular and often the line is long which can be rough if you are on a time limit to catch a flight. I'm at this airport a lot for work and I can say that several times I have tried to run a get something here for lunch but the line was so long I knew I couldn't take the chance of being late for my fight. The service is generally very good. I love getting the sausage biscuit for breakfast. It's less than $2.50 and is absolutely delicious. read more

I was happy to see this one in MSP, F Terminal, but disappointed in a couple of things: 1. Didn't get the correct order. Normally I will go back and asked them to correct, but it was chaotic. 2. A little dirtier than I remember from other Chick-fil-As. 3. There was no "my pleasure". Ok, the 3rd remark is just me nit-picking, but I appreciate the "My Pleasure" from the employees. The sandwich I did get was fresh and quite tasty. All the employees seemed to be working to get everyone their orders in a timely manner - and there was an apology for the wait. The employees here are slightly less nice than what I'm used to from Chickfila's in North Carolina, but the food is still super noms and the sweet tea is still the same...aside from the fact that the lemonade is a bit more pulpy. Meeps. I always get the spicy chicken sandwich!! And ask for Chickfila sauce!! yummmm..I put that on the sandwich and use it w/ my fries. For drink, I get an arnold palmer with sweet tea. Order was ready before I had time to take out my wallet. -- Waffle Fries and fried chicken... if you don't like both those things, you need to take a hard look in the mirror to figure out where it all went wrong. Was completely closed at 5 pm on a Monday. Even though signs indicated it was open in Terminal 7, it was closed. We had rushed to the terminal, only to find it closed. Ok so this was a first. I was walking past the "soon to be open" Chick-fil-a in the F concourse and thought to myself that it was sad it wasn't open yet. I happen to make eye contact with the girl behind the counter over the "closed for training" sign. She said to go around the barrier and come over so me and another gentleman went up to the counter. She explained that they were training and could we help by placing an order. I believe her name was Stephanie. The employees seemed nervous but were all helpful. I ordered a chicken sandwich and some nuggets. She offered me a drink while I waited and the sweet tea was delicious. The sandwich took a few minutes but as this was one of their first orders, I was impressed. My nuggets were cooked right, the sandwich met expectations and she even gave me waffle fries. The fact that it was free helped but this was a nice experience. If they keep up the friendly service and the tasty food, this place will do well in this terminal. Then I found out there's a deluxe version and wanted to switch. They didn't figure out a way but quickly decided to offer me the upgrade without charge. I love Chick-fil-a and we were pumped that there was one at the airport... and that it wasn't Sunday. The line was long, but they worked through it quickly and the staff was really nice. The reason for the 3 star is because the food just didn't taste the same as I've had at other chick-fil-a stops. The chicken seemed a little dryer and the buns not as fluffy. Maybe they were preparing a lot of food ahead of time to be prepared for the rush of people, but something wasn't up to the par of my usual experience with the chain. Not sure the reason for the negative reviews I see on line for this location. There was a decent size line, like at all Chick Fil-A locations, but the workers got my order and food processed quickly enough. (Full disclosure: I had a long time before my flight and so was not rushed.) The food was good as always. The people at the counter were pleasant enough and did not seem rude at all. I would eat here again. A couple of points I should give you: (1) Because it is an airport location, the prices are a bit higher than normal. The basic meal (sandwich, fries, and a cola) was almost $10, and I think the normal price in stores is about $6. But everything costs more at the airport, so who should be surprised? (2) This location does not have the scanners at the register to scan the app on your phone to pay or to collect points for a future free item. The Chick Fil-A web site provides a way to collect points by going on line and entering information from your receipt if you missed scanning your phone app. However, this location and the others in airports, hospitals, and college campuses are considered franchises, not regular restaurants. They do not have scanners and do not have a standard 5-number location number. That means you cannot scan your phone and you cannot collect points by going on line. You did not miss a scan here because scans are not possible here. Understand all that? Basically you can forget collecting points here and at similar locations. I called Chick Fil-A customer service to ask, and they told me the story I have written above. But the food is still good. I would not skip eating here just because I cannot get points on the app. read more
