So even though I've lived in this neighborhood for over a decade, I don't eat around here very much. But I noticed some appreciation for Chick N' Chips here on Yelp, so I strolled over and had a chicken tender dinner. And those chicken tenders get an A++. They were plump and light and juicy and perfectly cooked. I took one reviewer's advice and got the three-piece, and I agree that three was enough. They are nice and big, and the dinner comes with plenty of fries. And the fries were yummy too. The dinner also came with "bread". I put that in quotations as if it isn't really bread, but in fact, bread is quite exactly what it is. It's as if they bought a loaf of regular sliced bread, put a couple of slices in a toaster, set the toaster to its lightest option, and popped them out before they were done. I didn't really need the bread. The dinner also claims to come with coleslaw, but I didn't get any. I forgot about that until after I'd left. There are a lot of other items on the menu, some of which are other types of chicken. I am definitely going to come back and try some of it, and I am definitely going to come back just for the chicken tenders. I'm kind of stoked that I can get such good chicken for takeout nearby.

An utter gem located in HmongTown Marketplace!…read more When I went, I was floored by the prices. Usually, in these inflation-ridden times, I find myself aghast at how high prices have gotten. But at Rose's Kitchen, I was stunned by how low the prices were. On the day I went, the restaurant was offering a dine-in special - a bowl of pho for 5 DOLLARS! And even more shocking, the bowl wasn't tiny. It was actually a decent portion of piping hot broth with a generous amount of noodles and a nice amount of meat. And the pho was delicious! If that wasn't crazy enough, the restaurant offered other specials like 2 sesame balls for $1 and 2 meat skewers for $5. Because I was hungry, I took advantage of both of these deals. The sesame balls were large and had plenty of filling, and the skewers were meaty boys. Everything was so tasty. The sesame balls were fried perfectly, and the meat on the skewers was tender and flavorful. I also got naab vaam (the tri color dessert) and a green cream soda drink that I forgot the name of. Both were refreshing and sweet. So I got a bowl of pho, 2 meat skewers, 2 sesame balls, dessert, and a drink - and it was all for 21 DOLLARS. And the chef was so, so sweet. Friendly and attentive and even refilled my naab vaam with coconut milk FOR FREE. One of the highlights of my trip to the Twin Cities and somewhere I will definitely go to again when I'm in the area, which I hope is soon

It is located in a small strip plaza and you just walk in to be seated. They are extremely busy with people seated to eat and to-go orders. When I arrived, someone was cleaning tables, taking payment, and delivering food to tables. This was all being done by the same person. He directed me to a table, gave me a menu, and brought me a glass of water with a straw. He was moving about the restaurant taking orders, cashing people out, cleaning tables, and delivering food the entire time I was there. He came to get my order after about ten minutes. I ordered the Seoul sampler with the soy garlic sauce on the chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal. The chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was crunchy and flavorful. There was a lot of food too. I ended up taking some back to my hotel and eating it later. It was hard not going back to this restaurant during my stay, but I wanted to try different places. It took about fifteen minutes for my food to arrive at the table and bulgogi fries came out first on a separate plate. This sampler is a good representation of several of their menu items. I recommend getting it if you are new to this restaurant. I paid $46 after adding a tip.

The server was friendly but he was super busy because it seemed like he was the only server who was also taking care of to-go orders. The food was ready relatively fast. I was disappointed in the taste of it because a few pieces of the chicken were a little dry and some of them weren't the type of crunchy you would expect of Korean fried chicken. The restaurant is spacious and clean.

We got a 30-wing combo thing that came with the wings and fries. The fries were not desirable at all, tried a few, thought nawwww, fries can't be that bad, tried it again and was sure that these may be the worst fries I've ever had. But I didn't go to Wingstop for the fries, so I didn't let that bother me too much! We got three different flavors and enjoyed them all! First up, hot honey rub - this one was my favorite. This is probably my favorite wing with a dry spice rub. It had a little kick with a little taste of sweetness. Soooo good! Next was the spicy Korean Q. It was good. I didn't have any spice in mine, it was more like a teriyaki sauce. Nonetheless, super good! Not knowing how spicy the first two were, we had to order safe one for the kiddo. We went with the lemon pepper. It wasn't my choice, I just agreed. But I was actually really happy we went with it! Great amount of tangy then the salt and pepper was perfect. We will be visiting Wingstop again soon!
