I saw the great reviews, so I had to try it out. I was waiting to pick up my wife from the airport and needed a bite to eat. This place looks like average mall food, but it is not. I decided to give it a chance, and I made the right decision. This location is next to the Home Depot and Target in Richfield. You'll have to take the roundabout and then take a right into the parking lot. In the picture, you'll see the store front is easy to spot. Also, you'll see a patio on the right side of the building. When you walk in, you'll see a kiosk and an easy-to-read menu above the kitchen. The staff are willing to explain the menu and show you how to use the kiosk. The staff recommended chicken and guacamole rice bowl. It was delicious. The chicken was roasted and tender. The guacamole was silky and well-seasoned. I also ordered a watermelon energizer iced drink. I loved it. Please note they also have one large TV in the seating area. They told me they play all the Minnesota Vikings games. I would like you to try it and give me your thoughts.

I tried Toma Mojo Grill for the first time tonight and I did NOT regret it! I needed a quick dinner after a long day at work so I decided to stop in and give it a try. I was immediately impressed by the variety on the menu and the wonderful, patient staff. The garlic grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was like comfort food in the best way. And the brussels sprouts had the perfect savory crisp. They sell a few alcoholic beverages including beer, seltzers, wine, and sangrias. The seating areas were clean and spacious. I decided to sit outside since it was a beautiful evening! I think this is a perfect spot to grab lunch or dinner, especially if you are also making a stop at the nearby Target or Home Depot. I will definitely be coming back to Toma again!

I'm so glad I we went out of our way to check this place out! It was so good!! We started with the Brussel spouts. They were amazing! My mom got the sample platter. It had a nice variety of food. The fries, pork and chicken were delish! We loved the variety of sauces that came with it. I had the banza (sp) salad. It was pretty good. I really liked the tomato bread on the side. The chicken on top was juicy and flavorful. My son got a sandwich and it was Soo good! My other son ordered a kids meal and it was healthy and delicious. I can't wait to come back. I'm looking forward to having a glass of sangria on their patio!

The people who helped us today were very hospitable and the food was delicious and made to order. I like the piri-piri sauce and the sangrias are nice too. Plenty of seating and the space is not too crowded.

Toma is a Mojo Grill restaurant inspired by Spain and Portugal cuisine. My partner and I bought the sampler which came with pulled pork, a chicken leg, 3 sauces and fries for $14. The sauces are AMAZING. I would buy bottles of the piri piri sauce. The chicken leg was delicious, tender and flavorful. The pork was fatty and had good flavor but might have had too much fat for my liking. The fries were very crispy and well seasoned - my only complaint is for the amount of sauce they gave, I wish they gave more fries. The staff said they'll be adding sangria to the menu soon so I will definitely be sipping wine on their cute little patio when that happens. But overall this place reminded us of Nandos and we are huge fans. Will definitely be back again!

Cool spot for yummy food! I actually went during their grand opening so this review is a little late lol. The service was great though! I ordered a salad & my friends ordered the meal plate which came with roasted chicken, roasted brussels sprouts, and a side of bread. It was pretty good! Chicken was nicely seasoned. Nothing crazy, just simple and yummy. You def need to try all the sauces tho. Those were bomb!! It def adds more to the meal so DON'T SKIP THE SAUCE!

I ordered the Piri Chicken Mac online for pick up about three hours later. When I arrived it was on the to-go shelf so I could just grab it and go, no hassle! The silver and plastic ware are right there on the counter between the o-go rack and the cash register, another easy concept. My food was hot and not good...but...deeeelcious! I am new to Toma so I hadn't ordered it yet and had forgot what was all in the bowl so I was delightfully surprised when I saw the corn and red peppers in it! Thanks Toma for a delicious lunch and a seamless ordering and picking up process. Cheers!

The best way I can describe it: it feels like eating breakfast inside the coolest thrift store you've ever stumbled into -- except somehow everything in it is something you wish you owned. Came here because of all the amazing reviews and the photos of the inside are so cute, yet everything was mediocre. Coffee - bad Chai latte - not good Food - mediocre, bland Service - blah and slow Decor - quaint, quirky and cute, really the only reason for the extra star Additionally, I ordered a dirty chai latte with 2 shots of espresso. He charged me the $6.50 for the latte listed on the menu, then $1.50 for one "Xtra Espresso Shot," then $4.00 for an "Espresso." When I questioned it, he brought the menu and tried to say it's $4.00 for an espresso so he was being nice by not charging $8.00 for the 2 add shots... BRO, you have a button ON THE REGISTER for "Xtra Espresso Shot" for a reason. You hit it twice for 2 add shots on the latte I'm already paying for. $3.00 for 2 add shots on a latte is reasonable, $5.50 is insane. Should have been $9.50 for a double dirty chai latte, he charged me $12.00 and thought he was being nice not charging $14.50. And it wasn't even good. Won't be coming back. Disappointed. I shouldn't even be surprised, but I was so shocked I am already writing this review right after we got home. This place is soooo overrated.

HAVAN-A-MAZING LUNCH…read more If a top-tier Cuban sandwich is what you seek, look no further than Guava's. Located a mile northwest of Minneapolis Int'l Airport, this quaint Cuban restaurant was highly recommended to us by a friend.  We stopped here after visiting Como Park Zoo and enjoyed a great lunch as well as some A+ plane-watching, since Guava's is directly in the flightpath of landing jets. I started with a Bent Paddle pilsner ($6.50), and my wife got a michelada ($8) which she said was a good value and "made the right way".  There's a decent amount of seating inside as well as tables outside, although it can get noisy at times due to the nearby airport. The Cubano ($18) was one of the best either of us has ever tried: pulled pork, ham, salami, pickles, mustard, mayo, and Swiss cheese on grilled panini bread.  It came with lightly salted plantain chips and a small cup of house hot sauce.  Amazing, no notes.   5/5 The lechon asado rice bowl ($16) was equally terrific.  Delicious roasted pork - including some magical burnt ends that had me in ASMR heaven - came with black beans and maduros (sweet plantains) over cilantro rice.  Fabulous mingling of flavors and textures.  5/5 We got a side of Yuca frita ($7) w/cilantro aioli but these were almost an afterthought; my wife and I were too obsessed with our entreés to pay much attention to these lil' starchy sticks.  They have tres leches cake for dessert but we opted for a flan ($7) instead, and it was OK. * TL;DR * I'm glad that Guava's didn't try anything too clever with the Cubano, preferring to keep it classic and focus on quality. The aesthetics inside are charming, soft mint green walls with a mix of white counters and darker wood.  Staff were friendly and the food came out relatively fast.  They have a nice selection of local draft beers and plenty of great Cuban coffee. I would absolutely recommend Guava's to anyone in the Minneapolis-St Paul area, especially if they're interested in trying one of the best Cuban sandwiches of their lives.

Everything was going well until, suddenly, a staff member approached our table without greeting or explanation and told us, "You have to leave now." Naturally, I asked why, and he replied, "We need your tables... , " Is there a time limit? I asked, Yes, when we are busy," then walked away. As you can imagine, the group was quite shocked. The interaction felt abrupt and out of character with the hospitality we've come to associate with the restaurant. I did my best to calm everyone and encourage them to continue enjoying their time, but the moment left a lasting impression. I want to be clear--this is not about assigning blame or raising concerns about bias. Our group was diverse, and I believe the issue was more about how the situation was handled than anything else. The star is that dreamy swirl of pink rose-and-raspberry whipped topping on top. It's creamy, fragrant, and -- most importantly -- genuinely not too sweet. The rose and berry accents are elegant and balanced, finished with rose petals and a touch of pink crumble petals for texture.
