I work for door dash and so far sometimes I get rated poorly for the restaurant missing items. I can't open the delivery bags but trust the employees will get it right. I ordered for myself and they got my online order wrong. However Michele (possibly not a manager) replaced my order and made it right. It depends on who is working. A few of the managers are rude ignore dashers, and lobby guests while on their phones. While their staff and leads perform BETTER by attentiveness and service. Overall it depends on who is serving. When its bad its bad, if its good its worth it. They should and could work on consistency and re evaluating management attitude and quality of service. read more

I frequently order here for myself and my store team. My most recent order has been a nightmare. I ordered breakfast around 8:30. After waiting 2 hours without a delivery, I called to see what was going on. The manager on duty said my order was stuck in "the que" and asked if I'd be willing to change it to a lunch order. I work in customer service too, so obviously I was willing to be patient and understanding and switched our order to lunch. After waiting another 2 hours with no delivery, I canceled my order since most of my employees were about to end their shift. No hard feelings, things happen. The issue came a week later when noticing they still charged my card for the order. I have called on 3 separate days and explained the situation and asked to be refunded the money. All 3 times, I have been told that someone from Admin will be calling me. It has been 2 weeks, and STILL no refund. I keep calling and they still are making it completely difficult to get a refund EVEN WITH RECEIPTS AND SCREENSHOTS. Like I said, I work in customer service and have been nothing but calm and patient with every single employee I've spoken to, but it seems like Admin/Management is dodging me and wanting me to give up. Chick-fil-a has great food. I've never had a bad experience food wise, but the service at this location is a little off. I went to pick up my curbside order and there literally was one man taking orders out. If I had to guess, he was gathering the orders as well. It took that long before he came out with the next order. I was in a hurry which is why I ordered ahead, but it seems the drive thru would have been more efficient. I really like the smoothness of their app. It has gotten so much better over the past year and the rewards are very nice. It's great for curbside, drive thru, and delivery. read more

The service at the Marbach location is no exception to the exceptional quality experience one has come to expect from this chain. When this location opened up I was a little wary because other chains in the same area fall below the average experience. The fact this location has weathered the local talent pool and kept the bar high speaks bounds for their corporate paradigm and I for one dig it. Will be back again and again. I have tried almost the whole menu and have not found something that I do not like. My particular favorites are the number one, Cobb salad, or their chicken strips. Their waffle fries are so good. I put in a mobile order when I was exiting highway 90 and upon arrival the there were Atleast 8 people all squished in the Mobile area... once they cleared out I thought great, my order should be coming up... well people coming in after me had checked in and left yet I was .. still standing there... apparently they lost my order in the computer.. couldn't find it.. kept checking with different people .. different monitors .. chaos ... this is not about the staff don't yell at everybody. I wanna start off by saying I used to work at chick fi la a couple years back. I also in general know how long it takes to fry chicken. I selected to do curbside (usually I do drive thru) on my lunch break. I arrived and waited. I watched the cars keep going through the drive thru but barely anyone had gotten their curbside orders. I kept waiting thinking they needed more filets (I ordered an original sandwich) but 13 minutes passed before I went to the drive thru. The attendant went in and checked and told me to pull up, when I finally got the window, it was at the 17 minute marker. I asked why it had taken so long and she said "I don't know, I just had the bag handed to me a couple seconds ago". My food was lukewarm at best but I needed to get home so I could get back to work. I didn't have any time to eat. It was rather upsetting because had I only had a 30 minute lunch I would have been up a you-know-whats creek with no paddle. I also know the order wasn't "bumped" off the monitor, so the time should be there. Went at around 5:30. I won't be going to this location again. Yes finally a chick fil A that's close by. This location is super convenient! It's always busy but it's worth the wait! Chick Fil A is the one fast food place that I could everyday for the rest of my life. It's so good and you can never go wrong with any item on the menu! This location is very clean and the staff is so nice! They are fast even though it's always busy and my order is always correct! The inside is clean and the playground is clean! Definitely recommend visiting this location and also checking out the mobile app! I use it religiously every time I'm there I swipe my app card. You can earn points to get free items! My family and myself love Chick fil a. Always quick, even with a long line, they simply have employees ready to greet you and take order. This is the first time I have ever had to wait. Disappointing as there were no cars, no cars imagine that?! in the drive through so when I drove up to 2 ready to greet me employees, i gave my order, they direct me to outside cashier since i was paying cash, so i pay cash and ask for some chick fil a sauce. (I only ordered a 3 piece strip and small lemonade). I get to window and other outside employee tells me to go up as she is going inside. I exchange pleasantries with manager about day, and after a minute or two, I am asked to go around to wait for some "fresh strips". So, now there is one car behind, so i do dutifully pull around a bit disappointed as i thought, like always, this would be a quick grab and go. I wait, and wait...then finally i see an employee come outside with an order in hand looking for someone, i call out, and ask if that was the strips, she looks down at ticket and replies no, and proceeds to take this meal to a car who had only recently parked!! She asks if i had come through drive through and says she will go check. Shortly returning with my meal...minus the sauce i requested. Disappointed, with typical great customer service would have expected at least an upgraded order or additional strips for the wait, but, i guess this isn't my usual chick fil a, just closest to my children's karate class. I absolutely dislike going to Chic-fil-A on Marbach and 410. Their service is really bad and the order takers that stand outside always seem grouchy. You can tell they really hate their job. I would rather go to McDonald's right across the street than have to order from the people that stand outside but my son has digestive problems and can only eat grilled chicken nuggets. Today as usual, I placed three separate orders and the lady kept rushing me and made it clear that I can ONLY place three orders. Fine, I can take my money where they don't mind if I place three orders or more. What does it matter anyway? Got to the pick-up window, the girl handed me a wrong order. I gave it back and waited for them to give me the correct order. No smile, not even a thank you, just very angrily shoved the bag in my hands. It's not my fault if you cant get the orders correct. We were in a good mood before placing the order but left feeling very disappointed. I expected a higher level of customer service from this restaurant. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, I arrived home to find my order was wrong again. I called to see if I can get a refund but was placed on hold and no one ever came to the phone. UPDATE: I called back later that same day and spoke with the Marketing Director and she said she was not able to give me a refund but would replace the entire meal. I thought, wow that's great. She said I could go through the drive-thru to pick it up since my son is disabled. She said she was making note of this information in the books for reference. I made sure with her before hanging up the phone that it would be ok to go through the drive-thru and she said yes. They should not give me any hassle. She said she would let them know and it would be all set. Fast forward to today, 04/02/2019. My husband goes in to pick up my sons replacement order through the drive-thru and with our luck, the marketing director is not in and they start being rude and giving my husband a lot of hassle. This is exactly what I was afraid of but the marketing director reassured me that she would let them know. So my husband calls me from the drive-thru and tells me that they do not want to honor the replacement order. Ok, so I get on the phone and immediately call Chick-fil-A and the manager is on the phone with me. She says they cannot give my husband the order because the marketing director had not spoken to them about us picking it up through the drive-thru. I explained that my son is disabled and cannot go inside for the order. After five minutes on the phone with her trying to explain the situation, she still did not understand so I told her to go check the books. She puts me on hold and finally comes back. She says she did not know that the marketing director had given us permission to go through the drive-thru so they finally gave my husband the correct meal but he said they were very rude and weird about it. This is exactly what should NOT happen from a Christian establishment. To avoid this from happening again, we will be taking our business elsewhere. The owner read the review I placed on Google and was extremely upset with us. Not once did he sincerely apologize, instead he blamed us for being negative customers. What he said about us is totally untrue and he also exposed our names that were given to the marketing director. read more
