Hi, had a terrible experience. we were in the drive thru for what felt like an eternity (20 minutes), there was barely anybody in front of us. my friend and i ordered brownies, a medium fry and two cookies and cream shakes. we finally get our food and the shakes are melted, so melted to where you wouldn't know if we got whipped cream. that's how melted they were and not to mention they were warm. as for the brownies, they were squished under our fries. don't go here if you want to have a good day. read more

As a family, Chick-fil-A is alway our go to during family road trips. Along with In-N-Out as a very good backup. Primarily due to orders being accurate. We were very excited to have a Chick-fiil-A open in town. Unfortunately, they screw up the orders 9 times out of 10. Guessing that is due to FZ that has this location. Listen to your customers and make sure that you get their orders right. The last thing a dedicated customer wants is to return to the store and go inside to get the drive through or App order right. In-N-Out gets it right 99% of the time. Our local Chick-fil-A should do the same. I just realized that this location has 2.5 stars for a Yelp review. That is very embarrassing for an FZ and should be reviewed by corporate to maintain a franchise. I know that Chick-fil-A is very particular regarding the FZs it choices. This location is incredible busy. Hope you never have to deal with Susan as you try to explain your order was skipped. This location would probably benefit from order numbers due to how busy it is. They get a lot of people asking where their order is, which causes extra problems for when my order was completely skipped and never brought out. I asked Susan about it and just got yelled at because they are too busy and my order will come when it comes, not listening to the fact that the order prep screen showed my order being prepped and then served just 10 minutes earlier. read more

I placed a to-go order using the app. This restaurant took over 20 minutes to complete a sandwich and fries. The manager in the Hawaiian shirt even prepped the drink and then left it next to the full bag that was ready to go and walked away from it to take a phone call... after he had already asked me my name and said he would check on my order. This was not only the worst experience I've ever had at a Chick-fil-A, but possibly one of the worst I've had at any restaurant. Compared to other reviews, though the line was long, it didn't take terribly long to get through. But once we got to the window we were asked to wait in a parking spot as they prepared our food. That's fine, but after about 10 minutes of waiting there with no food in sight my mom went in to see what was going on. There she met the "manager," Dalton, and "director," Trey, who seemed to have little to no direction and were both incredibly unhelpful. Upon finally receiving our food, my mom noticed that there were multiple mistakes and Trey refused to correct our meal. Not wanting to take our incorrect order, he then refused to give her a refund. My order was taken by a child no older than the age of 14, and he was the only employee taking orders during a very busy time of the day. I only ordered nuggets and two drinks and it took over 10 minutes for the food to be ready. They gave it to me "to-go" despite the child not even asking me if I wanted it for in the restaurant, which I did. After I ate, I went up to the counter to order a cup of water, and watched at least 8 teens walk by me, not a single one bothering to help me and instead were talking about posting pics on social media. The store was infested with children on E-bikes, and the store even allowed teen girls on e-bikes to go through the drive-through, holding up traffic. Ugh. I still don't get this location. After several months of utilizing the drive-through lane and finally opening up to curbside pick up it just seems like everything still takes forever at this location compared to other locations in the area. I am 100% supporter of Covid protocol but it seems like there's too many touch points in general that is slowing the drive-through pick up process down. I'm not talking about people touching the items I'm talking about the steps that it takes to get your food. First I have to meet in order taker then I get it confirmed at another point then I pull up and wait for something else. I've already paid for it online. it should be super easy to just blow on through the drive-through confirm my order and have it moments later. I've been patient since the day you open and unfortunately had to be face with a pandemic. The staff is always super nice and helpful so I don't blame them. I just feel like the operation needs to be tweaked a little. My goal is to usually order through the app and get it as quickly as possible. read more

The amazing CHick-fil-A (CFA) is coming to San Clemente. I thought it was SUPPOSED to be this amazing food. People are always ranting and raving about how great it is.  Nope and I can confirm your worst fears. All these reviews despite how poorly they appear to be, are sadly true in one way or another. Seems they are trying. But my god look at the reviews that give them a second chance. Sadly I can confirm, through experience, most of the bad reviews. Spent my whole lunch break in the drive thru. Ouch. Some of the food was rubbery and some was undercooked. How does that happen? Even the lettuce was flimsy instead of fresh and crisp. Had an employee who was helping me and in the middle of our conversation he just walked away. Maybe the manager called him but even then most managers like to see customers happy right??  And the biggest fail in the food industry......why do you serve me food cold? Fries cold, sandwich cold, and chicken strips cold. God no!!! Get it together guys! This is my first time ever trying CFA through the drive thru. Meh. I've experienced better.
