Good burger and reasonably priced - I ordered the king burger: a 1/2 pound patty with fixings like tomato, onions, lettuce and pickles and it was $11.99 for a large, juicy and flavorful burger. Sides are all a la carte. I was ordering for delivery and fries don't do so well after traveling, so instead I got the chicken strips ( & 11.99). Oddly you had to pay for sauce at least when ordering online. A nominal .30 charge but still, should be included for your first couple. These were okay, a little too much breading but sizeable tenders. They also have a crispy chicken sandwich, turkey and veggie burgers, and hot dogs but the menu is definitely no-frills overall. Food: This place, hands down is one of the best chili cheese fries I've ever had. The fries were crispy and the chili was so good. The cheese was all melted. YUM! I can't wait to be back in the area for this! The burger was so good too! All of the ingredients were fresh and hot! And it wasn't too expensive at all considering how big the burger was. They do have a fountain drink machine behind the counter but you can get refills! Service: All of the employees were so nice and kind, after you order they bring you the food. This might be my favorite spot for a burger in South County. The food here is great.. Everything is cooked to order, the burgers are customizable with tons of options, they have three types of fries, and the BEST fried zucchini! My wife enjoys the crispy chix sandwich, I usually go with the Kingburger, but occasionally change things up and go with a couple hotdogs. Their shakes are all handmade with actual scooped ice cream and they have a variety of options. The staff is friendly and happy to help and the interior is done up in a 50's beach motif with old rock-n-roll hits piped in. The dining area is small and parking is in a private lot that is also smaller than it should be so be prepared to park on the street if need be. So if you find yourself in San Clemente and hunkering for a great burger, fries and a shake, Biggie's is the best. read more

The wife threw a bridal shower for her best friend's daughter. After the shower, we had people milling about so we all walked up to Biggies at the top of my street on El Camino Real. Been there since we moved here in 2001 and not sure how much longer before that. It has always been good and I wish we went more often. I had the chicken sandwich and the steak fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly, as it was a little crispy on the outside, yet nicely juicy inside. With a fresh bun, lettuce and lots of pickles, I was satisfied. What a disappointment The burgers took a long time to come out, then when they did come out, they came out overcooked, dry, under seasoned, missing the cheese we paid extra for, and COLD! Biggie's Burgers is a family favorite. We easily eat here twice a month. The food is fresh, the service is excellent, and made to order perfectly each time. Inside it is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Since it is not McDonalds, you might have to wait for 10 or 15 minutes to get your food and it is so worth it! My favorite burger is the kids burger. It is a little smaller so you can eat two of them easily. Fries are phenomenal, some of the best I have had in South Orange County. Small parking lot out front to the right. There's a poster by the cashier of how the burger is made so you can pick how you want it customized as your order's taken. You can also place your order ahead of time over the phone and the food will be ready for pick up in 20 minutes. I got a regular Biggie Burger with cheese, no tomato/pickles, and grilled onions. The burger is so juicy and thicc. It has a nice savory flavor. There's a juice in it that's distinctive to Biggie. We waited awhile for our food but the dining room was about 60% full. I like the Christmas decorations that they had up on the windows. The oreo milkshake was good although it's pretty hard to mess up an oreo milkshake. The onion rings were browned and crispy. You have a choice of curly, steak, or skinny fries. We got the steak and curly fries. Both perfectly salted and delicious. I did need help finishing my fries due to how big and filling the burger was. I appreciated that when I asked for more ketchup they gave me more ketchup rather than 2 measly sauces like some other places. read more
