First time eating at Nick The Greek ("NTG"). While I I was initially excited to try their food, my excitement was short lived. Ordered chicken souvlaki with rice and side salad. Visually, it was obvious the chicken skewers were previously frozen (char marks on one side only, freezer burn). Flavor was non-existent - bland would be a compliment. The counter where orders are placed is so close to the front door, 3 person line is backed out the door. Inside was a kluge, including an empty table near the entrance, no chairs, just a random table. Another decent visit at Nick the Greek. We came to share agyros sandwich and fries. We think it's plenty of food but that's just our opinion. My only issue is that there's actually too much sauce on the pita. Next time, I'm definitely ordering it on the side. The meat was a little chunky and not necessarily shaved pieces. I'm not sure if that's the standard. It made it a little bit harder to eat. The fries were hot and crisp. The cashier/order taker was super friendly and helpful. Location was clean. This is a fast food Greek restaurant in a shopping center and it's fine if you like chicken thighs and souvlaki and pita bread. I picked up a chicken plate for the bf and he said it was okay. The hummus was awful. It tasted sour and not like real authentic Greek hummus at all. The chicken kabob was half burnt and at the bottom was tons of grease which I cannot and would eat due to health reasons. So we spent the money and had to throw it all away. A total waste. I would never come here again or recommend it to anyone. I love Greek/Mediterranean food, but this was not it in the slightest. Horrible experience. I'd give it negative zero stars if I could.
