I always go for the grilled chicken nuggets and they're always hot and perfect. They do contactless payments and even give you an alcohol wet nap after giving you back your phone too. Accidentally got the wrong order at Chikfila last time we went. Order was very similar looking to ours. I discovered that they ordered better and fell in love with a few new items from the menu! I rediscovered the Spicy Chikfila sandwich. It had a huge, juicy and hot filet! They ordered it plain, with no pickles...delicious I learned that ice cream in a cup with strawberry topping can be ordered at Chikfila. Maybe this is a sundae, not sure (check menu)...also really good The fries were also cooked perfectly today, and didn't taste dry. I was hungry and really enjoyed my meal. The new cashier here is untrained. I had a female cashier and she was so rushing. She asked for what you want and then if you want to think for a second, she will ask you 2 twice or more to repeatedly rush you. Then at the end she dropped the number tag in front of me and won't offer to give me the receipt. I had to ask for the receipt, what is funny is that the receipt said the cashier is Kevin? I went back and inside and asked at the counter and the cashier took care of it right away, he even threw in some extra goodies as an apology! First of all, I would like to say that it saddens me that I had this unexpected horrible experience from a fastfood chain that I least expect to frustrate me. On Sept. 2, 2021, my husband and I ordered drive-thru (amounting to $24.24) since Chic-fil-A is one of our go-to places and like the usual, I scanned our app for reward points. Little did I know that I was double charged (the other bill which was NOT MINE amounted to $32.58). And I only found out about this today (Sept. 8, 2021), since I just purchased a jewelry from Costco today that is why I checked if the transaction went thru since there might be an issue. As I was browsing thru the transactions' history, I've noticed that I was double billed by Chic-fil-A on Sept. 2, 2021 with the same transaction number #03032 ($24.24 which is mine and a mysterious amount of $32.58). In fact, the other bill amounting to $32.58 is also NOT recorded in my Chic-fil-A app for reward points since if this were mine I would obviously scan the app for additional points. This is truly frustrating. Being wrongly billed or double billed is really a weird and unexpected experience from Chic-fil-A. So, my husband and I thought this would be easy to fix since clearly it could be checked on Chic-fil-A's end plus there is the surveillance cam ) if ever we have to reach that point -- just to prove that the transaction is NOT OURS). Furthermore, it does NOT make sense to have 2 separate transactions USING EXACTLY THE SAME CARD PLUS THERE IS NO REWARDS POINTS SCANNED FOR THE OTHER MYSTERIOUS TRANSACTION AS PROOF. However, we were unpleasantly surprised since this is NOT THE CASE. We went to Chic-fil-A (State St.) today- Sept. 8th and was directed to Kerri (upon seeing us after the cashier relayed our concern), we already sensed that we are not welcome (one could sense it thru the non- verbals of a person) but we let it slide and shared our concern about being double billed. And sadly, our gut feel was correct. We were met by a dismissive attitude and were constantly told to just dispute it with our bank since that what banks are there for according to her. It is important especially for this kind of instance (where customers are wrongly billed to be at least treated right). What happened was, instead of saying sorry that this has happened to you, Kerri constantly mentioned that it is impossible to happen and that she does not understand why this happened (with a dismissive tone of voice as if implying we're making this up). And if she is confused, ALL THE MORE WE ARE CONFUSED, since as customers we don't have any idea or access to check on what went wrong on how come we are being double billed. Talking to Kerri, was just another let down, we did not feel heard and authentically listened to--- she would constantly direct us to the bank to dispute the transaction- when Chic-fil-A is the merchant who double billed us wrongly. We even explained that if this transaction were ours, then we would obviously scan our rewards app. She even went on saying that this happened a week ago and I told her that transactions take time to be posted, especially that last week was a long weekend due to Labor Day. What happened with Chic-fil-A seemed to be one wrong transaction after another. First, we were billed WRONGLY (DOUBLE BILLED) and then when we reported this, we had to deal with a manager who does not seem to care since the store was busy. She was like going thru the motions of getting our contact details and even cut my husband when he was explaining the unfair situation. That is why I told Kerri that if you just listen to my husband you would know where we are coming from. I even told her that it is the principle of being wrongly billed regardless of the amount that is truly frustrating. Because this is NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. This is really horrible customer service 'cause it seems that she has no concern for the customer's welfare. This is not the Chic-fil-A culture that we know. That is why, I would like to bring this to your attention and I hope that this situation would be addressed immediately. We were appalled since from our experiences with the staff of Chic-fil-A, it has always been pleasant, so naturally one would expect it all the more from the management team. We ended, when Kerri just got our contacts and she said that she'll get in touch. But with the way, we were treated and she handled the situation, we are NOT SURE if this wrong situation will ever be rectified. Chic-fil-A is known for good customer and the incidents that happened on Sept. 2, 2021 (being double billed $32.58) and Sept. 8, 2021 (reporting the incident to the manager who was dismissive and unconcerned) reflect poorly on your staff. I trust that this is not the way that Chic-fil-A does business and that you will respond with a solution to prevent this incident from happening again. read more

When I give this particular Chick-fil-A five stars, it's really a broader rating to every Chick-fil-A I've ever been in - I've never had better service and the food is consistently good. I don't know what training program Chick-fil-A uses to train its employees but many restaurants big and small, fast food or fast casual, could benefit from their approach. The reason I'm writing this particular review now is to put the word out that the chicken biscuit breakfast is the bomb! You can go traditional sauce, or as our table did, top with either honey or jam. Incredibly tasty! The hash browns are really tater tots but good as well. One of our folks in our party had the tasty fresh fruit on the side for a more healthier meal. Chick-fil-A is the most amazing, consistent experience of food I've ever seen. In addition to their declining food quality, indifferent, rude and poorly trained employees and their inability to get an order correct, their company's chairman purchased "shoe-shine" packages for its store managers, which was apparently meant to remind them to feel "contrition, humility, shame and embarrassment" for the history of slavery throughout the US. When this location first opened, they were fantastic. They hired employees who were friendly, polite, and intelligent. Now, it's almost certain when you drive through, they will get your order wrong. They will also make you wait forever. And to top it off, their food will be lukewarm and not fresh. The chicken just isn't that good anymore. Nor is the service. Go woke, go broke. When I returned to the Santa Barbara state street restaurant the manager said I wasn't the first to complain about the aluminum looking debris from the sandwich wrapping on my food. This, she says after suggesting that leaving it in the bag for too long was the problem. The last thing a chain of restaurants that typically makes yummy food and are closed on sundays should do is package their food that is ruined within minutes. 5 minutes after getting my food and the package already got on the bun. read more

Worst drive-thru set up I have seen. My food was given to me and I still had 3 cars in front of me. By the time the other cars got there food and I was able to leave, my food was cold. Wow, this is fast food? Fast food done right! I have heard lots of hype surrounding Chick-fil-A from all sorts of sources. How good can chicken really be though? I decided to go to Chick-fil-A for the first time to find out. First impression when I walked in was "wow this place is huge and it's very clean". In my one hour devouring multiple items while texting furiously I noticed that the employees don't seem to stop working. This is part of why it's not a run-down mess. Service is amazing and they have Cherry Coke - big plus. My food arrived in like fifteen seconds, this is definitely not hyperbole. Chicken strips were only lukewarm that was a bit concerning but I can report that I did not get sick and I'd rather have lukewarm than overcooked. Waffle fries are pretty darn good too. The spicy chicken sandwich is sooooo legit though. Best fast food chicken sandwich ever. (sorry McChicken :((( ) I once stated that Chick-fil-A is "upscale" in the fast food world. 1. Everyone handling food should make sure their masks remain covering their nose as well as their mouth. When I mentioned that a particular food server who had his nose sticking out the entire time I was observing while waiting for my order, I was told that it's hard to keep the mask covering the nose. That's a BS excuse and not what I wanted to hear. They should be concerned for customers food safety. I know it's hard to adjust to wearing a mask but it is the the current health and safety rule so accept it and managers need to get off their ass and supervise, oh right, it was a female manger the other day who was doing the same thing. 2. the bags that contains the food should be closed and not open to keep nose droplets from infecting the open food inside. read more

I appreciate that Chick-fil-A like many restaurants has found ways to remain open, especially for the sake of the individuals that work there. That said I also think they should get a better handle on their new system. I ordered via the app and opted to pick up. Upon my arrival, I told 3 separate individuals about my mobile pick up order and was told to wait in their order line 3 times until a 4th individual asked me to pull out of their order line and park at the designated mobile pick up spot. Something told me to check my bag before leaving but after being stuck in the line I decided to just go home, big mistake. The large fry I ordered was literally only half full and the fries were cold as though they'd been sitting. They didn't give me any of the sauces I'd requested, or any sauce at all for that matter. And I realize that I potentially should have just braved the Trader Joes line. Think I'll hold off on going to Chick-Fil-A till they resume normal service. read more

I'm upset about my order tonight. I placed an order at 9:38pm, which is cutting it pretty close to closing. However, I ordered a sandwich and the 12 piece nuggets meal. I should've doubled checked my order, but when I got home, there were only fries in my bag. I was missing the sandwich and the nuggets!! I came 3 times in the beginning when it first opened and soon after the hype was down a bit-just so I could give the place a decent review, but not to my surprise. It was still the worse experience through a drive through I had.. I nearly waited 10 minutes for a decaf coffee I had ordered at 830am (tell me why this wasn't brewed in the morning?) at the parking lot (I went through the drive thru. And today I ordered 2 meals and they still had my order jacked up, missing stuff-and was going to send me off to my merry way. I tried to give it a chance. Simply impressed. The food is hot, and the service is super courteous and attentive. For breakfast they have a variety of egg sandwiches with their famous chicken in some of them. The hash browns and biscuit are made well, and there is a little coffee bar for you to select your choice of creamer. This is what impressed me about this place that I've never been to for breakfast before: Service- fast, and the cashier serving me was speaking some really good Spanish to the Spanish speaking customers! Well done! The teamwork I saw was remarkable. Even though it was busy, everyone was encouraging one another and it just brought a smile to my heart. Food- hot and fresh!
