I would give this Chick-fil-A five stars if it weren't for the long lines at the drive through window. I know some people will try to justify the long lines and say that they can't help that they're so good that they're that busy. If that's the case, then they should dedicate more resources to the drive through window. This is by far one of the cleanest fast food chains in the area. The staff could not be more pleasant, friendly, and professional. The food is always consistent and good. I prefer Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich to Chick-fil-A's competing sandwich, but as for the rest of the menu items, Chick-fil-A wins! I went to this location just to buy a bottle of water because I needed to take some medication. When I got to the window, they handed me the water and refused to take my money, which I was certainly willing to pay for. Although, it's inconvenient not having them open on Sunday, I respect their intrinsic belief system, even though it's not my own, and do without. Best of the fast food joints. Been making chicken sandwiches the same way for 50 years and very popular down South. I usually go with a Chicken Sandwich Deluxe (lettuce & tomato) combo with their homemade sweet tea or lemonade. Their waffle style fries are only beat by Five Guys. I find all Chick-Fil-A's very clean, friendly, and well managed...this place doesn't disapoint. Worst chick fil a ever. We are on a road trip and wanted to grab a quick breakfast at the drive thru. The line was moderate, but nothing compared to the lines in Baltimore (where they give awesome, speedy service). We waited over 20 minutes. At one point I got out of the car (husband driving), went to the bathroom, and came back only to find my husband had not moved an inch. The food was also disappointing. For example the hash browns were inedible as they were soggy and extremely greasy. Avoid this location. Stop at another or just go to the McDs across the street. read more

I really love their frosted lemonade and have sat in the drive through for 20 minutes to get one. I really wish they would find a better way to get the drive through more efficient and timely though. Food is always warm and the employees courteous, but it is a bit more pricey than other local fast food. I would like to see more coupons available too. read more

I have a sensitive stomach and have always previously considered Chick Fil A a safe haven for my belly. Like a Mormon at my door I admire them for their cleanliness and wholesome appearance. This one LOOKED the part but... not sure what happened here. The grease on my fries was not clean. My meal (fries and a lemonade) made me feel immediately chilled and queasy and rendered me temporarily immune to the joys of food. It takes a LOT to put me off my eats! Bleh! read more

Chick-fil-A is an amazing place to go. There food is great. And sometimes if I have to wait to long, they give me a gift card for a free ice cream or cookie! They are a Christian restaurant, so they are off on Sunday's witch I totally understand. There drinks are amazing, the food is amazing, and all the deserts are so amazing! The milkshake is my fav. The employees are so kind to the customers. They have great dining area, and even a playground! The chicken is nice and cooked. If you are looking for a place to go, Chick-fil-A is the place! Some how I had made through life with out eating at a Chick Fil A before, and decided to stop here on the way to Baltimore. I couldn't believe that the line of Cars was all around the building. Hadn't seen that since In and Out Burger in LA. Took a moment to find the entrance because of all the Cars. I was very impressed with how quick the service was considering the number of people. Got a Chicken sandwich which was really juicy and tasty, Fires were good too. Since there was no drink station, I was debating if I should get another drink, then the Manager stopped by, got me a refill, ( w/o me asking )and gave me a wet wipe. Color me impressed! read more

My experience at the magnificent chick fil a at shrewsbury was all due to the team leader in training Joshua James Stefko. Who deserves a well needed raise and respect among all of his peers. This was my experience as followed: I walked in through the doors and the glowing face of Josh met my eyes. His presence made me feel comfortable, at home. Then I walked up to the register and I was welcomed by his caring responses to all of my orders. Once they were taken he seated me in the best seat possible and walked back to prepare my food. Everything at this restaurant was excellent including the service cleanliness and staff. The food was great eight during switch over from breakfast to lunch took a few minutes for a sandwich which they informed us of food came out recently times and then they gave us gift cards for the delay which they really didn't have to do delay was very minor. read more

We're so thankful to have a Chick Fil A here in Shrewsbury. I just love their strawberry milkshakes! My kids could eat their chicken nuggets endlessly. The staff at this restaurant goes out of their way to be friendly, and we've interacted with them at a few different community events. Check your receipt for amount charged. I was over charged for menu items and when I pointed it out to the manager she informed me that " this location is part of a test market for price changes and they price the register rings up is what they have to charge"even though it was 25% higher than what the menu board right behind her. She said they cannot change the price that the register rings up even though it's different than listed and she made no attempt to reimburse me for the difference. Unbelievable they think this is ok. This is plain fraud to advertise one price then charge a higher one. read more

Let me tell you a story about their slide...So i was going down their slide and lets just say they need to Oil the shit it was very very sticky and it hurt when i was crawling up and i was going down and all you could here was squeaking SQUEAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. And also when i was going down it one of there screws pulled out my weave and it hurt like a biscuit on a stick. Second of all when I was crawling around it hurt so bad like i honestly didn't think anything could hurt my knees that bad. I was in Shrewsbury so I grabbed some lunch here...my chicken had a big blob of inedible gristle and my waffle fries were under done, limp, barely warm and barely salted. My current favorite fast food restaurant in Shrewsbury. The malted Strawberry shake is one of the best around. The only drawback is that this particular restaurant tends to be very busy with long, slow drive thru lines. I tend to end up parking and just pop inside (where they efficiently "process" customers and their orders very well). Chick-Fil-A is more of an expensive fast food restaurant, but the food quality is great and the customer service is excellent also. read more

I frequent this establishment often, but always in the back of my mind I remember that I spoke with the owner about donations for a community event and he all but pushed me aside. Not a team player. He also tends to hire really young kids that can never remember to put the sunflower seeds with my to go salad, and often lean on the counter and talk to each other instead of standing attentively at the registers taking orders. So instead of eating in, I usually get drive-through service. You never know what you're going to get with breakfast though -- sometimes it's microwaved hash browns from the day before. this chick fil a has a great, friendly staff and i just love their breakfast menu. if all fast food restaurants followed suit and hired and trained their staff to be this efficient and friendly, they would have a line around their building also. the food is great and for those complaining of the price, have you been to mcdonalds or wendys lately? their prices have risen quite a bit and the quality has diminished along with the rate increase. have yet to be disappointed with shrewsbury chick fil a. the manager or other staff will make sure you are comfortable, refill drinks, ask if you need anything else, and just offer warm hospitality. if you are looking for a delicious, filling breakfast sandwich, i recommend the chicken egg and cheese bagel. the chicken minis are good also. but my favorite is the bagel meal. the tea is perfect and so is the lemonade. read more
