Takeout order of the breakfast combo - yes, this is all one meal!
    Cassandra T.

I haven't had much of their dinner menu since I'm not a fan of broiled seafood, but the paninis are great! I would be interested in trying some of their other items like the salads, melts, and a couple entrees, but not gotten around to it because the breakfast is the best here, and all day! The breakfast combo is my go to all the time; it's a great deal and soooo much food! Hot cakes OR French toast, 2 eggs any way, 2 slices of bacon, and 2 sausage links. My friends have liked their omelettes too, although I haven't tried any of them. Check their Facebook before you go - they often post their daily specials, and update hours if they are short staffed that day so you can make sure it's open.

Good food, great prices, and fast service! The fries were amazing. All-in-all a cute little hole in the wall. I'll most likely be back!

I could eat here everyday, seriously, it's a jewel hidden behind a liquor store and a modest appearance. And the menu is huge, as a chef and culinarian myself, usually big menus make me a little nervous about execution, but I happen to know some people that highly recommended the place. So I ventured in with some family (age ranged from 18-50s). THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Full stop. Yes, they have a good tap beer selection and great liquor too - did I mention the store - but credit to the bar too, their craft cocktail selection was tasty and refreshing. Back to the food! Pot roast made with the same respect as Beef Bourguignon, with tender flavorful meat balanced, silky smooth potatoes underneath, mouthwatering reduction atop. Shrimp and grits with authentic made grits, not that Quaker boxed stuff, garnished with a zesty coleslaw - absolutely delicious. So many flavors and textures melding together. Wonderful. Fried green tomatoes served with a raisin cream cheese dollop on top, they were incredible. Lamb pops grilled and served to perfection. We tried a crab fried rice that would make any Asian Chef would have blushed over. Whipped feta. OMG, if you don't know about whipped feta, look it up. They happen to have it on the menu, so we had to try that. Marvelous! Absolutely incredible. My nephew did talk much about his seafood risotto, which if a 20-something says nothing while cleaning the plate, I believe that's solid and speaks for itself. I can't wait to go back, I didn't even get to try the burger and I hear that's outstanding too (believe me lots of places and people screw up a burger). Everything here is crafted with respect not only to the ingredients, but to the methods of preparation. Michelin style cooking hidden in comfort foods and explorations across the menu. I said it was an adventure, and what a journey it was, and I'll say it again; I can't wait to go back!

Because the burgers are made with locally sourced beef (it is cattle country in northern Maryland) I chose a burger. I added French fries for an up charge of $2.00. Everyone's lunches looked great and everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. The salads looked fresh. My neighbor's cheesesteak looked super and she liked it. Other neighbors had Maryland crab soup (red version) and they said it was very tasty and had crab in it. A few gals had the half pound of shrimp and I scored one! Large and very good. Seasoned with Old Bay. My burger was excellent. I didn't get any toppings other than lettuce and a slice of tomato. I wanted to taste the beef. And it was delish! Definitely a keeper! And the bun was delicious! Kind of a sweet tasting bread that was toasted just right! My french fries, on the other hand, weren't wonderful. Lots of small pieces that were very oily and unfortunately had lots of black spots inside the fries. I said something to the server and I asked if I could get a fresh batch. The new ones were better and I shared them with the gals and still had some to take home. A fun fact is that there is a liquor/wine/spirits/beer store attached to the restaurant. Got a bottle of Irish Cream to take home! I definitely want to come back to this restaurant. If you're at the Maryland/Pennsylvania border, try this place. You will enjoy it.

She sent me here, and she did not do me wrong. It's a nice restaurant. It looked like an old-fashioned country Inn on the outside, and just a simple restaurant on the inside. I was served right away. I was in Pennsylvania, so I went for my old standby. Scrapple, two eggs, and toast. You can also get it with home fries if you want. Scrapple is an interesting dish. Created by the Pennsylvania Dutch to use as much of the pig as possible, it's basically "pig scraps" ground up and formed into a loaf. As Guy Fieri says, "from the heel, to the squeal." The meal was excellent. The eggs were perfectly over easy, so there was a good amount of yolk, and the scrapple was fantastic. It's definitely an acquired taste. I live in California, but the first time I tried it, I loved it! I acquired the taste right away. . It is very rich by itself so I always put on a little bit of ketchup, and it's perfect. They use a good quality bread for the toast, and the coffee was excellent I was talking with who I believe was the owner, and he was telling me that some people put either jelly or syrup on their scrapple. That's a little bit too "out there" for me. Food, coffee, tax and tip, and I was only out the door 10 bucks. What a fantastic deal for a very good breakfast. Next time I am passing through, I will stop again. Thank you!

I visited in November 2024 for dinner on the way to visiting my parents for Thanksgiving weekend. Ruby Tuesday runs lots of various specials like BOGO $3 deal or whatever. Tuesday is discontinued burger day, and I was coming up on that Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Their burgers are good here; I feel the burger is a strong choice over some other items which are bit mixed. Service was very good that night here. This location has a view as it's on the top of a pretty high hill. I just realized it's on Far Hills Drive when I was looking at the map. Too bad it was pitch dark outside, and the window with the high view faces the east, which is mainly rural, but still would've been a nice view in the daytime. Shrewsbury is mainly to the west of here. In addition to my delicious burger, I added the salad bar for $5.99 more. The salad bar has been Ruby Tuesday's famous staple since their humble beginnings in Knoxville in 1972. Ruby Tuesday was created by University of Tennessee frat brothers. So, I guess something good came from the U of Tennessee Volunteers...haha...j/k. The salad bar has some good fixings overall, but the best thing are the brown croutons. Edamame is a unique thing that I like on the salad bar. I was annoyed last time I was at the one near BWI Airport in Baltimore area because I added the salad bar, and they didn't have the croutons. They were making them, but it took them like 10 minutes to get to me. See my 3-star review of that location written in 2023. 2024-2026 my girlfriend & I have been a few times, and it's been mostly 4-stars; so on average my opinion has improved of that location since 2023. In summary, I'd consider revisiting this location if on the way up to visit my parents, but might want to go in the daytime to see what the view is like.

Donna, Shelby, Jen, Maddie always helpful, friendly and attentive. They've got great daily specials especially if you combine it with the app for rewards. Regularly BOGO for $3 on entrees. Salad and sandwich deals almost every day of the week. Great happy hour if you want cheap apps or some drinks. They regularly run $6.99 burger and fry deals, almost half the price of a McDonald's meal. I've always found the salad bar to be fresh and meticulously maintained. Apparently almost everything is made in house which is surprising for a national chain. I figured it was dump out of a plastic bag like Panera but apparently almost everything is made in house at the salad bar.
