I recommend not to go to this place. They don't repeat your order and if you ask them to repeat it, it's mumbled out so when you pay for your food, you get ripped off. I ordered a meal and they added a Mac a cheese for full price when I never asked for one. I even said I wanted a medium fry, NOT Mac and cheese. When I told them at the window that I didn't ask for it, they refunded the Mac and cheese, but didn't give me the medium fry that's supposed to come with the meal. Then they had me pay full price for the fry. I basically paid $12 for just a sandwhich and sprite . Then paid for the fries separately. I didn't want to make a fuss of it, so I paid for the fry. Absolutely sick and tired of this Chick Fil A and their service. Their service has gone downhill since the management took over. Orders are never right. Employed change weekly. Ridiculous. After sitting at softball tournaments since this morning, in the rain all day today, all I wanted was to grab food and a large Unsweet tea (WHICH THEY CAN NEVER GET RIGHT) and go home. Well, they double check the order through the drive through, before pulling away, I check the order and BIG surprise...a sandwich is missing. Get that fixed. The young man who was calling out orders, I believe his name was Ross was very rude to me I asked him for ketchup and he didn't even look me in my face and said just get it from one of them at the counter, it was all in how he said it with a attitude. There was another guest waiting for her order and heard him and said he's being rude to her, he must've heard her because he came back over and threw the ketchup on my bag. The food is good, but the service is terrible. I ordered two #2 sandwiches (spicy deluxe sandwiches) and after a 10 minute wait I received two pieces of chicken and buns. No cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, no nothing. When I pointed this out, I was informed that the cashier had rung me up incorrectly (this was true). I was then asked to pay an extra amount for the toppings. This amount, since it was for only the toppings, ended up being more then if the cashier had gotten my order correct. I don't think it is right to charge the customer more when the employee is the one who made the mistake. I then had to wait again for them to re-make my sandwiches. Very disappointed! read more

The service at this location keeps declining each month and this is even pre Covid. For starters I never get my sauces after ordering them in advance and when I ask for them, again at the window I get nasty snarks or short replies. When ordering a large or even medium fries they are never fully filled, this has happened on beyond several occasions over the course of the last year. This is my neighborhood Chick Fil A and because of it I have taken the time to call and speak with the MOD just to bring it to their attention what has been happening repeatedly. The response is simply that they have checked my order in their system and they remember filling the fries to the top, and that the sauces are always included in the bag, Um no! This location deals with a limited parking lot and unconventional drive thru AND still performs above and beyond expectation . located adjacent to one of the busiest highways in the nation , I make stops here after my work commute and run into travelers,commuters, students, and always get greeted with a smile and prompt service. Trash. I just sat in line for over 20 minutes. They have a power outage buy a young lady was outside on the phone. Instead of her taking my order when she got to my window, she sent me ahead. I sat another 10 minutes to get to the window only to find out they didn't have anything I wanted. No grill chicken, couldn't use my rewards, etc. Ironically, the car in front of me was given a rewards card. After talking to the manager, all I got was a, "I will talk to her and not even an apology." I will be limiting my reoccurring visits to this Chick-fil-A. Springfield has seen some tough times, but as my home town it holds a special place in my heart. The town goes crazy whenever a new restaurant opens up - I consider the opening of Outback and KFC as significant milestones in my life. Now I add to that list the Chick-Fil-A. I remember as a kid *literally* praying for one to open up, as the only time my family would have it is if we ventured to Landmark Mall or visited family in VA Beach. My best friend and I decided to get dinner here last month, and we were intimidated by the long line (it went out the door). However, the line went by quickly since they had every register open and we were ordering in a couple of minutes. I thought it was funny how they add notes to their receipts (mine said "Robby - Blue Shirt") to make sure the food goes to the right people. The customer service was awesome. While we were eating an employee came by and refilled my drink for me, once even when it was only half empty. I haven't tried the drive through, personally I think it's faster if you just park and order. For some reason I have strong cravings for the food only on Sundays, which is tough since it's closed but that's a personal issue. They have so much team members that you always make sure to be greet, order your meal before reaching to the cashier, and get your food before you even reach your phone and scroll through social media. Their food is usually hot when I order whether for drive-through or take-in. I love Chick fil a! This location is convenient to my home. However, it does need some fine tuning. I know there is no way around it, but the drive through line is awful. This location is so busy, it is hard to navigate the parking area. Check your order before you leave the drive through window. It seems we are frequently short an item we ordered. The food is prepared better in the morning and afternoon. I think that is when the A crew works. Evening and weekend meals are often over cooked or burnt. Have had a few run of the mill issues here (such as hair in food), but they seem to be standard for most Chick Fil A locations. However, they do not prepare standard lunch sandwiches during breakfast even if you wait. When I asked, the girl seemed confused and didn't know how to figure out on her own what to do (ie: "I don't know. My manager just told me to take all breakfast orders"). I asked her to ask her manager about it if she had never heard of this before, and her manager also said they do not do it. This is one thing I liked about Chick Fil A, so unless this is a company wide change, don't take a trip to this location expecting to order a Chick Fil A sandwich at 10:15am. read more

*This is a review of my experience today at the drive thru. I've only ever gone inside to carry out or dined in. Never used their drive thru service. 1. At 2:30 the line was long and wrapped around the building and moving at snail pace. 2. After a long excruciatingly hot inch by inch to the window I finally placed my order. An 8 count nuggets meal for my son and a #1 sand which meal for myself. I asked for the drink to be sweet tea with a splash of lemonade and a side order of coleslaw. The voice coming from the menu sign says "your total is $8 and..." (The change I couldn't hear) but I knew $8 was not enough for what I had ordered. I drove on. 3. At the pay window the cashier names the first mea ordered and says my total is $6 and some odd change. I told her I had ordered more than that. She was able to quickly see that my second order was placed as a separate order behind my first. No problem as another employee was able to combine them and I paid my correct total. I asked this cashier while they were bagging our food if I could have some bbq and honey roasted bbq sauces. She of course says "sure my pleasure". When she hands me the bag, I do a quick check bc I don't want to get back in line or out of my vehicle at this point. I see one of each sauce at the bottom of the bag. I asked for some more of the honey roasted bc I like it on my waffle fries and one just isn't enough. She rolled her eyes at me swung around to grab ONE additional packet and proceeded to hand it to me via the window. Seriously?! As I drove off I took a big swig my my drink which was made opposite the way I ordered it and was lemonade with a splash of iced tea. Yuck! Too sour. And not until we got home did I realize I was missing one side French fries of our two ordered. Very disappointing experience. I've been forced to go to this fast food chain because my husband and son love it so much, but I will be more cautious and will most likely continue walking in as the better service happens there. It's no ones fault that it's hot as hell outside today or that everyone in Springfield decided to have lunch after 2:30 today and at chik fil A. Also the food we did receive was consistent with what the brand is and my son enjoyed his as always. Today they lost three stars due to the unorganized way the drive thru was run and then the rude attitude I endured from an employee of the company who's thing is to say "my pleasure" and they're usually the most pleasant ppl! read more

Came here after trampolining down the street with the kids. Had a good meal, all was well. Left. Found out I left my purse. Called the store and asked if anyone had seen or collected anything from that area of the store, employee said no. I just had a hunch it had to be there, I didn't go anywhere else in between there and home. Drove to the store. Asked the gal behind the counter if she had seen anything. She said "No" at first and then said she would go check. Oh. Low and behold, what do we find. My left behind purse. Moral of the story: Not cool. I was visiting from out of state and had a major scare about misplacing my purse. Yes it was my fault for leaving it, but to have to call and then double-check buy driving all the way back to the location to be sure they didn't have what they say they didn't but then DID. Hrump. Waited in the Drive Thru for 15 mins picked up my order at the window and was on my way home. I checked my bag halfway there and realized they had messed up my order!!! I was irritated because I had paid extra money for LARGE fries and they gave me a small, and gave me nuggets instead of a sandwich. I ended up calling the location and told them what had happened. I spoke to Joe, who I'm guessing is the Manager *from what it says on the receipt* and he was very friendly and helpful. It made me feel good that they wanted to keep their customers happy. Before this location arrived we traveled down to Potomac Mills. Now, this one has become so popular that the store can't seem to keep up with customer volume. So, I'm noticing a few items of concern. Floors and windows are not as clean. Customer orders are often wrong. Food (cooked) quality is not a consistent representation of the brand. It takes just as long to receive a milkshake as it does an entire meal. The one reason that I choose Chick fil-A is because of it's no excuses brand of service. If there is an issue it is corrected immediately, no need to explain. That's not happening here now and it may be because of the sudden increased volume of the store. read more

The reason I really always enjoyed Chic Fil a was because of their customer service and extra politeness. That has recently fallen very short. I was in the drive thru line for 10+ minutes waiting on a line that should have been closed. I then proceeded to go inside to ordered 2 grilled egg white bowls with no has browns. I repeated the ordered back to the cashier twice and even mention that it was showing up as nuggets and not grilled chicken and was told that it shows up like that in the system. I finally received my order and as I am getting back on the road to take my wife to work she notice that there were fried nuggets and hash brown in the bowls and not grilled chicken. I took her to work and let her take her bowl that wasn't properly made and we took pictures to work because she was hungry. I returned back to the location to try and get my bowls replaced and they would only give me 1 bowl because it's a specialty bowl and they needed the bowl back to give me another bowl that they messed up on. They didn't apologize, were rude. I had to bring the bowls back that they messed up but I didn't get credited for the gas and time I loss.
