The best! Michigander here, so my comparisons of this restaurant to others isn't much! But! Nonetheless this Chick-fil-A was top notch. We came here on Labor Day weekend - Friday to be exact around 530p and it was packed! The two drive-thrus were so long and the inside of the restaurant was full of people. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the people and thinking how long the wait was going to be, but nope! 4-5 cashiers were cranking out orders and it was so efficient! Our cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. She read back our order and everything was right. Sauces are free and we got 6 sauces in total. Our food was served to our table almost the same time that we sat down. Food is hot, tasty, and fresh. The chicken is crunchy and juicy and fries have good flavor. Tip - get the diet lemonade! Tastes the same as regular with less sugar. The line inside continued to be long but cashiers and food runners continued to turn out food. The efficiency again amazed my husband and I - I could never imagine any other fast food places operating this fast and with good quality. Bathrooms are clean and actually smelled good. Baby diapers were free in the bathroom stall which I thought was really awesome. Buser came up to us after we were finishing our meal and asked if either of us needed refills. Are you kidding me?! Such good customer service. My husband took him up on his offer and on his way back the staff said he would clean our table/dispose of our trash. Lastly he gave us mints for the way out. Great customer experience that spanned from the staff to the food!!

Frequent here pretty often as I used to work here but wasn't too happy the other night when I opened my salad to find there was a hair in it.

We decided to be greedy and came here after Cold Stone. We only purchase entrees so we only came there for the meat. What I like about this location is the friendly and helpful staff, I have never had a problem with any of the workers ever. I ended up getting my me and my sister a Deluxe spicy chicken sandwich which was amazing. And both totaled with eat in tax about $8.00. And that filled both of us up. Five stars for the helpful staff and the fact that it was close to closing time and the food was just as good. Great job chick-fil-a team, never change.

My way to eat a sandwich. Learn that from visiting here with my best friend from college. He took the pickles off his and put them on mine.

I use to drive 50 miles one way when the craving got too bad. Even my brother in law who worked his way up to a big wig in KFC agreed that you can't find a better chicken sandwich. Can be a little too pushy on the religious side for both of our tastes, but sometimes you just have to agree to disagree. But one thing EBS and could never agree on here is how to get the chicken sandwich. He would have Never ordered it wit extra slimy pickles like I do. He would have been a plain man. About the only time in his life you could call him that. Be an original, and have it your way. Keeping the legacy alive. Minh's Anni

I had tried to make a reservation for a party of two, but was told they only take reservations for larger groups. I was advised to arrive between 5pm-5:30pm on a Saturday evening to avoid a wait. We arrived at 5:30pm and were promptly seated. The ambiance here is very casual and comfortable. Our server promptly came by to take our drink orders and give us menus. We were also provided with complimentary biscuits that were very good, though not as warm as we would have liked. I ordered the honey-BBQ salmon with green beans and mac 'n cheese. My friend ordered a burger. Food was served in an appropriate amount of time. My salmon was perfectly grilled and seasoned. The green beans were plentiful and deliciously fresh. The macaroni and cheese was a bit disappointing but not bad. It came in a small container and all I could see initially was a cream sauce; once I put my fork in, I discovered the macaroni. We had a nice evening and service was casually excellent- which is the vibe of the restaurant. I would definitely return and recommend Shorty's True American Roadhouse!

The atmosphere was upscale without feeling stuffy, and the service and timing throughout the meal were stellar. We started with the fire grilled artichokes, which were smoky, tender and served with a delicious dipping sauce. Everyone also had either a Caesar or house salad, and both were fresh and very good. For dinner, we ordered the mushroom meat loaf special, the 16 ounce New York strip, steak and fries, and the barbecue baby back ribs. Every dish was impressive. The mushroom meat loaf with mushroom gravy was awesome, especially with the roasted Brussels sprouts and their Not Your Ordinary Mac and Cheese. It was rich, flavorful and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the steaks looked and tasted great. The only issue was that my wife's steak came out quite a bit more undercooked than she ordered. Outside of that, everything was excellent, and the employees handled the entire evening professionally. Great food, outstanding service, cool ambience and a staff that clearly takes pride in the restaurant. We would absolutely come back.

To my surprise the parking lot is packed and there's nowhere to park. No signs or anything indicating you can park around the back as I found out later so I ended up parking in the lot next door. They only have a few chicken items on the menu. One chicken sandwich and one roasted chicken dinner. I got the chicken sandwich which is the Hyde park. This is the same exact sandwich I've gotten every time I've ever been here which is why I really haven't come back because there's not a lot of selection for me. The other reason is they got rid of the croissants on the menu LOL. The service was fast and friendly and there was about a medium sized crowd inside despite the parking lot being full. They have kind of a dark semi romantic atmosphere I guess they're going for. The chicken sandwich was nice and tender. I'm not a fan of the shoe string fries because they remind me of Steak and Shake and at this price point I think they should have some good fries here. They actually had a few craft beers on tap but I thought the cocktail prices were a little extreme at 15 plus. My girl got the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and the potatoes were ice cold so they lose a star for that. Other than that I have no complaints except that the pricing for lunch. $20 for a chicken sandwich is a bit much to me.

Went there Saturday with family and friends. What a great night!…read more Two of us had the lasagna and it was incredible. This isn't the usual lasagna. It's similar to what you know, but different! I bet it had 10 layers. The sauce was definitely made in-house. Not too sweet, not too bitter/sour. The one thing that's different with Calvino's is I couldn't detect or find any ricotta cheese, and I didn't miss it. It was a very generous portion, and it was perfectly cooked. No dry pasta or burned edges. I opted to add some Italian sausage which was the perfect addition. The other person who ordered this added sausage and ground beef and said that his was perfect. Either way, you can't go wrong! Another person at our table ordered the butternut squash ravioli. She was kind enough to let me try a piece and it was absolutely amazing! She ordered it with the olive oil and garlic sauce, which was the perfect pairing. This was as good or better than the butternut squash ravioli at Martini's in Columbus. The pasta had great texture (definitely fresh pasta) and the filling wasn't gluey in any way (this filling can have a tendency for textural issues). I'm definitely ordering it on my next visit! Someone ordered the chicken and pesto sandwich and raved about it. The last person at the table ordered the linguine with olive oil, garlic and mushrooms and again, it was perfection. All entrees were served with bread (ahhhh, those great little nuggets of fresh baked bread, drizzled in butter and sprinkled with cheese...) and a really nice, fresh salad. I would bet that the dressings are all homemade too! From past experience I can attest to the stromboli being outstanding (get the Godfather!)! The pizzas going by the table looked pretty amazing too, but I've not had their pizza. Appearances can be deceiving, but from the looks of the pies and quantity of people ordering them, they have to be pretty great too. Calvino's does not have a full bar, but they do have an extensive wine selection and some nice beers to choose from. If everyone at the table is ordering wine, go for the bottle as it will save you money. They have some really nice, inexpensive wines that pair very well with pasta - you won't break the bank on wine (but you could...)! All in all, it was a great night! The bill for the two of us came to $55.00 (that's including the tip)! The service was great, the food was outstanding - the best Italian meal I've had in Toledo, hands down.
