I love I could figure out my meal online since I am both dairy and gluten free. It was super easy to get accommodated to make a bowl that fits my goals The staff here definitely either couldn't head or pay attention. I ended up getting beef instead of the Korean fried chicken. This is a fast food type of establishment for Asian food, as I understand it. The restaurant is located on the fringes of the Franklin Park Mall, off of Talmadge, near the Panera Restaurant. It's a very busy area. I had this restaurant on my to-try list based upon positive Yelp reviews. However, the Health Score caught my attention. I believe there were 38 health violations. Based on a comparison of other restaurants, this is far below average and I therefore feel justified in scoring this restaurant accordingly. I would not go to a restaurant with this negative rating on any day or time of the week. That, of course, is my opinion based upon the Health Department's evaluation. This place just opened recently and still has that new looks and feel. The team here is very friendly and welcoming. They are presenting a great image. Lots of help, fast service and clean facility. Bibibop is hard to find. The drive way situation is confusing. You have to wind through the strip wall to the east of the building. I would not consider Bibibop a poke place. They didn't have fish protein options. However the Korean BBQ one I had was outstanding. They have a smaller selection of toppings for your bowl. But all were very fresh and tasty. read more

I really love this place. It is healthy and delicious. The service is good and while you do order as you come in. Everyone is competent, nice and it is very clean. Their choice of house made lemonades drinks along with the fountain drinks are delicious. Complementary miso soup is a nice touch. Which I assume is for dine in as it's self serve. read more

I can't believe I've been sleeping on BIBIBOP Asian Grill. They deserve a Michelin Bib Gourmand Award!! The quality and quantity of food is amazing -- the highlight for me was the complimentary miso soup station. The restaurant's design is immaculate-- casual but, could be the perfect setting for a quick lunch date... their centerpieces are adorned with real roses. Did a random search for vegan restaurants while I was in the area and was so excited and intrigued to try this place. It could be described as a Korean bibimbap restaurant that is similar to Chipotle and Blaze/MOD Pizza where you can build your own bowls, picking the ingredients you want for your mix bibimbap bowl. They have bowl choices for vegetarians and vegans. For me it was either the tofu bowl or the veggie bowl or the build your own. I got to choose bases which could include rice or noodles or both, also top notch quality unlimited toppings, proteins, which all blend together well with various sauces. The lady taking my order was nice, helpful and accommodating. She helped me with getting the promotional discount for signing up for Bibibop texts and applied it to my order. The food was awesome and divine. They went above the bar amped up the bibimbap you get in Korean restaurants to several notches of excellence and quality, oh they also provided free miso soup with the meal. The price was very reasonable for the amount of portion you get and the quality of unlimited ingredients is definitely worth it. Even the restaurant was really clean and nice. It has a contemporary design and look that makes it feel like you're in a quality restaurant like many in Korea. This place was frequented by many while I dine in after ordering. We were shocked at how you can build your own plate with clean hole foods! The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! The design and speed you get your bowl were great, but....... they weren't too busy, they should hire one more to clean the dining room. DIRTY, hands stuck to the bottom of the serving tray, cleanliness is the only reason it wasn't a 5. We will come back because it was amazing food. read more

Bibibop was a good experience. This was my first time trying it after it being recommended a few times. The aesthetics of the inside gave me a modern zen feelings, and that this place was designed with intention. Everything was white with a fresh clean feeling. I love that they had live plants all throughout the restaurant. Food tasted good and really clean. I loved that they had good options with and without meat protein. However, I did not love the taste, it was a little bland to me but it was good. I believe it's more of a required taste and also it depends on your normal platte. I felt good afterwards though, nice and light. I would visit it again and also recommend giving it a try for your self. read more

Oh. My. Gawd. Can we please just talk about how amazing this food is? It's like an Asian inspired Chipotle. Step one, select from white rice, purple rice, or a cabbage salad (um yum I picked this). Step two, you decide on a meat. They had tofu, chicken, spicy chicken, and steak (gimme all the steak). Step three, pick a hot side, like potatoes, noodles or bean sprouts (yup I picked these). Step four, get you some cold toppings like kimchi (extra $), carrots, corn, purple cabbage, egg, cheese, etc. I went with pineapple (extra $), carrots, and cucumbers. Finally you select a sauce, and I opted for sesame ginger. You can also ask for some extra sauce in a container on the side, FYI. They also offer free miso soup and so many yummy teas! We were looking for something healthy to eat and I've heard from friends it's very good. We placed our order online, which was a very easy process. Since my brother was going to pick it up, we called to confirm that would be okay since my dad had placed the order under his name. They confirmed it would be fine and it would be ready in 15min. We had just placed the order, so definitely quick service. Since it was my first time, I decided to get the "Bibi Fan Favorite" - marinated chicken, potatoes, carrots, cheese, corn and cucumber over a half japchae (noodles) half purple rice base, finished with yum yum sauce. Just a heads up for anyone who is wanting to order for 30+ people. I was needing food for approximately 30 people and wanted to order 3 party packs. I was told I could not do that (you can only order 2 party packs) and that I had to order through custom catering, which cost me $450.00. But after the fact, I realized I could have placed 2 separate orders, one with 2 party packs and 1 with one party pack and it would have cost me $270.00. Only difference is you don't get the option of getting steak, which I didn't want anyway and with the party packs it comes with cookies. I could have saved $180. read more

The food is quality and healthy. Very tasty. I would suggest to order in person at the location. I ordered online and even though my receipt spells out my correct order - it was not. They failed to include the extra sides of sauces I ordered for us to try. The teriyaki sauce is good but we wanted to try the yum yum and the sweet/spicy. Overall really good food. We really enjoyed eating here several times a week when they first opened. Thru COVID was hard to find employees and I understand that, that service did go down a bit. However now, December 8th. 2022 I believe things could be better... I could be wrong. I don't eat meat, that being said my source of protein from this place is black beans. Today when I came in while I asked for more beans and the manager ( Erick ) was rude saying it's only two scoops. He didn't even offer for me to pay extra, his tone, his body language, his attitude. I do want to continue to eat here and continue to also recommend others do the same. I would appreciate the portion of the veggie bowl be a little more. Specially when people only get 3 things like me, noddles, black beans and carrots. I understand I'm not special but this is a thought. We have had their carryout a handful of times and it has been top shelf every time, The gyro bowl is exquisite!!! Asian food or Americanized Asian food always intrigues me in Toledo so I knew I had to go when I got an ad on Facebook that this place was opening up. We ordered two bowls - spicy chicken and steak with purple rice and japchae with all the toppings. Serving size was surprisingly big so I'm happy that they didn't skimp. I liked the carbs, and the toppings were all very fresh. My favorite was the Moochae because it added a bit of tang. I expected the Kimchi to be good since they're similar concepts but it was watery for some reason and didn't pack a lot of flavor. Honestly I don't think you needed the sauces because the meat was already flavorful enough - the spicy chicken was already coated in a sauce. Rice was plain and sort of crunchy. Noodles are delicious and slightly tangy. Large portion overall. Beef was fresh and flavorful. Miso soup is pretty bland and it had overly firm tofu, but it's free. Didn't try the drinks but the soda machine was out of order. Overall very pleased. read more

She had heard about BIBIBOP on Facebook and driven past it recently, so we thought we'd check it out. Incredibly good. Ingredients were certainly fresh and presented just as photo-perfect as the web pics displayed. I had the steak with white rice, pickled cabbage, cucumber, carrots, bean sprouts, and sesame ginger sauce. Wife had chicken, corn, carrots, black beans, egg, cheese and white rice. We ordered 3 different bowls tonight. Everything came that we ordered. I had the chicken bowl with a base of Japchae noodles, black beans, corn, carrot, pickled red cabbage, kale. I chose teriyaki and sesame ginger. I love the different options of different proteins chicken, spicy chicken, steak, tofu. They have a lot of options for ingredients to mix in like bean sprouts, black beans, corn, carrot, cucumber, cheese, pickled red cabbage, scrambled eggs. You pay extra for broccoli.
