Spicy Chicken Sandwich with zesty Buffalo sauce on the side
    Jinzi H.

I'm so pleasantly surprised by their spicy chicken sandwich! The chicken is crunchy on the outside, juicy in the inside, super hot and fresh, with a slight kick of spice. The service was super quick and friendly. And the inside had a nice spacious layout and looked clean, excluding the spots were people had gotten up after eating. It sits about 50 or more people.

That's a solid chicken sandwich The customer service has really DIPPED at Yonge and Bloor location (lazy, cranky staff mostly). This location is a better set up and service

I haven't been to Chick-fil-A in ages. Probably at least 5 years. Well I know Chick-fil-A is in Toronto so B and I definitely had to go and grab some great chicken sandwich. I got the #2 Chick-fil-A deluxe meal and B got the #5 Spicy Chick-fil-A deluxe meal. The meal came with waffle waffle fries and a drink. I got the lemonade and B got the frosted coffee. The meal was delicious but it was not as delicious as I first or last that remembered. We came here because B never had Chick-fil-A and I told him that they have really good chicken burgers here and so I wanted him to try. The meal was quite pricy for fast food. 2 combo came to $30.94. I loved their special sauce so I asked extra for that. Everything was freshly made and the ingredients were fresh. The chicken wasn't crunchy and on top the chicken patty was a bit thin. Seems like the USA locations of Chick-fil-A are way more tastier. Anyways, the meal was not bad. I did enjoyed it. We came right after the restaurant open. I liked how they have someone carrying an iPad to take your order to speed things up. The same tradition as all Chick-fil-A, they are not open on Sunday.

I love that they opened a new Chick-Fil-A spot at Queen and Spadina. Compared to the first opening in Yorkville, this is managed so much better. We were in the area and just peeked in from outside the day before opening. Someone from corporate/management approached us and offered a complimentary sandwich coupon each. A lucky bystander saw what's happening and he also got a free coupon too. What an unexpected surprise. This is the third location in Toronto. We were worried about a line up so we arrived around 9pm on the first day. We didn't have to wait that long to place our order. Our vaccine passport was scanned and checked when we wanted to dine in. I ordered a milkshake and fries along with the spicy sandwich. Food-wise I knew what to expect, consistent to my experience from other locations. Putting aside the controversy, I like their sandwiches. Especially with their sauce! Make sure to grab some with your sandwich (free). The waffle fries and milkshakes are great too (we got the cookies and cream). We didn't have to wait too long after our order maybe about 15mins~ or so. The staff was handing out little plushie cows for our wait. Those who waited longer received a complimentary coupon for a milkshake to come back to revisit them. I like how they set up the dividers so groups could stay between the partitions in front of the counter as they wait for their order. They gave us a little stand to get seated and delivered the rest of the order at our table. There is a good amount of seating in this location. Wow, night and day compared the first opening in Yorkville. The staff was so pleasant! I will be back.

Puk, Puk, Pukaaak! If you like your deep fried chicken sandwiches, this is the place to be. The fried chicken gods just opened a new Chick-fil-A on Queen Street West in downtown Toronto and right across the street from Club Monaco (Queen and Spadina/ 336 Queen St West). Once you walk through the entrance, it's super modern and COVID safe. The queue is on the left and these greeters with iPads take your order and name. We always go for the spicy chicken sandwiches and a large waffle fries. (Oh, and it's not that spicy at all!) Super Fun Facts: these are the top most-ordered menu items in the Northeast region (of the US) in 2021, but hey it's close enough to Toronto! 1. Waffle Potato Fries 2. Soft Drinks 3. Chick-fil-A Nuggets 4. Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich 5. Regular Lemonade 6. Sweet Iced Tea 7. Spicy Chicken Sandwich 8. Hash Browns 9. Spicy Deluxe Sandwich 10. Mac & Cheese 11. Chick-fil-A Deluxe Sandwich Plus, you get to pick an UNLIMITED number of dips. The oh-so-gooey-and-delectable sauces are the real show stoppers. --Double dipping is highly encouraged! Chick-fil-A Sauce Classic dipping sauce with notes of honey mustard and a smoky tang. Polynesian Sauce A delicious sweet and sour sauce with a strong, tangy flavor. Honey Mustard Sauce A savory sauce with the robust flavor of mustard and spices combined with the sweetness of honey. Garden Herb Ranch Sauce A creamy buttermilk ranch sauce with savory garlic, onion and herb flavors. Zesty Buffalo Sauce A flavorful hot sauce with a smooth, bold flavor. Barbeque Sauce Classic barbeque sauce, seasoned with spices, onion and garlic for a rich and bold flavor. Sriracha Sauce A sweet and tangy sauce made with chili peppers for a spicy twist. OK, after you order, you walk up to the register and share your name with the cashier, who also rings you in. The wait is about 10-15 mins for your order and you stay in your plexiglass "lane" while you wait. I suggest admiring how the crew work their magic because it really takes a village. Once your order is ready, there's ample seating including some 4-seater booths, high tops, and even some single seating near the entrance (by the floor to ceiling windows). On the right of the cash registers is the pick-up line for online orders. https://order.chick-fil-a.ca/menu My favourite memory is biting into that heavenly chicken sandwich. As the pros describe it, "A boneless breast of chicken seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, freshly breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips. Also available on a multigrain bun." Other cool facts: The "A" at the end of "Chick-fil-A" isn't just a play on the word "fillet", it also means Grade A. I was impressed to learn that Chick-fil-A sources 100% real, whole, boneless breast of chicken that has never been grounded or separated, and that contains no fillers or added steroids or hormones. -Awesome! And to top it off, Chick-fil-A employees are so polite. "Please", "thank you", and "my pleasure" are common words you'll hear around Chick-fil-A restaurants. So hey Toronto, "Eat Mor Chikin"!!

The I Heart Butter Tart Concrete ($6.49) that I ordered was a little too much for myself. I did decide to go through and finish the ice cream / sundae just so I don't have anything to go. The interior of the place was properly though out and well designed. Self order stations are available to order from and the ordering interface is one of the better systems I have seen. When I dined in early afternoon on a weekday it was a rather slow day. There were a couple of Shake Shack employees constantly roaming about the premises ready to attend to any customer request. 1 such employee was thoughtful enough to serve me and a group of other customers some water. I have mixed feelings about the bathroom setup. Yes, it is clean and there were a few toilet rooms available, but it requires a code to be entered prior to using. The door screen shows as vacant but an employee still needs to give out the 4 digit code needed to access the toilets. I also found some issues with the water faucet sensors. It is inconsistently picking up my gestures resulting in an unreliable and unsteady flow of running water when I was washing my hands.

I couldn't let the opportunity pass. The dining space? Bright, clean, inviting. Modern but casual. Off to a genuinely good start. And then... things went south. I ordered the peri-peri chicken with two sides. The wait was excruciating. Not just long--confusing. Every single person who ordered after me was eating while I sat there wondering if my ticket got lost in another country. When the chicken finally arrived, I was stunned--and not in a good way. Easily the smallest leg/thigh combo I've ever seen. Yes, I'm used to USA-sized, GMO-filled chickens, but I've eaten plenty overseas. This wasn't "European portioning." This was kiddie-sized. Flavor? Underwhelming. Forgettable. Nothing that made me pause, nothing that lingered. For a place built on peri-peri heat and personality, this was shockingly flat. I can get chicken with more punch at my local Grocery & Go. The mac and cheese had decent texture--the breadcrumbs did their job--but flavor-wise? Completely bland. Zero soul. The fries? Although well seasoned, we're like warm. Overhyped things rarely deliver, and Nando's sadly fits the bill. Massive disappointment is the phrase that keeps coming to mind

Had the chicken with a fried egg on rice (substituted for pork, though) - ca. 15.99 on menu. It was just as great and even better than some other vietnamese restos (pickled carrots and turnips were sweet and tart! :)). Quick to serve and just what I was expecting. The one guy serving the entire dining room (ponytail and arm tats and piercings) is the reason I'm writing this review. He was accommodating and super friendly and went out of his way for me more than couple of times in my one visit. I really appreciated him. Thank you, whoever you are! The ambiance was good - it felt comfortable, clean and friendly. The set up was a bit weird on first glance: sit, scan, and the order is served out to you (they also have take-out). The condiments were self-serve - the small containers to put sauces in made it hard to put it on your food though. I waited for 3 people to come and go at the station before I even attempted to get my hoisin and hot sauce. Individual bottles at the table would be better. More seating needed for sure! Overall, this was a good resto for a quick vietnamese food. Glad I stopped in. Hope they stick around for the long haul.

This restaurant chain introduced the "Chinese Hamburger" in a crispy bun to Toronto back in 2021-05-23 (soft opening). Very tasty indeed! Plus, they have a wide variety of appetizers. The two owners are from China. The brand was founded in Beijing on 2014-04-08 and now has over 65 locations in Beijing. The Chinese Hamburger is called Rou Jia Mo (肉夹馍) in Chinese, which literally translates to "meat in a bun". It is the cuisine of China's Shaanxi province, which has the capital city of Xi'An (or Xian), where you find the terracotta warriors.
