This is my first time trying Chick-Fil-A. Not sure what all the hype is about though. I ordered the regular chicken sandwich combo with waffle fries and bottled water. It came out to $14.23 with tax. Kind of on the high side compared to the quantity received. On to the quality. The waffle fries were amazing, they were crispy on the outside and soft and juicy in the middle. But That is where it stops, the chicken sandwich although tasty with the pickles, was very very small and it had no sauce and was dry. After reading some other reviews, I gather you must put on sauce that is in the side. Nice to know that beforehand or to be told that by employees. Otherwise, I didn't enjoy this meal And I won't be back. As all in all it is just a chicken sandwich. Which they should famous for, only I didn't see anything special about it. read more

Venue 4/5 There's lots of parking but parking close to the restaurant is harder to find during busy hours as it is within a mall. There's a walk-in pick up window as well as walking to order in the restaurant. pick up window is good for their after hours. Service 4/5 Line is smooth typical fast food restaurant, order, pay and wait for the food. Food came out pretty quickly as these are popular items so not much to add here. Food 4/5 Consistent with the other locations, but it's just a chicken sandwich burger at the end of the day. The sauce is add to the taste so there are plenty of sauces to choose from and they're very generous on giving more sauces if needed. Always want to try Chick-fil-A not sure what the hype was about. Well today they had a free chicken burger promotion. What better opportunity to try. About half hour wait. Queue moving fast multiple order takers. Chicken sando large piece of chicken breaded white meat. Tender not tough came with 1 sauce pack picked the chick fila sauce. By the time it was slathered in sauce was a saucy chicken burger. Bun so so soft. Spicy burger did have some kick to it and slighting thicker coating. Regular price $7.40 for original and little bit more for the spicy. Lots of parking in the parking lot. Store facing the main street. I wonder if this is where panera bread used to be. It is right next to Jack Astors. There are table and benches and bar high top seatings. Washroom at the back. I would say the seating space not too large but sufficient. We came here to get some lunch. It was pretty busy but things moved quickly. We opted to order online for pick up which was probably a wise decision how busy the car was. Service was pretty quick and staff were friendly. Inside was clean and staff were attentive to people's questions. Food: Classic chick fil a sandwich - simple, basic but still good. Chicken is moist and crispy on the outside. 3.5/5. Spicy Deluxe chick fil a sandwich - has a nice spicy kick along with additional lettuce and tomato for toppings. I liked the extra toppings and the spice - 4/5. Waffle fries - the best ! Loved the nice large slice with lots of surface area for crisp while still being soft and fluffy on the inside. I got it without salt and even still it was well seasoned. 5/5. Cobb salad with crispy chicken tenders. Not bad - the lettuce was fresh, toppings were nice, egg was done well. The chicken on top gives some extra protein needed to make it a complete meal. 4/5. The tons of sauce choices are always fun at chick fil a to customize your food. I'm a big fan of their chick fil a sauce, honey mustard and sweet and spicy sriracha - though I'm sure that's going to differ with each persons preference. Service is a little slow but courteous. The chicken sandwich was a disappointment after hearing all the hype. The pickle and the Chick-fil-A sauce was better than the chicken. Been here twice so far, despite the lineup the last time I was there, it was worth it. Kind of pricey though, but excellent chicken; I had been to one in California when I was there over 12 years ago. Do not like the loud contrast inside between the white and the red, as well as the tight seating; miss the old style tables when Panera was there before in this location and the fact that even basic toppings like lettuce and tomato they charge extra for which was totally unexpectted in Canada. Also wished it was open Sundays. Caution: if you are allergic to nuts or peanuts, do NOT eat the chicken, because it is fried in peanut oil. read more
