Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. We stopped in while traveling through. Got there about 10:20 right before breakfast ending. We both got the chicken egg and cheese biscuit combos and they were good. The hash browns were ok, not that crunchy, but I've had worse from other chic-fil-a's. They were busy just like any location but our food still came out quickly! Can't comment on the inside as my husband picked up inside but he did say it was nice and clean in there. Dirty restrooms, biscuit at lest 2 days old since it was hard as a rock, hash browns burned and crispy with burnt oil taste and staff yelling at each other. I have never received such bad service at a Chick-fil-A before and they weren't even crowded! The food was good like usual, but they left off 3 of our items! No one came around to offer refills like they typically do and they didn't seem very bothered when I kept having to go back up to get items. I think it is conveniently located and you can get in and out without a problem. No complaints, employees were pleasant, order was correct and hot. I guess since I've been MIA, I was surprised when the young lady told me that I could only get the 4 count minis as a combo. Not only is this location a nightmare with the parking and drive through but I'm on a cross country road trip moving and I went inside to order and after I asked for a plastic bowl. I ordered a nugget meal with Mac n cheese and wanted a bowl to mix the two together with the buffalo sauce and eat in my car. This is the first CFA ever that has charged me for a bowl. They charged me $.39 for a plastic salad bowl. It's not the money it's the principle. Not typical CFA service at all. read more

Great food and service but oh my goodness do they not know what "light ice" means. Multiple times I've asked for light ice and I've received the entire cup filled with ice. It's almost like they are doing it intentionally. I have sensitive teeth and it hurts when the drink is too cold. read more

Idk about these bad reviews, they must not be used to certain things, but the "problems" I've had at Chick-fil-A do not compare to the problems I've had at other fast food restaurants in town. I always LOVE going to Chick-fil-A ! And this one is my favorite, really the only one I go to. If theres an issue I suggest you call and let them know and they will fix it no proble. Like for example maybe a week ago I went to Chick-fil-A to get dinner for me and my kids. They got dr pepper to drink I got lemonade so I tasted my sons drink and it wasn't quite the taste I was expecting. So knowing what I know about soda machines I guessed the syrup was out so I called the store just to let them know it was out and she said "our drink guy realized it after you left the window. Would you like to come get another drink?" I let her know that I had made it home already, which is really not far but still I said I didn't want to come back, but I told her my mother was coming to pick up her order soon and asked could she get them. Let's just start by saying that every chain location in Tuscaloosa is worse than you will find in any other city. I'm not sure why, but it is just a bad place for good food and friendly service. Sadly, this CFA location is no exception - they consistently get orders wrong and their staff are not very friendly. It's especially frustrating because CFA refuses to open their dining room due to COVID (Every other restaurant and fast food place is open, why can't CFA slap on their masks and open dining rooms?). So, when they get your order wrong, it is hard to correct it because you can't go inside. We love CFA, and this location is slightly less awful than the McFarland drive-thru option, so I guess we will continue to deal with it. read more

I only get one thing--the MktWld GRL + Appl Vin. and this time they left out the toppings ?#%! But to be fair I did get two dressings and my wife got two dressings but they were wrong so we have three extra dressings for anyone headed west on I-59 right now. Great location. It's super clean and as expected the staff is very friendly and helpful. Josh D takes the time to organize the napkins, straws, and condiments and it really makes the visit enjoyable. I normally love Chick-fil-A. This is a brand new one located in Tuscaloosa near the movie theaters. I didn't like it for many reasons. First, the menu was too small & too far away. Also, the registers and counters where you order were split into 3 or 4 sections. So if you were at one register you could see part of the menu, & if you were at another register you could see another part of the menu. They asked for our name. I'd rather not give my name at a fast food restaurant. It was 8:00 & the only section with high tables was blocked off. However, the manager did open it for us. The new Cobb salad I ordered was just awful. I've never experienced awful at a chick-fil-a, ever. The trip to the restroom was irritating also. Those self-flushing toilets that never work right or flush when you aren't ready were in there. Then the touch-less soap dispenser took many tries to get it going. And the touch-less faucet turned off before I was finished. I was just not happy here. The people were, as usual, extremely friendly & fast. It was nice & clean. It was just an irritating experience. Sorry. I'll go to the one in nearby Northport from now on. read more

This is the only Chick fil A that I have ever rated less than 5 stars. Their #1 fried chicken sandwich had no breadcrumbs. It was not crunchy. They replaced it twice for me (the employees are super nice, of course) and each time it was the same thing. A flat, chewy, grilled chicken. Slowest Chickfila I have ever been to. Went at breakfast-time on a Friday. Wasn't crowded, especially by Chickfila standards. Had to get out of the drive through line because it wasn't moving at all. Went inside and still had to wait a while for my food. Very unusual for Chickfila in general and hopefully this is not an everyday thing for this particular restaurant.
