It was a pretty good experience. There was no one waiting in line to order. One young man was filling up the drink station with ice and setting it up. Another young lady said she would take my order when I was ready, but when I went to order she was on the phone placing a Phone order I had to wait like about five minutes to order which I thought was strange since I was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered a number two meal with fruit punch. I'm going to assume that the food was fresh since I had to wait five more minutes for my order to get ready. While I was waiting I finished my drink and asked for a refill. I was disappointing with the young lady who grab my cup stated that she could not put half of lemonade into my fruit punch because she would have to charge me. I stated that I would like mostly fruit punch with just a quarter of lemonade filled with it. She again stated that no she would have to charge me because lemonade cost much more. I had never had a problem with this before so this is very irritating. I've never been to a Chick-fil-A and I just arrived at John Wayne Airport, missed my free peanuts on Southwest cause I nodded off, so I was starving. My hunny took me to this area and thwarted by the fact that the brewery wasn't open yet, we went here for a cheaper eats dining experience. We got a meal: Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Club Sandwich, waffle fries, and a drink. We split this meal costing us about $6-ish, not bad. The waffle fries were slightly on the undercooked floppy side, not crispy, and the chicken sandwich with the honey bbq packet was nice and yummy. Quite a surprise. For being a fast food joint, it felt at least quasi-healthy. There's also a playground for the kids to play in. Man I wish I were a kid again... The place was clean and the servers quite nice! Small family-owned chain of Chicken related fast food with a mom&pop shop feeling of service. The chicken nuggets are all white meat and are breaded, not fried. They come with waffle fries which are lightly fried and they have delicious unlimited lemonade. I love the appeal of this place. I have been here a couple of times and almost always prefer the location at Marketplace. This time we had multiple issues. I had wanted a ver plain salad since I was on strict diet restrictions. I was told to get the superfood salad. After getting it, I noticed that there was dressing already mixed in. I had to ask several employees and then finally found out that it was syrup. I told them I can't have that since I can't have sugar. They just told me sorry and that was it. I spent $4.49 on a salad I couldn't eat! I was so upset and had to wait until I got home to eat. Then my husband saw that someone had spilled their milkshake on the floor and just left it there. He told an employee and the employee went over and picked up the cup and left the milkshake mess on the floor! We were shocked. Someone can easily slip on it. We were there for around 30 minutes and not once did someone clean it! The Marketplace location has fantastic service ALL THE TIME! I usually try not going to this location and this night was a big reminder why. read more

This restaurant is a heart breaking example of how poor decisions can transform a place from pure excellence to pure mediocrity. They were still pretty good, even after they got stingy on condiments & facebook promos. But lately, they just keep changing things. And when one of the best things a fast food joint can boast is consistency, changing things can be really frustrating. They've had this great buffalo sauce since they opened. In the past year, they discontinued it and replaced it with this terrible watery variation. The old one had the consistency of ranch dressing - the new one has the consistency of milk. It's a mess - you can't put it on the sandwiches because it runs all over the place. They also replaced their spicy chicken biscuit - by FAR the best food item they have ever had on the menu - with an egg white grilled chicken sandwich. It's just mind boggling. I get if you want to add new items; so add them. But why do you have to remove stuff that people are ordering? It's not like your menu is huge to begin with. FFS Anyway - this place is a solid 3 star chicken joint now. The food quality & staff attentiveness put them slightly over El Pollo Loco. But if you're looking for an exceptional fast food spot; look elsewhere. read more

I love 'em taters. I can have 'em while on a train or on a train. I'll have 'em even when I'm on a train. I'll have 'em for breakfast and sometimes even for lunch. I'll eat them with ketchup or even with cheese. Boy, I love 'em taters. One of these days I'm going to open up a stand and only sell tater tots as if it's from your school, or hell.. even one of those food trucks. As I was receiving my order, the GM introduced himself and asked if I needed anything else! That was a first for me, he truly cares about the guests experience. I cater at least 12 lunches a month at various locations and establishments. This Chick-fil-A provided the best service I have experienced! Oh, Chick-Fil-A. It's always consistent, reliable, and really brings out delicious chicken flavor. Service is always impeccable - one of the strong points they are known for. I went through drive thru on my first visit. There is an employee who is ready to take order and conduct payment which is pretty nice and personable! A different take on the drive thru process. I ordered Chicken Nuggets and got the Polynesian and Chick-Fil-A sauce! The nuggets seem a little small, but hey I'd rather have real chicken nuggets hormone-free over stuffed fake chicken meat anyday! Anyways, each chicken nugget tasted fresh and juicy. I loove their sauces and you can get as many of each you want! There are 6 options you can choose from! I don't remember all of them, but definitely go for the ones I mentioned. Polynesian is like a fuller sweet and sour sauce and the Chick-Fil-A is just SOOOO good. On my second visit, I got their waffle fries and ugh, there's just something about them that is so enjoyable. Very crisp, but comforting. While I was eating, I did notice many drive thru patrons coming into the store pointing out that something was wrong with their order. Chick-Fil-A will always be a go to restaurant when trying to find a chicken meal that is quick, delicious, and natural. I go to UCI so I always see this place whenever I am in Irvine and so I finally tried it. I got the Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich with the large waffle fries. The spicy chicken sandwich was nothing really special to me (considering all of the great raving comments about the chicken here). The waffle fries was nothing special either, hence the A-Ok. Why was it just ok to me? Beats me, but I am probably one of the few who are "meh" about chik-fil-a. Dined inside today with my daughter at 4:30pm. Everyone was smiling and polite, friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. I had my food in about 5 minutes and it was brought to my table. The restaurant was very clean and each table had fresh flowers in small vases. I ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich meal with waffle fries and a lemonade. My daughter ordered an 8 piece chicken tenders and two Apple sauces, which were chilled. I've had items missing in my order, and workers forget to make my order. It's regularly mediocre service.

So reason for ordering on the app before getting to the restaurant is that your food is ready in minutes by the time you get there. Yet I still had to wait some ten minutes just standing to pick up. They really need to change this. No one even asked what order I was waiting for or to have a seat. I asked in the instructions to have lemon sliced added to my drink not on the side, but they ignored that. Chicken strips are also very tiny. At least it was hot. Was very disappointed with my service/ visit today. I purposely placed a curbside order because i only have a 30 min lunch and to avoid all the extra time in drive thru etc, i place for curbside 20 min before arriving and when i arrive, i still had to wait an extra 15 min for them to bring out my order. I have had this place since I was very little. The ingredients and food quality never changed. So, what to get you might ask. Get the spicy chicken sandwich or any sandwich there. It is very good and to be honest better than Popeyes chicken sandwich's. I'll tell you why. Chick-fil-A is always consistent with their food quality and their sauces are amazing. The sauces I like to have are the ranch, (I am unhappy that they changed it a bit) Chick-fil-A sauce, and zesty buffalo. The fries. They are the best in the world. Of course for a fast food restaurant. They waffle shape is always so good. The people here are very nice too although I go to the one in the Market Place. The food is always hot like I like it and they are all very nice to me. One thing ain't would change is the lot. It is very difficult to get in and out of it and not that fun. I would give this place a five stars but I gave it a three because the lot is just so bad. Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food restaurants but this lot is kinda bad. I would not come here again because the dining area is kind of cold and the workers aren't super nice to me but it's Chick-fil-A and they are normally always nice. I would give the Chick-fil-A at the District 4.5 stars. They have a very friendly and courteous staff. They're involved in giving back to the community through fundraising drives, or events put on to support the community. They also have a great rewards program. As for the food, the spicy chicken sandwiches and waffle fries are delicious as is the frosted lemonade. A refreshing treat for a fast food restaurant. And they have delicious sauces to dip everything in. The only reason for the 4.5 stars instead of 5 is the peach milkshake was extremely difficult to drink. By far my least favorite chick fil a I've ever been to between Arizona and California. Whenever I walk in here there is NEVER anyone at the register with always a bunch of people waiting in line. It breaks my heart to give a one star review to one of my absolute favorite restaurants but I have no choice. This is the ONLY location that I avoid from OC to LA to everywhere else I travel. Why you ask??? A few years back I received a gift card and for whatever reason when I went to use it there was nothing on there. Long story short I spoke to the owner and he accused me of lying. Mind you the gift card amount was for ten dollars!!!! I was blown away - everyone who knows me knows I visit chick fil a on the daily for their lemonade, sweet tea and soda. This evening I made the mistake of going to this location - I placed my order and asked for a medium cup of water. I was told they are only allowed to give small ones. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, however, after a few bites of my sandwich, I noticed the chicken on my grilled chicken sandwich was still "pink"..... it WAS NOT fully cooked. I went and told the manager about my situation, he only said "what do u want me to do? I can give u a new sandwich ." He wasn't sincere at all, he didn't even try to apologize at all.
