I love me some Chick-fil-A. I have been to many in TX, WA and FL. The Valrico location for some reason has the most concentrated pool of quality talent of all stores I have seen. They are so polite, so friendly and always a smile. I have been to this spot 20 times. Last visit a car conks out in the drive thru feeder lane before the split. I was inside and the crew and leader attitude was well we just make this work. And they did! I was just amazed to watch the team work and leadership. I am not sure if these were family but the entire crew could have been magazine models with beauty and Grace. Chick-fil-A hires the best! Finally a chickfila 5 minutes from my house. I'm sad they took away the spicy chicken biscuit but I love the egg white breakfast sandwich. I always have a good experience here food wise and with staff. Parking and drive thru execution sucks because it gets so backed up plus starbucks right across from them makes it worse. Yea! Another Chick-fil-A! Just happened to be driving down (up?) Bloomingdale looking for a new spot to eat, and saw this. OK, it's not new food, but it is a new location (opened yesterday). The parking lot is crazy, like many in FL, but the staff outside kept the drive-thru lanes flowing. I was in line for less than ten minutes. *Every* last employee I talked to, and I talked to six, were pleasant and welcoming, just like every Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. This afternoon I waited 10 mins for my salad. My son had received his meal, I ask the little Hispanic girl if she could check on my order, and she shrug me off. I wait 5 more mins and still nothing. I went to the counter and spoke to the manager (blonde heavy set lady), she took my receipt without apologizing and looked confused. 2 mins later she gave me my salad, and again did not apologize! I told my son that she was a poor example and shouldn't be in her position. With all he teenagers working there she should always lead by example or find another career. This is the best Chick-fil-A in the state of Florida. They do it right every time. The long lines mean nothing they move quick. They have long lines because they are the best. They are all polite, the ice cream Machine is never broken, and they have a pregnant woman parking space up front. Very accommodating for small children the play area is very toddler friendly. My 1 & 3 year old boys love it. Very clean bathrooms. I come to this location frequently. read more

I am a lover of chick fil a's food and their great service. However, for the first time ever I must complain about the great restaurant. This location has horrible service and it took over 5 min to get our food. All while employees stood around doing nothing. There was even an off the clock employee chatting with an on the clock employee. Also, when I pulled up to the window it sounded like she was making a racial remark about latins. When she saw me she stopped talking and giggled. Keep in mind I am latin. As a loyal Chick-fil-A customer, i cater many events through Chick-fil-A and I've never had a problem until this new location on Bloomingdale opened up. Every time they are busy, they are completely inefficient in the drive through. Today they pulled the last straw when I ordered two large nugget platters to be picked up at 4:00 for homecoming. They called confirmed the time and order yesterday and this morning. We arrived at 4:15 to pick up the order and were informed it was being put together. At 4:30 we were told they were sorry, they put the order in the computer at 4:30 and it will be another 10 minutes. The owner brought the order finally at 4:42. Zero discount and a pathetic apology. It is Chic-Fil-A so the food is delicious but what separates this location from others is the customer service. On our visit tonight the manager (unfortunately I can not recall his name) saw we were getting up and offered to throw our tray out. He then noticed my wife hadn't eaten her soup and asked why. When he was told she didn't like it he immediately went and gave her nuggets to make up for it. My husband and I went to have a quick bit to eat. Our order was out quickly. Christian took our order. He was so polite and kind. Christian had a smile on his face the entire time he took our order. If I was reviewing just on him I would be giving FIVE STARS, but I'm not. I placed a specific order. I wanted my chicken cooked a little longer and I Specifically ordered a LARGE FRENCH FRY! I asked for Large several times. The reason being is because, every time I get French fries from any chic fil a I usually only get between 7 to 9 French Fries. I wanted more than that. My husband doesn't eat French Fries, but he eats MINE LOL. We got our order and the French Fries. They're were 8 fries. My chicken wasn't cooked right either The manager was sitting a cross from us. His name is Carson he was very nonchalant laid-back not a go-getter. I asked him if he could help me. He asked how. I told him I ordered a large French fry and only received 8 fries. He said I actually had a Medium fry and that my drink was a medium as well. We paid for a large. He asked if he could get us a large French fry (which was nice, but you had to have been there. It was a bother). We didn't want to be a bother to him. My husband said "no thank you". We thought a good manager would have brought the Large French Fries back to our table and apologized for the mistake. The reason for the low rating is for Carson's laid back mannerisms. My husband and I are go-getters we work really hard. We have driver personalities. It's just not the way we operate. We didn't find it appealing. I love chick-fil-a and I go frequently but I have refused to return to this location. They mess up on food a lot and I am always on the go so I can't always return to have it fixed which is fine but frustrating. Most chick-fil-a's will give you your order and sometimes even an extra coupon for their mess up but this one only gives you problems. They completely messed up my order and when I called they told me they would give me my entire order which I had ordered multiple spicy chicken sandwich meals and only received regular chicken sandwiches, they had given me someone else's order. When I return to receive my mess up which I kept documented by the way I called the store as soon as I got home, I kept my receipt, and I took a picture of the wrong name on my food bag they proceed to tell me that it was not what was written down in the book and they will not be refunding everything they promised but instead just one thing, which is fine if it had not been their mess up and my food didn't cost more than they were willing to give me. The "shift leader" proceeded to talk to me like I was stupid for even suggesting I was promised to be refunded. read more

I feel it's very important to post good and bad experiences especially for businesses that are thriving during the Covid in our corporations that tend to make a lot of money and don't care about customer service because they just expect the business. Chick-fil-A on Bloomingdale is absolutely horrible. Their customer service has gone downhill since the Covid tremendously. Their employees are not helpful anymore don't act like they're happy at their job and the quality of food for the price is ridiculous. We spend on an average for a family of four between $60-$80 per order we had over 7000 points that we were always given a hard time when trying to use. So I find a point system a gimmick. Not only that they've gone to the extent of when they answer their phone they will not greet you with respect and take your order they tell you to do it through the app or you can't order from their location. I don't use an app to order my food and when I have special order to put in due to my medical conditions I find that very unhelpful. Multiple times that my clients have used the app they've gotten multiple orders and overcharged on a regular basis. Beware and watch your tickets when you order for instance today after we've given him multiple chances another $70 order today and I forgot to charge me the platter until the last minute and they gave me two large bowls of soup after having surgery last Friday that was old it was completely jelly. Disgusting!!!. Not one employee through the drive-through today approximately at 1:30 were pleasant to deal with or had a smile. Shows there must be management problems within the location usually a drink less from the top. I'm extremely disappointed and want to share my experience in hopes that people will try other private Local restaurants and give them their business that would be more than happy to do extra to save their livelihood. Chick-fil-A is way overrated and don't have that friendly feeling and welcoming environment any longer. I'm hearing this from multiple people in the area. This yelp is mainly for customers as I know they won't take the time to really even take the time to reevaluate everything that I have pointed out or even care. Let's keep our business to local private places family owned that greatly appreciate us not corporations that are run like a mill. Enclosing of my review I would also like to add I was in pain from having surgery when I picked up our order today and the employee refused to put the large order in my backseat. Unbelievable that's like taking a wheelchair from a handicapped person very sad and very disappointing and I will never go back to any Chick-fil-A's because of the way this location has treated us and many others we know in the area!! I'm a fan of all things chicken so I like Chick-fil-A. The staff is always kind and responding with 'my pleasure' while willing to help you. My issue with this location is the super crappy parking/parking lot situation which is unfortunate since this establishment is less than a year old. The design inside works unless it is super crazy, then it's hard to find a seat but it's very nicely decorated. The outside is the issue flow. Most times that you can't get into the parking lot-yes due to the amount of people but I also attribute this most to the poor design of the space since there isn't an easy way to park without waiting in the drive through line for a long while until you get to the actual parking area. There is currently the ability to park across the street but once that is built on people won't be able to use the area as overflow/parking without waiting in the drive through line, which will make it way worse. This location is also attached to a crappy exit onto Bloomingdale too that should have been designed differently but I don't think Chick-fil-A had a choice in that. This all factors into my decision of if I really want to grab 'easy' delicious chicken. However even with this annoyance, I still need my Chick-fil-A on the regular. read more

Okay, when you're complaining about the parking lot design as a way to justify giving this place a poor rating, it might be time for some therapy. Look into Lot Parcels and Real Estate, and perhaps you might understand that they probably did the best they could with the amount of space they were allotted (Wendy's next door is basically the same design). Either way, I've been there when they've been crazy busy, and not once has the line of cars impeded upon anyone in the parking lot, mostly because of the incredible job the crew does with expediting the orders. Ordered a $40 meal for the family via the Chick-fil-A app. When I arrive to pick it up I informed the first employee that I need to add an additional shake. I've been informed the second employee that I needed to purchase an additional shake. And then I am formed the third employee that I needed to buy an additional shake.
