Any day of the week the drive thru not only wraps through the parking lot but has stopped one of the two lanes on 29 business also. Firstly, can't believe I'm giving 5 stars to a "fast food place", but Chick-Fil-A isn't a typical fast food restaurant. For years I'd heard people say great things about Chick-fil-A; this was before one opened in Warrenton. I had never been to one. When this location opened, people were ecstatic! Really? Fast food and people are lining up like it's gourmet dining? OK, so I tried it. And I loved it. The first thing that stood out, and what still sticks with me as WHY I love this place so much... is the politeness of the staff. There is no mumbling into the drive-thru microphone by someone who barely speaks English. There is clear, well spoken, well trained, and sincere greetings and thanks for being there. Love! When I say "thank you" back, they said "my pleasure". Always. Yet another brownie point. Always smiling, always friendly. When I dine in, the same wonderful service AND they come around and offer to refill my soda for free. LOVE. A real family atmosphere and super well trained staff. It's as if Chick-Fil-A sought after the sweetest, friendly, most police residents of Warrenton to work there. Mega kudos. More kudos go to them for all their community support. They are always having fund-raising days in support of locals school, charities, and non-profits, giving them 20% of the daily sales. Wow. Just... wow. And I can't write this without mentioning the food itself. Growing up a vegetarian and to this day being very "picky" when it comes to eating meat, oh my goodness I love their food!!! The regular sandwich is my favorite, along with the carrot salad. Love the tortilla soup, too. It may be "fast" food, but it's in a category all it's own. Other places should take heed of Chick-Fil-A and strive for what they have already successfully accomplished. PS... and although I'm not Christian, I love that they are closed on Sundays. Very poor customer service. We placed a order on line for pickup. We tapped the button for at the location. App updated to show order being processed. After waiting 20 minutes we went through the driveup to pick up the order. The person in the driveup lane had no idea with what to do with our order. Told us to park and go inside. The shift lead was totally unprofessional and unhelpful. Made us reorder and pay again for our order. Had no recommendations on how to recover the charge on our card. Basically you are on your own. To add salt in the wound we had $40.00 of groceries spoil that we just picked up from Harris Teeter. Again can't stress just how unprofessional the shift lead is and just how unhelpful the staff is. Horrible service for a Chic -fil-A, absolutely the worse experience ever. read more

This location had the cleanest, most pleasant dining area I've seen at a fast-good restaurant in a very long time. The staff waited on our table and offered soda refills, sauce and bags to take our order in the road. The children's play area was well-lit and cheerful-looking. My son was getting ready to move to Michigan and wanted to use his free chicken strips calendar card offer before leaving the next day. It was 10 am on a Saturday and they weren't busy and they refused to make them for him. This is the only Chick-fil-A that I've been to that wouldn't cook something if the customer is willing to wait. I've been to other ones that will cook sandwiches and/or fries at 8 am if you want them. I have 3 Chick-fil-A restuarants within 15 miles of my house, this one is the closest and I hate going here. read more

This chick-fil-a was some of the most accommodating and nicest people I have encountered! I had accidentally left my purse at this chick-fil-a while traveling on vacation. I was hundreds of miles away before realizing. I was able to work with a few great people who shipped my purse back to me (on their own personal time) with everything I had inside. They were super helpful in tracking and texted/called me regularly with updates. I was very stressed about finding my purse and getting it back, but they were so helpful and accommodating! I am so thankful that my purse ended up in good hands and I was able to get it back! A huge thank you to this Chick-fil-a and the great employees who were able to help me! read more

My wife went to store 02116 last night 7/12/2021 at 8:30 and discovered our debit card had been charged twice, not only for our order bus for someone else's order as well. When my wife called to get the unauthorized charge of $31.22 removed from our card the end result was the staff member at the store hung up on her. Today was the second time I ordered hot grilled chicken nuggets on a market salad and got something different from what I ordered. Instead, I received cold sliced dell chicken shredded on the salad. I seem to be the only person that has something bad to say about this location. Our drinks were wrong and the drive thru cashier was in a rush to get rid of us. I ordered a peppermint milkshake. They failed to tell me that they ran out of peppermint pieces, and the milkshake taste like it was made with rotten milk. For 3.99 for a small milkshake I would expect the quality to be of a higher standard rather than the subpar one that exists now. This Chick-fil-A used to be very good, but I think that they got too big for their britches and now serves garbage on a bun. The Haymarket Chick-fil-A is hands-down one of the best, go there if possible. read more

Customer service went above and beyond. A young gentleman(possibly the manager) came out to give me a Sprite after I threw up in their lawn bush from exhaustion of a long day hike at Skyline Drive. He kept checking to see if I have felt better later on. Food order was quick and every employee was polite. As we were leaving the restaurant, the same gentleman was running after another customer for their left behind belongings. All in all, I give hands down to this location. The thing I was most impressed by was the fact that everyone that walked by me was attentive and spoke with me, from the manager to the wait staff at the drive thur as they walked by. when I was finished with my meal a lady who was on her break, took my dirty tray for me to the trash and refilled my soda. This particular Chick-Fil-A is clean, food is well prepared, and the staff are nice. The staff try hard to get your food to you correctly and quickly. I have never had a problem with my order or waiting. They are always on top of things and will even bring food to your table or take it away when you are finished. Went out of my way for their breakfast as I was traveling through Virginia. I decided to go inside at 10:20 a.m. on December 27, 2014. When I entered the building there was a line with about 20 people with one register open. After 10 minutes with still 10 customers in front of me they announced breakfast was no longer being served. I have been a faithful supporter of this Chick-Fil-A since it opened but will no longer be one. I had attempted to take advantage of a catering special of buy one tray, get one free. In the email promotion of this offer, there was no reference to having to order through catering menu or not being able to order through mobile app. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I explained the second tray was supposed to be free and the lady assisting me was able to remove it. However, when I pulled up to the window to get my order, I was told I would have to pay for it. After spending 15+ minutes trying to resolve with assistant manager, she explained how I had not ordered correctly (tho in my defense, the instructions were not clear) but she was sure the manager would be able to comp the second tray this time. After about 2 minutes tho, she returned and said the manager would not comp the second tray. I have been a very good customer, feeding a family of 6 from this location at least once a week . . . but I will NOT be returning there again. read more

This is the best Chick-fil-A I have ever been to. They consistently have great, fresh food. Their breakfast is delicious and the biscuits melt in your mouth. The hashbrowns are perfectly done, crispy but not tough. The chickfila sandwich is always delicious, fully cooked, and warm. This may sound normal but trust me, it is not. There are some poor chickfila's out there that this one puts to shame. The service is great, they always get the order right, even when I complicate it. They usually have multiple people outside taking orders and the line moves very fast. read more
