This is a quaint little lunch spot right in the center of Old Town Warrenton. The food is excellent and service is attentive and helpful. The only thing I think would complete the experience is if they had silverware and reusable dishes. I like to reduce waste as much as possible, and paper/plastic disposable utensils don't suit this place. Otherwise, it was a lovely experience! The she crab soup is very well done. I hope to return soon

I read the good reviews and decided to try it. I ordered the grilled turkey sandwich. It was okay. The cafe was quaint with a cute local vibe. The service was polite and quick. I wanted to really like it but the sandwich was just okay.

Every once in a while you run into something truly AUTHENTIC. When you do, it stands out head and shoulders above normal daily experience. Third + Main is authentic. We were headed to the Red Truck Bakery and stopped here for lunch. We were greeted warmly and hospitably as we entered. That in itself is a rareity these days. We got She Crab Soup and a tuna melt for lunch. The Soup is homemade and delicious. The sandwich was made and grilled on the spot. The service was quick and efficient and personal. The decor is cute and casual, with a very relaxed feel. Just an all around great lunch. You definitely want to go!!

Finally got a chance to stop in while they were open. Cute little building just off Main Street. There are a few seats inside and several tables outside. They have a pretty decent sandwich menu to choose from with some of the sandwiches already made for grab and go. I went with the grilled cubano and my wife chose the grilled mango. We both chose sourdough for the bread. They have several drink options to include fresh lemonade and canned beer. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Our sandwiches came out fairly quick and we were pleasantly surprised with them. The flavors for both were very delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

This physical location used to be called "Renee's Gourmet." But at some point in the recent past - it transitioned to new ownership and management - and is now called "Third + Main Gourmet to Go." For some reason - my previous review written when it was "Renee's Gourmet" still appears under the listing for "Third + Main." So time to write a new review! Bob Moore the owner and chef "Third + Main Gourmet to Go." Since the change, I've been in a few times for lunch. So far, I've had the mixed greens salad with Tuna fish; the 3 cheese grilled cheese on sourdough bread; the Mushroom-Asiago Cheese Quiche, the She-Crab Soup, and the Raspberry Cheesecake bars, and the Oatmeal Raisin cookies. The Mushroom-Asiago Quiche, the 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese sammich, and the She-Crab soup - were all very enjoyable. The Oatmeal-Raisin cookies were a bit on the dry side. Great little lunch place! Check it out! #ThirdAndMainGourmetToGo

Just like a quick fix vacation; I pulled over to find the last parking spot in their fairly large and literally packed lot. Feeling like a cross between the deep south and a quaint Martha's Vineyard Inn, This beyond cute hole in the wall flows with character. The she crab soup was pretty fantastic too. How lucky for me to burn up some gas today and jaunt down to Warrenton! Next thing to uncover is who their wine specialist must be... It's a well thought out offering for cleansing your pallet before one of Mary's homemade desserts. The Key Lime pie is perfect in tartness and texture!

I paid for this, a five year old could have made a better sandwich. It was a little past 2 on 5/27/23 I was the only one in the shop. Definitely not in a rush as an excuse. In fact there is no excuse for this sandwich. I will never go back!!!

Friday is She Crab Soup day...count me in ! You have the choice of small, large and jumbo. The jumbo is $15 bucks. The large is $5 and quite adequate for a meal w/ a sandwich. I had the turkey with swiss on whole wheat; a winning combo. Best for takeout, parking can be a challenge. Renee is a pleasent lady and she is quite proud of the soup variety she prepares. She talked about cold carrot and butternut but was most enthusiastic about her Thurday chili....hmmm...I shall return!

Our waitress seemed friendly enough as she engaged in conversation with us about our dog and asked if she could have a milk bone and we said . She went and got water for us, which came in a nice bottle, but was then served with two nasty plastic cups that had spots all over them and chips around the rim. It took a while for her to come back around to take our drink order but when she did, we ordered specialty drinks, my husband got the Southern Jam which, after one step I could tell by the look on his face, he was disgusted by it and I got the mocktail Farmer Tan which was spicy and hard on my throat, I guess it was the chipotle. We weren't super hungry so we only ordered appetizers. We got the melting pot fries and the hot shrimp and crab dip. I guess they're trying to be unique by using Chick-fil-A fries because that's exactly what they tasted like and you could barely taste the truffle or the Parmesan. The shrimp and crab dip came out and was a bright orange. It almost looked like it was supposed to be a buffalo dip. We've never seen any type of crab dip like this before. It had absolutely no flavor. We couldn't taste any crab it's only big chunks of shrimp, but again after three servings of it, there was no flavor and it was impossible to wash any of this food down with the nasty drinks. There were three other tables filled while we were outside, and the sun was beaming down. One of the customers got up and tried to turn the fan on with no luck. It didn't work and it seemed like the waitress had disappeared. We didn't see her in a while. I'm finally I had to go to the bar and ask for the check myself once she came out with it. My husband gave her his card and when she came back, we discovered that we had been rung up with someone else's bill, which was $30 more than ours. I then went up to the window again, and the bartender was ringing up somebody else so he couldn't help me and told me that the waitress would fix it. She then came out with the correct receipt, but we still had no evidence of the the wrong charge on our card which my husband checked his account and had already been charged for. So I went back up to the window again and asked for a receipt showing that the credit was made or avoid or something, and the waitress was getting flustered because she didn't know how to do that and had to call someone else over to help her. They said they've avoided the transaction, but couldn't print anything out showing it just said the charge has been made so now we have to monitor our account to make sure that this was indeed credited to us. After having a horrible food experience, and then being charged for the wrong bill, we will never be back here again. Oh and we never got the milk bone for a dog either. UPDATE: I see the owner has responded and I do understand how a bank works because I used to actually work for one. # 1) I have not been calling you. #2) The majority of the review was about the food, drinks and service. Get your facts straight before you do a public unprofessional response. All the more reason to not recommend this business to anyone. The right thing to do would have just been to apologize for the bad experience like any professional business owner which you're clearly not.

I'm also a big fan of prosciutto and arugula pizzas, and Licorice Pizza's version is my favorite. Somehow all the ingredients are arranged thoughtfully so the whole pizza can be eaten bite by bite, rather than getting large pieces of prosciutto or arugula that slide off. A drizzle of oil makes all the flavors shine. We were taken care of by Cheyenne, who did her best by us despite it clearly being a busy night. I appreciated her checking on the pizzas for us unasked when they took a little longer to arrive. She also had a great sense of humor that delighted our whole table. Despite the record-themed decor, something about the ambiance does seem lacking, although maybe I'm just remembering the way the Black Bear looked when I visited in the past. That's worth overlooking for such delicious pizzas. The daily specials and happy hour deals are worth looking into when planning a visit, too. Last thing I want to mention, I came here with my parents, who tend to get cagey at "hip" places, especially at bar areas that can get a little loud. They were totally on board with everything, and as locals I expect to hear them come back soon for more pizza.

There was booming music playing as we entered, and our server met us at the table we selected to get us oriented. She was very personable, brought menus, and was attentive as we worked through our long overdue desire for food and drink. The drink menu wasn't huge, but had a nice, safe selection of beer and some festive holiday drinks. For food, lots of appetizers and mains, but we focused on their tasty-sounding pizzas as calzones. Our beer, cocktails, and pizzas came out quickly. Hot. Delicious. Our server checked in frequently and was very high energy. Cute place with solid food and drink choices as you take a break from shopping on Main Street.
