So good. Might be my new favorite place in the area. I had the special of the month--a chicken sandwich with Canadian bacon, cheese curds, and a maple cream on it. This was the perfect salty/sweet/crispy sandwich. The kids each got an order of tenders--3 to an order, very large tenders. We also got fries, a loaded nest (fresh chips with cheese sauce, bacon, and sour cream), and the Mac and cheese. All were great. I just want to make something clear. I LOVE chicken. Chicken is probably the only food that's preventing me from becoming vegan. So, when I say this, just know that I don't take this lightly...this place has the BEST chicken that I've ever had so far in my life. I ordered some Nashville chicken fingers with ribbon fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy. Succulent. Full of flavor. Spicy, but not too spicy. Perfect. Crunchy outside. Amazing. The magnet sauce cannot be slept on, either. That sauce is a blessing from flavor scientists. This chicken was so good, I thought about it for a week and went back for more. Maybe someday I'll try their chicken sandwiches, but for now, I'm addicted to their Nashville chicken fingers. The ribbon fries were a surprise treat as well. I hadn't seen any since the old Whats On Second in the old Northgate Plaza many many years ago. For $3 you get a whole box - excellent deal. Get them. This is the best new place I've tried in a long time. Someone mentioned it on Facebook and I looked at their menu and was thinking to myself that it looked really good, and I wish they had a vegetarian option. Lo and behold, I scrolled further, and they did!! I ordered online, and made a few notes in the special requests. They were all done correctly, and my order was ready right on time. I asked for an extra magnetic sauce when I got there, and that was no problem. I got a No Chick Chick Magnet. You can do a No Chick with any sandwich they have. My husband got a Chick Magnet with no bread, which was no issue and they wrapped it in lettuce. I wasn't sure when I'd be here again, so we tried it all and also got the loaded nest, mac and cheese and macaroni salad. And extra magnetic sauce. The No Chick was incredible! The Texas toast it's on is sooo good! You don't necessarily think a sandwich will be super filling ,but this was. Definitely a full meal, and just really, really good. My husband also likde his. It's breaded, which he wouldn't normally do, but he wanted to try it. No complaints. The loaded nest wasn't my favorite (I know everyone seems to love it but me). I checked my bag when I got in the car, and I tried a few bites. It was actually already a little cold, which was weird because nothing else was. It was ok, but nothing I'd want again. I am more of a fry person than a chip person, so maybe that's why. No worries, I still want to go back. And for $5, it was definitely worth trying. The mac and cheese was very good. It's baked with cheese on top, and for $3, it's easily a meal by itself. I ate a couple bites and warmed the rest and ate it later. The mac salad isn't one I like. Was there on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch with my mother. Ample parking with a large ramp into the restaurant and wraps around to outdoor patio. Not many tables inside or out but that late in the day there was plenty of seating available. We opted to sit outside after giving our order at the counter. Comfortable seats and large tables with shade umbrellas were perfect. We ordered a chicken sandwich. Mine was the magnet chix and mom ordered a special order with just lettuce and tomato. Both were on perfectly grilled white bread. They were delivered to our table hot and delicious. They were so hot we had to let them cool before we could eat them. I have heard rave reviews and seen them on here so this was a no brainer! The menu is pretty extensive. If you like fried chicken, you'll find something you like. They have salads and sandwiches. On the salads, you have a choice of chicken fingers or rotisserie chicken. My cousin got the Thai Chicken salad with fingers and I tried a bit and it was delish! I got The Magnet sandwich which is your basic chicken sandwich with lettuce, pickles and sauce. The sandwich was HUGE! You won't go hungry! We shared Cajun corn and loaded chips. The chips are ribbon fries with cheese, etc. I mean, how can you go wrong with those?! The corn was decent but I'd get something different next time. Great counter service. You order and pick it up. Absolutely amazing chicken. Love the smoky chick and the nashville tenders. Beware that if you go up a spice level with the nashville hot, it gets pretty hot, and I'm talking the searing cayenne type of hot. In my opinion the original spice level is a perfect nashville style flavor, but of course everyone has their preferences! Definitely give this place a try. They do lots of takeout (order online or call), but you can also eat inside or outside on site. Great place. read more

Checked out some photos of the sandwich and thought they may have forgotten the sauce. Went back a second time and ordered it again. Definitely the sauce was the missing ingredient. The carrots were either very mildly pickled or not pickled at all and the chicken is a good size; the batter is thick and crispy. Tasted the Chick Magnet and it was really good. Small little place, in the old Penfield Hots location. VERY nice staff members, who were willing to help you with the order and make sure you got just what you wanted. My company and I ordered two of the "original" (can't remember the official name) chicken sandwiches, and two orders of Mac and Cheese. We decided to get the sauce on the side since it was a take out order and we didn't want the bread to get soggy by the time we got home (I would recommend). The sandwiches were delicious!! And the Mac 'n Cheese you could tell was homemade and love went into making it. Easy parking and if you go out the back way you can turn right and go to the light instead of trying to pull out on Penfield Road from their front driveway entrance (if that makes an sense...) First, let's talk about their amazing customer service! The staff is friendly and very helpful. Now the food...holy cow! Delicious! I tried the Cali Chick with tofu and it was so delicious! The breading on the tofu is the same as the chicken, bursting with flavor and crunchy. The vegetable toppings all fresh. I also tried the Smokey Chick. Full of flavor! The chicken is unbelievably juicy and tender. The bacon, paired with the smoked Gouda cheese, make an amazing flavor combo. Restaurant is small with limited indoor seating. It came with a few slices of dill pickle and a piece of buttered Texas toast on the bottom. There was a sauce inside I never touched. It didn't need it. It is a little hot spicy but the heat dissipates quickly and nicely. The mac n cheese was good enough. Probably used more than one type of cheese but needed a hint of salt. I added, stirred and it was perfect. Very cheesy! The green beans were ok. I wanted to love them but they had been sitting in the pot too long. I was too full to eat much anyways. Check Please!: My meal was $14 plus tax. Very good price point. Bottom Line: If you are in the mood for some good and crispy chicken, do yourself a favor and visit them. AMAZING!!! This was by far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. This was my first visit as I'm in town for work. When I got to the restaurant I wasn't sure which sandwich I wanted. I was debating between the club, the french chick, and the spicy chick. When I told the cashier what I was pondering, a young lady prepping chicken for the fryer overheard me and immediately suggested the spicy club and she nailed it! I ordered the sandwich to go and when I got back to my hotel room and opened the container I was blown away by the size of the sandwich/ breast. It was huge. The Texas toast was toasted to perfection crispy on the outside tender in the middle, the chicken breast was seasoning was well balanced with the right amount of heat to give it a nice kick without overwhelming the taste of the chicken. It was perfectly fried golden brown and crispy. Oh and I almost forgot to mention how much I also enjoyed the mac and cheese for my side. It's a small little restaurant, so pay attention to your GPS as it is a bit tricky to get there. But, with the travel and confusion, it is worth it! I've been ordering sandwiches from Magnet Fried Chicken multiple times and it has always been consistently good . The Magnet Fried Chicken serves the best fried chicken sandwich I ever had. I usually order the Chick Mi or Riley's Chick. If you're in the mood for something spicy, I would highly recommend the Spicy Chick and get it the hottest you can. This wasn't just a good dinner - it was a treat. My friends drove in from Syracuse to meet me for dinner and they recommended Chick Magnet after they heard great reviews about it. We wanted to eat a delicious meal in a relaxing environment - we weren't disappointed. The restaurant itself is very smell; there's plenty of outdoor seating, which is great in the summer months. It is well-staffed and there are always multiple people behind the counter ready to answer questions and take orders. There is a decent selection of sandwiches along with sides - all for relatively reasonable prices. Everybody was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. I decided to try the Fiesta Chick sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. The sandwiches are a decent size (definitely larger than a snack) and it was served nice and hot. The chicken itself was amazing (which you would hope for, since it is a chicken restaurant!). My silly friend ate not 1 but 2 sandwiches! Yikes! He was stuffed BUT satisfied haha. What I also enjoyed was being able to sit outside in the beautiful weather while we waited for our food and afterward. The establishment is not directly next to the street, so it was very calm and quiet. There are not many trees in the area, so I recommend bringing sunglasses and a hat if you plan on staying outside for a while.
