The Garden dining room is hands down my favorite spot I've had lunch at in the Auburn/Opelika area. The time and energy invested in creating that environment doesn't go unnoticed, and it shows in every detail. Environment and service define a dining experience. Food plays a huge role too, of course, but if you're already on edge from an underwhelming atmosphere or inattentive staff, it's hard to fully enjoy a meal no matter how good the food is. This place nails all three: ambiance, service, and food. I also love that the menu is handcrafted and changes with the seasons. It keeps things fresh and gives you a reason to keep coming back. I've been maybe half a dozen times now, and every visit has been enjoyable and unique in its own way. The flavor combinations on paper may sound odd to some but trust them.
