Bunch of kids who cannot follow simple instructions. Asked for spicey chicken tenders but given regular. Asked for a cherry pie but never received it. This was a drive-thru order, so guest they don't want to repeat what you ordered. Oh, no utensils, too. Sad. Tried this place two days in a row and no attention to customer's order was really given. The guy told me the special was 22.99 so I ordered it and when I got to the window he said my total was 38 and some change. I asked what happened and he said oh sorry I thought it was 22. Y'all we stopped at this chicken express on our way home from a mini road trip and with it being lent my husband and I wanted some good fish. We were reluctant to stop for catfish because at the chicken express by our house is always dry and not good. We were like let's just give it a try, it was the most flavorful and well done catfish we've had from a fast food establishment. It was fresh. We wished we would've asked for lemons lol. I really love this location. The employees are nice. The food tastes good enough for fast food. My only issue is the fact that the hot wings have been on the menu, but discontinued for a while. I have been told in the past that they didn't carry them anymore, but after seeing them on the menu for months after, I gave it another shot, and they still don't serve them. I'm not sure if this is a corporate issue or not, but it is very annoying when something is on the menu and it is not able to be ordered. The wings are even included on the website, so it's possible it's just this location, but if that's the case they need to change the menu. read more

Didnt mind waiting for the lady in front of me to place a big order at the counter BUT I did mind that there were four employees in the store and no one could get out two chicken fingers in under 15 minutes. The food was ready. One lady working the register. No one getting food out. When I announced this, no one made a move to stop what they were doing and get me my food. Building next to former burger King had a sign for coming soon Golden Chicken. Guess they changed their mind. Don't even know what happen to churches chicken they had sign for remodeling awhile now. Always this place simple chicken. White or dark meat. Good They also have catfish good. Hot wings ok dont like seasonings Corn on the cob is good. Skip mac cheese nasty. Coleslaw decent. This is got to be one of the nastiest restaurants I've ever been in. There's so much grease on the floor you can make out people's footprints...people are slipping and sliding everywhere. Even the worker behind the counter almost busted her butt when she slipped. My advice... Stay away from this restaurant! If you feel a need to come for the rolls which are still delicious, be sure to bring Clorox wipes with you to wipe down anything that you'll be touching. read more

Wife went drive through and ordered two meals. Meal #1 had cold chicken tenders and no biscuit with the meal. Meal #2 had two pieces of fish that was dry like chewing a hard piece of leather, the mac and cheese was half cooked and the corn nuggets were missing. This particular establishment is atrocious. Let me first start my review with my multiple encounters with the staff. In short, these individuals are rude and ill mannered. Their interactions with customers are evidence to poor and improper training. The food, if you can even call it food, is disgusting. I have been given chicken tenders that were just literal breeding. I've ordered fish that is too tough to chew or too salty to consume. Not to mention I've waited in line for over 30 minutes to get this "food". Other chicken expresses do not seem to have this problem which leads me to believe that new management is desperately needed. I arrived at the drive thru menu board, with one car in front of me, and placed an order at 8:38pm tonight (8/16/2019). I was advised the wait would be 15 min...no suprise, it is always a 15 min wait everytime I come here, so I was prepared. I agreed and pulled around to the window, within a minute...so now it's 8:39. I paid, she confirmed it would be 15 min and asked me to pull into parking slot. After 27 minutes, I went inside to inquire about my order. They were just starting to box it, when I asked. This took another 5 to 6 minutes. She offered me tea, I declined. I told her I just wanted to know why it took almost 42 minutes, by this time, when I was told it would be 15 minutes...the first girl said she wasn't sure and offered me tea again....I declined...again. An older lady came up to see if she could help me...I asked again about why it took so long. She advised, per store policy, after 8pm, they only dropped chicken, as it was ordered. I advised that it had now been 42 minutes, and asked how long it took to cook a batch of chicken....she said 15 minutes. I asked so why had it been 42 min by this time? She didn't know...I asked if my chicken didnt get dropped when I ordered it or did it take that long to cook....she said it did take that long. (my order was 8pc, all dark, with potatoes...nothing difficult). I said to her, ma'am...if I cooked 8 pcs of chicken in a commercial deep fryer for over 30 minutes, they would be charcoal and not fit to eat. I was again apologized to and offered tea....apparently tea fixes everything. I again declined. Just an observation....On a Friday night, with a line of cars around the building by the time I finally received my food, the inside dining was about half full and at least 4 cars were waiting on orders after me.... why would your policy be to cook one 15 min order at a time....restaurant management/time management, needs serious work. And when asked... thanks for the offer of tea, but I'm not here to get something for nothing....just my order in the time it was advised that it would ready....and if you lost or forgot the order...just be honest! read more

Service and food used to be great when this location first opened. During my last visit, greasy tasting chicken, watered down gravy, and a dirty environment. Workers refused to replace the gravy and only offered dipping sauces. Stay away until reviews get better. read more
