my chicken breast was soggy and I got the 3 piece bone in . Now they upcharge for breast. ( because they are bigger) I won't be back . I like Chicken Express. I had never heard of it before moving to Burleson, but since then it has become my favorite chicken place. I love the corn nuggets and and tenders, but also love that they will let me order white meat chicken only. Churches will also, but the one in Cleburne has gone down hill lately. I don't know if it is all of them, but that 1 sure has. Anyway, Chicken Express chicken is better I just wish they would get some better fries. Their service is good. If lines are long in the drive thru they will come outside and take your order, and sometimes bring it out before the line ever moves. I really don't think there is ambiance either in my car or in a fast food chicken restaurant. They use to have jalapeno poppers but I am not seeing them on the menu here, but that is probably because grubhub provided the menu. I also like their apple and cherry pies. read more

Great chicken. People were very nice to me and my order was correct. Store was pretty clean.

ordered 7 piece spicy chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy and 1/2 and 1/2 tea at the drive thru. $17.00. When I got home had 10 small pieces that were over cooked, dry, as if they broke them up and dropped them back in the fryer. Mashed potatoes had no gravy, and tea was completely unsweetened. I will never go back there and will drive to Joshua to at least get normal chicken sizes and gravy on mashed potatoes and gravy. The owners should retrain every employee and manager or replace them. This restaurant has 1.5 stars rating and there is a reason for that. The customer service is horrible and the food isn't better. The staff is so rude that I spoke to the manager which was useless. I asked the manager for the employees name and she refused to give her name. This place needs to be shut down. The place is badly managed. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! Ate a 3pc fish with hush puppies and tarter sauce. Husband had a 3pc chicken from here on Friday 5/18/2018. Four to five hours later I was belching an awful taste, throwing up, sweating profusely, and ass attack from hell!! All I could do this weekend was drink Gatorade and eat bananas, oatmeal, and tried to have a good dinner on Sunday evening with more bouts of ass attack so bad I had to go the hospital. I work in healthcare and I know what kind of effect those things can have. Everyone has days that are just "off" so to speak. However, the so called " customer service" at this particular establishment was absolutely THE WORST service I have ever experienced! The level of rudeness displayed by the older woman that took our order in the drive thru and that I again spoke with when I went inside was 100% unacceptable. Anyone who works with the public and will stand behind the drive thru window, that she has just slammed in someone's face, and not only loud talk but cuss and make racial slurs ABOUT the people sitting right there at the drive thru window should seriously consider seeking out additional training in how to, at the very least, act like you are not the bitter, racist individual being portrayed to the patrons of Chicken E. The customer service was awful and the food is borderline. to awful. When I asked a basic question to have tea with no ice he had to ask someone. When I received my order there was no gravy and looked at me like it was a ridiculous request. BUT THE WORST part was when I found a piece of wood in the green beans. This location is usually my favorite. Sometimes the wait is long, but the faces are usually smiling and the people are kind. I do not know what happened tonight. I'm not angry at my experience, I'm disappointed. Where I usually do not mind waiting I found myself ready to get out of there as fast as possible. Everything I requested was an issue, it was almost like the staff did not want my business. No rolls, no wings, 15 minutes on the tenders. This was all ok, until the attitudes of the people were clearly on their faces. There was one staff member, I do not know her name, that made the effort to make it better, but I literally have never been so appalled by the attitudes of employees that work at this location. I will not be back. I will take my business else where.
