We decided to stop by for a quick meal for the night and this place the staff wasn't happy to be here. Couldn't understand them through the drive thru due to just mumbling and when we asked for sauce they didn't give it to us. No one was mean just staff unhappy to be there and not delivering great customer service.

Order was correct, food cooked correctly & nice staff. Drive through line wasn't bad either.

Bought a Family Tenders Meal and this is the rolls the Midlothian Chicken E thought it would be good to serve! Okra is well done too. You can do better Midlo Chicken E!!

    Regular chicken

Ordered spicy tenders and again got plain. This is a regular issue. When the manager answered about the issue he became hostile and told me I was wrong. Absolutely the worst service I've ever got.

On our drive back to Austin, we decided to stop here based on the stellar ratings - easily the best decision of our trip. Our table ordered quite the spread: crispy mozzarella sticks with that perfect cheese pull, golden onion rings with just the right crunch, two juicy burgers cooked to perfection, and two kids' chicken nugget meals that disappeared in minutes. But the star of the show? The Philly cheesesteak sandwich - an absolute masterpiece with tender, flavorful steak, melted cheese, and perfectly sautéed peppers and onions that had us fighting over the last bite. Here's how good it was: I literally ordered another Philly cheesesteak to go before we left. I couldn't bear the thought of not having one for later! Every single item exceeded expectations. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and fresh, and the quality was restaurant-level despite being a roadside stop. This is the kind of place that turns a routine road trip into a memorable experience. If you're passing through, don't think twice - pull over and treat yourself. Your taste buds will thank you!

My family and I are Indian, so we tend to gravitate toward bolder flavors, and the spicy original has a nice level of heat without overpowering everything else. We also regularly order the soy garlic, which is great for anyone who prefers something milder. It's an easy place to order from when everyone wants something a little different. Service has always been awesome, friendly, efficient, and never rushed. When we do dine in, the place has a relaxed, clean, and welcoming vibe that works just as well for families as it does for a casual meal out. What stands out most is the consistency. The chicken is always cooked well, the flavors are reliable, and the experience is straightforward and smooth. It's become one of our regular spots, and we're already planning our next visit. Worth checking out!

The restaurant was clean and it wasn't crowded when I went with my brother on a Wednesday evening. Each table has a little cup with a bag in it so you can throw your chicken bones into it. The staff were very nice. We ordered three different wing orders and three non-wing orders. The cheese corn, ddeokbokki, and waffle fries came out a little less than 10 mins from ordering, but it took another 15 mins after that for the wings to come out, so honesty it took a little longer than I was expecting. The cheese on the cheese corn was more charred than melted and it was very liquidy at the bottom. The spicy galbi wasn't spicy imo. The secret sauce was waaaayy too sweet for my liking. Everything else was good. I really liked the ddeokbokki. Honey Garlic never misses. Definitely wouldn't mind dining in again in the future with the cook time in mind.

Walking into this place immediately gives you the feeling of an old-school neighborhood BBQ joint…read more The building itself is older and pretty small, with just a handful of booths and several small tables packed into the dining area. The decor is very minimal, but one wall completely covered in customer signatures honestly adds a nice personal vibe to the place. Ordering happens at the register tucked into the back corner, so when there's a line it cuts right past some of the tables. Definitely close quarters while people are eating, but it somehow still fits the character of the place. The gentleman taking orders was friendly, just not overly talkative. The lady who brought our food out was very polite and welcoming though, which I appreciated. Overall, the service was okay. Our food took about 10-15 minutes to come out, which felt a little long considering it didn't appear very busy other than one larger party already seated when we arrived. To be fair, we couldn't see what was happening in the kitchen. The only real frustrating part was waiting close to another 10 minutes for a to-go container after asking a few times. As for the food, I'd say it landed somewhere in the average range for Texas BBQ. Nothing was outright bad, but nothing really blew me away either. I ordered the loaded baked potato topped with brisket, link, two pork ribs, all the traditional baked potato toppings, and their spicy BBQ sauce. First off, the potato itself was fantastic. Huge, perfectly tender, and honestly exactly what a baked potato should be. The toppings were fresh and plentiful -- butter, cheese, sour cream, bacon pieces -- and it could have stood on its own as a solid meal even before adding the meats. The brisket was over chopped, which personally isn't my favorite style at a BBQ joint. I usually feel like finely chopped brisket loses some of the texture and full smoke flavor you get from sliced or a coarse chopped brisket cut to order. It stayed moist, but I really didn't pick up much smoke flavor from it. The link was unfortunately overcooked and dried out. The casing had tightened around the meat, and even sliced up it just didn't have much juice left in it. The ribs were probably the weakest part for me. They were on the smaller side, dry, and pretty tough with the meat cooked down close to the bone. Now with all of that said, the seasoning on the meats was excellent. Bold flavor across everything, and the spicy BBQ sauce was absolutely on point. I just wish the meats themselves had a little more life and moisture to match how good the seasoning tasted. Overall, everything felt pretty average to slightly below average for me, especially by Texas BBQ standards. On the positive side, the prices were actually very reasonable considering how expensive meat has become these days. I'd still come back again because I'd like to try some of the meats individually and let them stand on their own without being loaded onto a baked potato. There's definitely flavor here -- I just think the execution was a little inconsistent during this visit.
