I knew they had a lot of options on the menu but I only needed a bacon cheeseburger w/ chips and a Diet Coke. The food was good! The staff was very friendly and accommodating too. Hit this place up!

First, half the tables were empty and there was still like a half hour wait. It just seemed not staffed enough, but once you're here (they don't take reservations) there's not a lot of places nearby to change your mind to. There is a small merch shop to browse as you wait. The tables are nicely spaced out. The Bavarian pretzels were great, but they only come with mustard and cheese is an upcharge, which I've never seen as a pretz connoisseur. It was an interesting thicker cream cheese-ish dip which required spreading with the knife. The website lists a "weekly steak special" but none was to be found when we went. So we got the gyro which was decent and the Philly cheesesteak which was extremely salty to the point of being almost inevitable. The homemade chips (the only non upcharge size) were thick and crunchy. Both sandwiches were around $20 which felt overpriced for the quality. Other sides were available for an upcharge, which seemed not worth it on the existing bill. The service was good, the bathrooms were nice, and there was plenty of parking. The food was just disappointing. If you're more of a drinker, you may be able to overlook that.

This is my all time, absolute favorite bar in Frederick. I almost wanted to refrain from saying…read morethat to avoid it getting too packed but this place definitely deserves the attention. I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in Frederick. The ambiance is like a dim light basement, a clean and moody aesthetic with bar seating and couch seating. It does get loud in there and I think that's because the sound of everyone's voice just bounces against too many hard surfaces. Nonetheless it's super cozy and my favorite spot!! The drinks are all fantastic. They make their own organic distilled liquor and on top of that they away have seasonal drink selections. I go there wanting the same drink but also try something new and it never disappoints! They craft their cocktails with love and care and really put effort into a delicious well rounded cocktail. This is my go to spot for gin, I'm not even a gin drinker but I am now because their gin is amazingly smooth. I can't say enough great things!

It's a relaxed, welcoming spot and a perfect place to hang out for a bit. The staff was amazing, super friendly, and really knowledgeable about everything they offer. The tasting was great and gave a good feel for their lineup. I really liked that they use locally sourced ingredients across a variety of their spirits. You can tell there's a lot of care put into what they're producing. Definitely recommend stopping in. Afterward, head over to their bar next door and try a cocktail made with their spirits. It's absolutely worth it.

Ah Lost Ark, so sad to see you go. It may seem strange to write a review for a business ready to…read moreclose its doors, but if not to pay it respects, I would recommend that anyone reading this consider purchasing any of their remaining stock from your local store; it's all pretty good! The inside is simple, with the occasional nod to ships at sea, which is easy to do if you have lots of barrels for aging spirits. There is a little bar where they make great cocktails rather quickly. They have spirit-forward as well as citrusy. Never had one I didn't like. The spirits (as of this writing, still available at some local liquor shops) are fantastic. My absolute favorite is the Lady Anne white rum. Some white rums are barely better than rbbing alcohol, but this has character and depth and makes a fantastic mojito. RIP Lost Ark!

There is a retail area as well. They sell different varieties of their delicious concoctions. The menu is on a TV and there are so many options to pick from. A flight of 4 tastings is $8 and gives you the opportunity to try out the different types of alcohol. The Carmel cream was very good. The South of Manhattan and Muddy Waters were fantastic cocktails. We were greeted upon entering and Erik was very friendly. We sat at the bar. He was filling lots of orders (people come to the bar and order, then sit in the rum lounge area) and was still very attentive and welcoming. They do tours and sampling. Check their socials for more information. They also have an extensive list of entertainment.
