I couldn't decide on one thing to order originally because everything looked so good! I decided on chicken & bean pupusas & chicken taquitos which came with beans and rice. The service was great while I was in the restaurant & they offered me water & chips while I waited. I was pleasantly impressed by all of it. It was all so yummy and reasonably priced. They did get my order wrong on one of the pupusas, but I didn't care because it was really tasty. Love love love this place & will be back to support this business.

The beans were a little on the salty side, but not a problem if spread on the tortilla. Also tried a pastry from their bakery counter. Some kind of layered, broken phyllo crumbs with white butter cream. It was tasty and went well with coffee. You'll need to eat with a spoon or fork and crumbs land EVERYWHERE! My wife somehow managed without dropping any flakes. We also had to try their pupusas and got the pork and cheese. One of the best pupusas we've had in the area! The masa was patted down very thin and the filling was thick and packed with pork and melted cheese. VERY HOT! Good thing we did an hour workout! My wife told me when she lived in the area, she would never go in there alone as their dine-in clientele was all male latino day workers. Aside from the waitresses, she was the only woman there. They had steady take-out business and families would just pick up and go. It's a pretty small place, so not really good to have small children there. The hipsters have not yet found the place, so they don't spend a whole lot on decor. Overall a nice hole-in-the wall place with good prices. NOTE: All the times I have come here, the service is REALLY SLOW. Expect to wait maybe 10-15 minutes to get the check on busy days. Plan your schedule accordingly.
