I love kmarket for their mini food hall & all their discount deals! KMarket is the only place I have found to sell these instant bean thread noodles (pictures attached). This is one of my go-to Korean markets that also carries Chinese, Japanese, and southeast Asian foodstuff and produce. Reasonably priced thinly sliced shabu shabu beef and pork with different levels of fattiness to choose from as well as thin sliced beef and pork also for bulgogi ready to go in the frozen meat section. There are live tanks of fish, and there are also sushi grade salmon and tuna. The produce section is smaller than an H-mart but it is well curated and fresh - everything from Tong Ho / chrysanthemum greens to culantro to gobo and lemongrass. The tofu selection in terms of different levels of firmness and brands is particularly good with at least one brand often on sale. Right by the entrance are the specials of the week including a box of Asian / Korean pears or large Fuji apples as well as berries on sale or muscat grapes imported from Korea next to a table of half or quarter precut jackfruit . And, the amazing thing for an area about to experience a huge snow storm, an entire pallet of four canister butane is on sale for less than $5. This is a great place to do your East Asian grocery shopping as well as having access to a good selection of southeast Asian foodstuff too. read more

If you're coming from DC, this is one of the nearest high-quality Asian grocers you can find. Although its inventory is predominately Korean ingredients, it has a very big selection of ingredients overall. The produce is amazing and well maintained, I even managed to find really good deals on staple ingredients. Shout out to their international section as well, it had a good array of Latin ingredients surprisingly. Their meat-seafood selection is spectacular and specific that there is even a dedicated section to dried shredded squid. This just shows that their selection is also carefully considered because ingredients like dried seafood are often not expanded upon or properly refrigerated! So maintenance and selection of specialty ingredients is very evident here. Their prepared foods were reasonably priced and looked very appetizing. Their homeware items are just as good. There are many other options in the DMV area and it's a long time resident I would not go to this grocery store. As other international markets, they carry fresh produce, imported items, snacks, a houseware section, meats, and seafood. The selection of brands are limited, so you won't find a good variety as other larger chains that you find in the NoVA area. You'll also find a few boutiques, selling appliances and clothing. On this particular day trip, I ventured to the Mochi Donut shop in their food court. The sushi line looked promising and their were quite a number of people during a weekday lunch time. I snagged an assortment of Mochi donuts (for $33). The donuts themselves were nice and chewy with a hint of sweetness; the icings were sweet for sure. Each flavor did taste like the name. My kids loved the strawberry and Ube ones most, while Hubs enjoyed the coffee, Oreo, and Nutella one. I enjoyed Everything but loved their Black Sesame and Matcha best. Huge and exceptionally clean Asian store in Annandale, Va. So many things to look at. So many things to buy. Like most Asian stores, it's not really organized by product (ie noodle section, sauces, etc) more by country. So if you want that sauce or seasoning and can't remember what flavor of Asian food you tried, your SOL and will just have to go around the whole store. But I do love exploring grocery stores, I never know what kind of goodies I'll find. Oh and the food court was huge, oh so clean and with lots of choices. read more

Large selection of Asian/Indian foods along with a good deal of Latin American foods and some other stuff from all around the world, including some stuff you'd find in a regular grocery store and some really unique items. Stuff seems mostly organized by country, if that helps in searching for anything. They have meat, produce and seafood too and prices seem on par with or cheaper than the usual grocery stores. I was so very excited to finally shop here and personally, for me, it did not disappoint ;-) Grocery/products This location has a HUGE selection of products from fresh Kimchi to delicious variations of ice-cream. Every aisle we turned had a huge selection of different items like udon soups which were so good! The selections of rice cakes is ongoing and all the spices available will keep you in there for hours (well lol atleast me)! The only thing I would say is that they need a larger variety of produce and variations of things. I was hoping to find dragon fruit and/or Jackfruit but unless I missed it, it was definitely not there. They have produce but not the variety of things I was expecting for such a big establishment. Frozen section is amazing! They have a food court that we didn't try but definitely will be back to; especially for the Mochi donuts ;-) Service I can't really speak on the service since to be honest we didn't really ask or need assistance. The girl the checked us out was fine she wasn't the friendliest but also not rude so I'm okay with that. I saw another person reviewing mention the security guards at this location and I must admit that they do seem a bit intimidating ; I know that's there job but the one we saw was kind of standing in the middle of the checkout and food court area entrance. He was standing there in the center with a mask in a very intimidating stance where I wasn't sure if I could head back to check the food court out or not. I figured I'd just head back and if he'd stopped us we'd take it from there. We just went around him lol all was well. Discovered this after coming from a Yelp event!. 8-28-24 ,This is a Huge International Market it's VERY clean, it's a lot of departments, the service is cool , the security guard his name started with a M I can't remember was very helpful & hilarious assf thank you sooo much if ever you read this! !!. He showed us that there's a whole few stores in the back and eateries !!. I'd certainly return to look longer I was on a time crunch but I loved the reasonable prices!. New Korean market next to The Block. Took over the old Kmart. It's still new so it wasn't packed with people, thankfully. Huge fresh produce section and soup section. For me, I was so thrilled to see a marinated meats section and picked up bulgogi for me and the hub's lunches. I also had fun in the housewares section. I was able to get made in Japan bento boxes for just $2.99. If you're a fan of dumplings, they had a sizeable collection too. The grocery is to the right. To the left, the food court looks fully open now. I was there Sunday 6pm time and it was packed. Lots of seating. They just opened and I am glad I was able to see it. Their produce looks so fresh and so many variety of Asian produce. You will also find the vegetables that you find at any other grocer. They have many brands and sizes of kimchi. So if you only wanted to try, there's a small bottle but if you have a big family that devours it, there's one for you too. The fresh fish and seafood is amazing. Fresh crayfish next to crabs and you can serve yourself. If you want fish, they have fish mongers who will be able to debone and fillet it for you. You have got to see the shrimp. Yum! What caught my attention are the ramen aisles! Two glorious aisles of various ramen whether from Taiwan, Japan, Taiwan, China, or Korea. You can get them in packs, singles or cups. They also have sales! Nooooooo...there goes my money.... :-$ You need to check out their frozen section for fish cakes, dumplings, bao, and springs rolls. If you are looking for narutomaki for your ramen bowl, they have it in the standing freezer. Their meats looks so good. Looking to make shabu shabu, fondue, or hot pot, they have thin sliced meats. They have different organs too like beef tongue. This is in the fresh meat section. You can also find some meat in the middle freezer section. Before you leave the freezer section in the far side of the store, you might to peruse the kitchenware section. I got a cute ramen bowl for myself and one normal one for my uncle. I hope they keep up the place as it is with fresh produce, clean, and well stocked. If they do, it will be there for a long time! Good luck! After you shop and you are hungry, head to the food court. So far they only have two open. Some of the kiosk that will open looks so interestingly good and I think they will offer delicious goodies. Can't wait to see and taste! K-market has a great selection of fresh produce. I come here when I'm in the Annandale area and need some quick groceries. This place tends to be a little more expensive than HMart and Good Fortune when it comes to meat, but it's not bad. They have a nice frozen food section and a selection of Asian sauces (Filipino, Chinese, Korean) and Asian liquor. Similar to Lotte, the have a great food court on the other side of the grocery area. I love their Korean soups (one place offered a grilled mackerel and soup combo deal), kim bap, sushi, fried foods, skewers and a mochi donut shop. They also have a Cuckoo seller here if you want a fancy water dispenser. read more

This is for the food court since I don't know what else it's called. There are super great options in this food court that I prefer over the block (which is right next door). I love getting the bulgolgi soup or beef ox soup from one Korean place, and the other Korean place has great cold noodles. There's also a mochi donut shop that has great flavors, and a sushi shop that really delivers (though I've noticed lately their skimping out a bit...). The seared salmon from that place is the best, and a friend of mine enjoys the chirashi salad too. There's also a skewer place which has delicious meats! All in all, great place to eat with great variety. read more

This review is more informational than an actual review. I give it 4 stars mostly because that's what it was already averaging and also for the variety of options you have here. I was curious about what the food court had to offer, but I really couldn't find any info on it in any detail, so I decided I would go and get that info myself and share it. A lot of these places look great and I would love to come back and try them but I opted for Han's Korean food. They had great prices and a good looking menu. I got the LA style short ribs. For the amount I paid I got a lot of food and the ribs were delicious. I waited longer than you might expect at a food court but that was obviously because they were cooking it to order. I also got some mochi donuts and bubble tea from donutchew. They were all great. The most popular looking places were Suny Sushi and Bu Ddu Mak. The skewer place looked good too. I also grabbed some stuff from the grocery store. Plenty has been said about that part of the establishment. It had a great international selection. read more

Located right next to the Block, K Market International is a brand new Asian grocery store with a pretty bad ass food court which includes sushi, donuts, bubble tea, modern-Asian patisserie, skewers and more! The grocery store is pretty standard but it is well stocked, the produce looks fresh, and it's very clean and spacious inside. Nothing to complain about at all. One of my favorite Asian store grocery finds is Bibigo dumplings (found in the frozen section). When you put them in the air fryer they are *chef's kiss* I have a friend who SWEARS she saw Randall Park in the shrimp chip aisle, but that has yet to be confirmed. With the price of groceries going up by a bazillion dollars, it is nice to count on stores like this for a variety of fresh, tasty food that will fulfill even the most wandering gourmand's tastebuds. read more

Being asian owned and wanting to support my community this was great. Greed has taken over this place. My understanding they network with local businesses and sell them the best products. Customers get what's left. Prices are insane and they don't even try to compete as they probably feel they have a trapped consumer base. I've asked one of the associates about price of cherries and he said he did not know and walked away. This gentleman was helping other customer for 10 minutes and I felt he was treating me differently. Normally, on other super markets, when they don't know a product price, they check the price and let me know its price. My son and I were on our way down Little River Turnpike and saw the Grand Opening signs along the road. I had been anticipating this place opening up soon, so of course we had to take a quick stop. This place is called K Market, not to be confused with the K Mart that used to be what was in this spot many years ago. The cashier mentioned the just opened yesterday. I'm glad we were able to stop in before this place got busy. The staff was all masked, and everyone seemed busy stocking shelves and cleaning up. This place has a fresh fish market in the back which seemed to be the only area that was particularly packed with customers. My son and I browsed quite a bit (we were not planning for a grocery trip) and noticed they have lots of options for kbbq to cook at home as well as ready to eat options like sushi, kimbap, and bento box type lunches. Lots of sweet treat options and all very clean (since it's new) We grabbed some Pocky to go. It looks like they have a huge area for a food court which was not yet open. It looks like it's size could be comparable to the food court at the Fairfax HMart. The staff was super friendly and gave us some masks and sanitizer and candy for my son as opening day gifts. :) This is super close to my parents house in Annandale, and I'm glad they put a nice international market in the neighborhood. Great food court inside but horribly rude "security" they have hanging out at the front. They have serious unprofessional, condescending power-trip issues, screaming and yelling at paying customers. Today, I bought the marinated pork belly from the store. When I got home, I realized that there are three different price stickers on the top of the box, and have three different packed dates on them. The very last sticker clearly says that the meat was packed on 1/20/23 and expired on 1/27/23, the middle one says the packed date was on 1/26/23 and expired on 2/3/23. The very first one says the packed date was on 1/28/23 and expired on 2/4/23. Really? You can't treating your customers like that. OMG! Be careful when you buy this kind of the meat. read more
